Megumi Mutoh vs. Toshimi Minami - The Clash of Angels

Draping herself over Toshimi, Megumi went for the pin as the referee did the count next to them. As expected, right at two, Toshimi kicked out, stopping the count. Huffing out, Megumi would get herself up, grabbing Toshimi with her as she would pull her up as well. Right after making Toshimi stand on her feet, Megumi would then begin her attack, trying to smash her forearm into her opponent's chest, hoping to knock some fight out of the Venus of Submission.

Megumi had been changing gear, shifting from submissions to strikes. She needed to wear down Toshimi first before she could move on to something more devastating, and she had one particular move in her mind in order to deal some tremendous damages on her senior. So, that was why she aimed to at least plant three forearm smashes into Toshimi's chest, with each of them stiff and vicious as she hoped to leave her opponent dazed and winded.

Toshimi still felt a bit groggy after the attacks to her head and then the drop that she had taken, that she wasn't all that much trouble in getting up towards her feet, Megumi quite easily managed to pull the Venus of Submission up to a stand, but that was where the purple clad woman would put a stop to things, As Megumi shot that forearm forward, Toshimi would try and spin around, pivoting as she would try and catch the arm, looking to bring her legs in and sweep Megumi's out from under her.

She tried to get Megumi down onto her front in a surprise maneuver where she would try and lay herself down on Megumi's shoulder and start to bend that arm in a classic Fujiwara armbar. Looking to cause as much pain as she could to Megumi Mutoh's limb.

One thing that Megumi had to remember about Toshimi was that getting close to her was absolutely risky due to her being capable of turning things around in a blink of an eye, and before she knew it, she got herself trapped in a submission hold. And what Toshimi did to her just now was a painful reminder of this as her forearm was caught by Toshimi before the Venus of Submission brought her down into the mat, and Megumi landed onto her front.

"Uughhh!!"

And to finish the setup, Toshimi then trapped her in a Fujiwara armbar, which put Megumi's shoulder under strain. "Aaahhhhh!!!" She cried out in pain as her senior placed her in the painful hold. Her mind was still rattled from the sudden reversal, and the pain made it hard to focus and come up with an escape plan. So, all she could do at the moment was to struggle helplessly in the hold, kicking her legs in frustration as she let out a wail of pain. Truly, fighting Toshimi made her feel like a rookie all over again.

Toshimi Minami was quite surprised how skilled Megumi had gotten since the last time they squared off in the ring, but that didn't meant that she was going to let Megumi do as she pleased. As in every match, the Iron Maiden came in with the mindset that her opponent was a worthy opponent and always gave her all. To her it didn't matter if she stomped her opponent or if she was stomped. As long as she did everything in her power in ever match she was in. Which was why Megumi was having such a rough go at it right now.

The cold acting Venus of Submission had locked in the painful Fujiwara armbar and was currently wrenching and turning that arm and shoulder in a painful manner, as if she was trying to rip that arm off of the red clad fighter's body. Torquing that arm over and around as she continued the painful submission hold. The crowd clearly starting to cheer for the plucky young Combat Genius to find her way free of this hold.

Crying out in pain as she was locked in the Fujiwara armbar, Megumi was trying to fight through the pain. She knew that it's either that she found a way out of this or that she had to submit to her opponent. She refused to do the latter but she wasn't sure if she could accomplish the former. Still struggling in the hold, Megumi had no other choice but to make use of her remaining arm to drag herself as well as her opponent towards the nearest ropes in order to give herself a rope break.

"Nnghhhh!! Rrgghhh!!!" Grunting out in exertion, Megumi would start moving, albeit slowly and painfully, towards the ropes. She knew that her time was running out, and she couldn't afford to stay in the hold for much longer. She could only endure the pain for so long, so she was hoping to free herself from this hold via a rope break. With determination etched on her face, she would force herself to move, refusing to give up for the time being. She would show it to Toshimi that she had improved quite greatly since the last time they met each other in the ring.

Toshimi would narrow her eyes as she saw how Megumi was fighting her way towards the ropes. She knew that this hold wasn't going to stay locked in for long, when those ropes were grabbed by the Combat Genius, the Iron Maiden would be forced to give up that hold. Though until then she could work over that arm as much as possible.

