The Big Leagues! (Kaoru and Katori)

The big leagues! Kaoru was finally here, and everyone needed to get ready for the little ball of enthusiasm and spirit that she was. Carrying her sports bag with her, the small japanese woman opened the door to the LAW gym, where she saw a whole lot of people, girls of all sizes and builds training, working hard from the early morning. She admired their dedication, and she was more than willing to match it if that's what it meant to be a LAW champion. This was her chance! She just had to grasp it. The japanese girl took a deep, deep breath and took her first steps into this new world of wrestling. LAW!

Of course, not knowing anyone there was also rough. Being the new girl around was almost always synonim with being the new prey for the bullies, or being 'that new girl from wherever'. She never forgot she was in a competitive environment, and as much as she liked making new friends, she'd do well to not forget that. Entering the gym, she saw a girl on her own - a hair with blue hair that called her attention. "O-ohayo!" She exclaimed, not really knowing much about this girl, but willing to take her chances with her. "I'm Kaoru... it's really really nice to meet you!" She hoped Katori would be nice; otherwise, she'd just be making a fool out of herself

Katori Kimura has gotten of to a good start so far in LAW, having made a successful overall comeback to the world of wrestling and even managed to get two matches very quickly within 2 weeks since signing up with the new league. The angel was on a roll, and she wanted to ride this momentum out as much as she could. But before that though, she needed to make sure she was still in shape and keeping up with her training. Or better yet, get stronger so she can handle the Amazons better so she can beat them.

She was initially lifting weights when she came into the LAW wrestling gym, before moving over to weights, followed by push-ups, squats, and sit-ups. Now she was doing stretches to keep her body flexible, the sweat from all the working out being visible on her hot body which is being covered by a black sports bra and green short sports shorts, green wristbands, and red sneakers. Katori started to take a break after a few more stretches, going over towards a bench which had her own sports bag on it to grab her towel and water to take a sip from.

But then she hears a voice call it to her. "Hm?" Katori turns around to see a girl a little shorter than her standing before her, introducing herself out of nowhere with lots of energy. "Hi there, nice to make your acquaintance." Katori started to say as she looked the girl dead on in the end. Considering where they are, it might be obvious what this girl was gonna ask for, but just to be safe. "So, how can I help you?" The young woman asked, waiting to see what this cute ball of energy wants, even though she has a good idea.

Kaoru couldnt help her curiosity, taking a bit of a subtle peek at the weights near Katori. The girl was bigger, but not that much bigger. She hadnt really seen her on the website last time she checked, so maybe she was kind of new like her? That fact alone helped her feel a bit more comfortable.

"Uh.. weeeeeell... I'm kinda sorta new here, I dont really know anyone." Kaoru started, before pointing at one of the really really big girls. "And I think the big girls would just laugh at me if I approached." She was positive that there were big girls that were super nice to rookies, but she wasnt there to risk it. Not yet at least. Maybe sometime when she meets them in the ring? But on her very first day, she wanted to feel comfortable and welcome. And what better place for her to feel comfortable at than...

"So uhmm... would you spar with me?" She muttered, showing herself a bit shy. Kaoru was all confidence when it came to proving herself, but when she had to ask for help or favors, you could see her pout even if a little bit. Specially towards people she didnt know. "I wanted to get a feel of the roster, and you look super nice!"

As Katori waited for Kaoru to answer her questions, she observed the smaller girl for a bit. Seeing how she might be either between light or middle weight, and her build makes her look quick on her feet. But that's only just a guess currently, not anything true and the angel can see for herself.

And then the girl answered, not only was she new but she wanted to spar with Katori. 'I knew it.' She thought after hearing that. Before that though, she looked over to where Kaoru was pointing, seeing some of the heavy weight girls and then hearing the girl say they might laugh at her. Which made the woman chuckle a bit.

"Well, thank you. I am a really nice person, and sure Kaoru-chan, I'll spar with you." Katori said while giving the girl a competitive smile, eager to see what this girl can do. But before that though. "We should change first though." She lets out as she grabs her stuff and heads into the locker room to change her clothes. A few minutes later, Katori comes back wearing a basic lime green leotard with white wresting boots and white wristbands as she walks back to the wresting ring.

'Yatta!' exclaimed Kaoru in her mind as her new partner accepted her offer, instantly rushing to the locker room after Katori's suggestion. "Aye aye!" She exclaimed, instantly going to get changed, dodging a few people along the way and almost running into the locker room door straight on like a complete doofus.

It took her a little longer than Katori due to her trying to find a spot in the locker room without too many people. As excited as she was, Kaoru was still super modest and rather shy. She got dressed as quickly as her nerves allowed her to, showing up a few minutes later sporting a classic white leotard, as well as white wrist tape and boots.