The Raven Haired cold beauty would keep her hold of that Fujiwara armbar, and start to wrench even more on that arm, as if she was trying to pull it out of it's socket. The Venus of Submission didn't have long, so she would have to be as brutal as she could in this hold while she had it locked in. Megumi fought her way towards the ropes and after a few more seconds of torment her hand would grab at the bottom ropes. Toshimi got to hear the ref demand her to release the woman and even started a count. After a count of two she released Megumi and would rise up to her feet, her left hand moving up to flick back a few strands of hair as she backed up, looking on at Megumi with cold yet intense eyes.

Even as Megumi struggled to reach the ropes, Toshimi continued to wrench her arm in the hold, refusing to let her go until Megumi finally grabbed the bottom rope, earning her a rope break. Even then, Toshimi didn't release the hold immediately, waiting for two counts before freeing Megumi from the hold. Groaning in pain, Megumi panted and wheezed, feeling her strength drained out of her thanks to Toshimi's deadly hold.

"Haa... uughh..." Rolling her shoulder in order to ease the pain, Megumi would pull herself back up with the help of the ropes, looking to get herself back on her feet as quickly as possible. She was well aware of the fact that Toshimi Minami was a very formidable opponent, and from the way she handled Megumi earlier had proven that thinking otherwise would be a folly. Still, Megumi refused to lose to Toshimi, knowing that she had it in her to take her down.

Toshimi would nod her head as she watched Megumi start to pull herself up towards her feet with the help of the ropes. The brunette was a tough young thing, there was no doubt about it. Megumi was one filled with a whole lot of heart, and Toshimi did respect that. She gave Megumi the chance to get all the way up towards her feet and even allowed her to leave the ropes .

Though she respected the red leotard clad woman more than enough to realize that the second that hand let go of the ropes, she needed to attack. Trying to dash in at full speed, the Venus of Submission quickly tried to shift her focus, away from that hurting arm to Megumi's right leg. Trying to dive in and wrap her arms around Megumi's thigh.

Trying to then lift her up and unbalance Megumi before trying to tip her down onto her side on the mat, where Toshimi would quickly try and wrap her legs around that leg of Megumi, trying to scissor it while then trying to pull Megumi's shin under her right armpit, trying to lock in a swift kneebar attempt on Megumi Mutoh. Though at least to the combat genius graces she was quite close to the ropes.

Pulling herself back up onto her feet with the help of the ropes, Megumi kept her eyes on Toshimi, trying to ascertain what she would do next. The Venus of Submission was as dangerous as before, if not more, and the Combat Genius would try to think of what to do next as she would take her time recovering at the ropes. A few seconds later, she would step away from the ropes, looking to clash with Toshimi once again to see if she could take on the Venus of Submission this time.

Then, she saw Toshimi darting towards her, aiming for Megumi's right leg. Widening her eyes, Megumi tried to move back, but her opponent was too fast and she ended up being brought down into the mat. Before she could realize it, Toshimi had locked her in a kneebar, causing tension on the affected area. The pain caused Megumi to cry out in pain, throwing her head back as she clutched onto a handful of her own hair with both her hands in order to soldier through the pain.

"Gaahhhhh!!!" Megumi cried out. Still, it wouldn't take her long to realize that she was still quite close to the ropes. In desperation, Megumi would quickly try to move back, holding out her hand in hope to reach for the bottom rope, once again looking to get a rope break in order to be released from this painful hold that Toshimi was subjecting her to.

[Devastated]

Toshimi would watch as closely on Megumi's face as she snapped her into that kneebar after she had downed her. She would try and bend and wrench that knee of the combat genius, as she sought to cause her as much pain as possible. Seeing Megumi start to reach out for the rope though...Toshimi would try and do something a little different.

As Megumi tried to reach for the ropes, she would try and pull her a few steps back! Trying to get her another arms-length away from the ropes. Where Toshimi would then try and turn and roll Megumi Mutoh over onto her front. Still keeping her holds on that leg, but no longer having it in a kneebar. She'd instead try to snap her legs around that shin of Megumi.

Dropping onto Megumi's side she'd try to slide her right arm in under the woman's chin and neck, trying to grab a hold of her own wrist with her other hand. Aiming to try and lock in one of the most deadly finishers on the Combat Genius, the Neo Sazan Cross-Lock.