Joining Katori ringside, Kaoru prompted her to get in, sliding under the bottom and starting to jump and skip all over the ring, looking over at Katori. "Lets goooooo! I cant wait anymore!" She exclaimed, definitely looking... ready? It might've been only a few minutes since they met, but the very fact that Katori had agreed to join her in the ring - a place where Kaoru felt most comfortable - told her a lot about her blue haired acquaintance.

Just when Katori turned towards the locker room to go change, Kaoru hits on the gas peddle and dashes way ahead of her into it at full speed. It caused the former Wrestle Angel to pause as she looks on wide eyed before awkwardly chuckling again. "Okay, she has TOO much energy there." Katori said to herself with an amused expression as she went into the locker room to change.

After getting changed, the Mighty Successor was surprised to not see the ball of energy here first. "Huh, you'd think she'd get here before me with how fast she went." Not that long after saying that, Katori looks behind her, seeing Kaoru running out of the locker room in a white leotard that honestly fits her very well. The blunette woman was about to say something to her, but the girl was already in the ring in an instant and running around it like a child on a playground with her prompting Katori to join her. 'Never mind, she has WAY TOO MUCH more energy.' Katori thought to herself as she climbed up the apron of the ring before slipping in between the ropes to get in.

"Okay okay, I'm in now. Be careful not to burn yourself out, Kaoru-chan." Katori says as she walks over close to the center of the ring. "But first, need to start this right." She starts as, and hopefully if her sparring opponent is standing in front of her, she holds her hand out to Kaoru offering a handshake. "And I haven't gotten the chance to introduce myself yet. I'm Katori Kimura, let's have a good spar." The angel says as she waits for Kaoru to accept the handshake.

Kaoru was quite the enthusiastic one. At least when she got on a roll. Since Katori was being so nice to her, she was allowed to let herself go, and her natural, playful personality was slowly coming out. Well, barging through the door, more like it. She bounced up and down inside the ring, a few people turning their heads to see the small japanese woman getting all riled up. Once she was in the ring, she could only focus on what was right in front of her, and that was her sparring partner and opponent for the day, Katori.

Of course, she didnt forget her manners, and the part of her that loves making friends pulled up on her cheeks to bring a big smile to Kaoru's lips. She accepted her opponent's handshake excitedly, giving that hand a firm squeeze and a solid shake. "It's so nice to meet you, Katori-chan!" She couldnt hide the excitement in her voice whatsoever. "Lets have a good one, hai!" She nodded before taking a few steps back, approaching her own corner and going into a bit of a crouch, grabbing onto the top rope on her right with her right hand, tugging on it a bit, waiting for a signal to begin from Katori.

Katori noticed how her energetic sparring partner was causing a scene, seeing how some competitors were looking over in their general direction to see what was going on. But all her time wrestling in Wrestle Angels got her used to the stares of onlookers and didn't bother her and instead focused on what's in front of her. A wide smile came to Katori's face when Kaoru accepted her handshake, feeling how firm and solid it was, as it told her that the girl was strong.

After they broke up the handshake, both girls backed off to their corners and got themselves ready for the spar. Katori did a few more stretches while Kaoru tugged on the ropes, after the stretches the angel will bring a hand up and start counting down. "Three, two, one. Ding ding ding." She let out as Katori pushed out of her corner and started to circle the energetic girl in a stance. She'll soon raise a hand up towards Kaoru, inviting her to start the spar right with a Test of Strength.

Kaoru was all in for this. Hell, she requested it! Her very first bit of action in LAW... with an opponent right across the ring. It was the same as it always was, but different. It was hard to explain, but being here was getting Kaoru super pumped. Katori's instructions were clear, nodding her head and getting into stance as the countdown began. Once her opponent reached the 'ding' part, the black haired girl was gone from her corner.

Indeed, she stepped towards the center of the ring with her hands up and fingers ready for that test of strength. Kaoru engaged in the competition with her opponent, their fingers entwining before she abruptly begins pushing against the blue haired girl, planting her feet on the ground and fiercely trying to force her back! That was Kaoru's signature - going in strong from the very start. "G-grrr! No holding back, I'll notice!"

The sparring match between Katori and Kaoru has started and both girls are in the game with energy and confidence, the latter having much more than the former, but it's still going to be a fun little spar regardless. After the commotion that Kaoru caused, some of the onlookers came closer to watch the spar to see how it goes. Which certainly helped give Katori a feel as if it was a somewhat official match, and motivated the Mighty Successor to further do her best to give the onlookers a good show, but will be careful not to overdo it in the gym.

Katori had held her hand out to invite the feisty girl into a Test of Strength, which she accepted with no hesitation, immediately clamping their hands together as Kaoru already started to push against the Angel. "Whoa, someone is really eager." Katori let out with amusement as she looked Kaoru in the eyes with an excited smirk on her face as she listened to what she said. "I'll give you enough to make this feel like a challenge for sure!" She responds with as she plants and braces her feet on the ring mat, putting all she has into pushing Kaoru back and get ground against her.
