The arena got dark and the crowd murmured for the arrival of a new debuting performer. All of a sudden, The Pretty Reckless' "Sweet Things" started to play as a spotlight shone on the new addition to the roster. All that could be seen was her back. Her muscles were extremely toned, but slender, and slowly she turned, a war fan covering the bottom half of her face. Then she lowered it to reveal a mask, and she started to walk down the ring, twirling dual war fans at her side, the only thing on her mind the match up she would be having. The fans were outright ignored, and when she got to the apron of the ring, she leaped on it, then vaulted over the top rope in an impressive display of athleticism. The Japanese wrestler then twirled her fans in a rather elaborate display, seeming very practiced with them, before striking a pose, ending with a bow. Then, with a flick of her wrists, both war fans closed and the lights came back, revealing her to the crowd.

"The Twilight Edge" Toshiko Ito had arrived. Typically, she didn't like such showy displays of her talent, but she felt it was necessary to let both the audience and her upcoming opponent know just how talented she was. It would provide her with further opportunities in the future if she could impress. And while Toshiko wasn't in the business of impressing people, she wanted victory, above all else. She had a small outfit on, not to show off, but to provide her with less resistance when she performed. She had a mask to make her more difficult to see her intentions. And taking one look at her eyes would show that Toshiko did, in fact, have a look that made people uncertainty. Toshiko liked it that way.

Ito settled on the opposite end of the ring from the entrance and stared out, waiting for her opponent and doing stretches, her eyes fixed and hardened on the entrance. She would be looking forward to decimating whoever would step out to face her, although such excitement would be difficult to tell with her posture and expression.

A Knockout match was one she knew was going to be tough. It was one thing to beat an opponent, it was another to render them unable to answer a count or even worse, render them unconscious completely. Either way it was going to test her endurance in the face of a tough opponent which this Toshiko seemed to be in every aspect, though Grace wasnt about to let herself be intimidated by the likes of her and she still had a lot to offer if she was going to start making some serious progress on LAW.

Grace's music plays and the tall and proud women marches out to the ring, smiling off to the crowd in attendance while shaking hands with some of the lucky front row fans. One of the perks of being a wrestler was fan interaction and Grace never missed a chance to chat with them. Though once she was in the ring she was all busniness observing her foe and offering her a respectful hand to shake.

Toshiko stared at her opponent as she walked down to the ring. She seemed to be smiling at the crowd and interacting with them, which was quite a bit he contrast to her. Ito tilted her head briefly at the jovial mood that Grace seemed to be in. She was about to go to war with her, and she knew that after Grace was to compete against the Twilight Edge, she would not be smiling nearly as much. In a squated position, watching as her opponent entered the ring.

Finally, Toshiko stood up and walked up to Grace. She looked up to her, as she was taller than her by a good margin, with no semblance of fear or nervousness in her eyes. Then, Grace stuck out her hand for her to shake. Toshiko casually glanced at the hand, then looked back up at Grace with the same expression on her face. The Japanese performer then suddenly went to strike at Kenning's hand with a spinning back fist, and after spinning the whole way, she would go for a side kick to Grace's chest. The move wasn't meant to hurt her so much as provide her with a firm response to her attempt at shaking her hand. After performing the maneuver, she would then turn and walk away to her corner.

Toshiko would then cross her arms, facing the turnbuckle as she awaited the start of the match. When the bell rang, Toshiko still stood in the corner, making no intent to approach her opponent at all and keeping her back to her bigger opponent.

Grace's hand didnt meet the simplest of greetings, instead of another friendly hand she was met with a wordless strike from Toshiko who spun all the way and attempted to send a kick into her side. Grace's hands came up and blocked the move as best as possible after being surprised as she looked at the women who marched off. Was she offended by her gesture?

"Shouldnt be too surprised, this is the kindof behavior Im trying to quell." Grace said streatching her arms as she backed up as well, annoyed at her little trick and the fact that she was going to be dealing with her attitude all throughout the match. On the brightside it made the thought of knocking her unconcious much easier to deal with.

Toshiko was willing to let her opponent have the first strike when Grace actually spoke out against her behavior. She paused, looking contemplative, then she turned and walked straight towards her future foe, her posture looking as though she was not about to attack her in any way, and she narrowed her gaze at the girl.

"You wish to quell what behavior exactly? Explain yourself," she spoke the words as more of a command than a question of sorts. Though it would be difficult to tell due to her relatively intense disposition and the fact that half of her face was shrouded, but the Japanese wrestler was actually quite interested in hearing more about Grace's set of morals she was attempting to express. Ito's arms folded over her own chest as she looked up at her, seemingly non-plussed about standing within striking range of her opponent after the match had officially started.

When the women finally spoke she didnt exactly say anything she expected. grace was figuring her for someone who would have gone for an immediate insult, especially after knocking her hand away like that, instead the women got closer to her and tried to get her to explain her words. In a rather demanding tone but still, it was a bit of a contrast to Grace's initial assumption.

"The arrogant and lack of respect attitude that many here seem to inhabit. Its one thing to fight people in battle, its naother to resort to cheap tricks or hurt people simply because you can." Grace replied simply enough her hands remaining up, as Toshiko got close Grace was wary of her attempting to try anything that might register as an attack.

Toshiko kept her arms folded over her chest as she listened to Grace's explanation. She noted her defensive posture briefly, then continued to look at her face as she spoke. She waited a beat before letting out a profound scoff. The masked wrestler closed her eyes as she made her response. "Do not speak to me as if you know a single thing about battle. If I lacked the respect for you and wanted to use cheap tricks, you would already be unconscious," stated Toshiko rather matter-of-factly. She then opened her eyes and glared at her opponent and said in a more stern voice, "If you wish to lead a crusade or take up a cause, then you should first find one work standing behind and, more importantly, know your opponent before doing a meaningless gesture like a handshake."

The Twilight Edge then stepped back and shifted into a more traditional martial arts stance, looking up at Grace, having said her peace on the subject and was ready to fight. "If you dare, you may strike first," said Toshiko in a neutral tone. She was ready for the fight and testing the mettle of her taller foe.

"You must be confused..you do know this isn't my first time between these ropes. Nor is it my first time in a fight, so yes I DO know something about battle. Also 'know my opponent' doesnt really work when there nothing to go on about you. LAW files aren't common knowledge so this is literally the first instance I could have know anything about you." Grace said her stance remaining defensive all throughout for the first instance of Toshiko might strike. One never came and instead the women demanded Grace make the first move.

"Pass. Ill let the new girl show her stuff first." Grace said watching the women with fierce eyes as she wanted to see what she was capable of. And to judge her best means of defense against her in the long run.

Although it would be difficult to tell, Toshiko began to become annoyed by her opponent, for what seemed like multiple reasons now. But she first started by speaking back to her bluntly. "You can know about fighting while being ignorant of battle. And if you do not know anything about me, do not speak about me and make yourself a fool." The azure warrior narrowed her gaze more intently at Grace, following up with another word. "Your hesitance to strike may well be your downfall in this match. Prepare." The Japanese woman tackled on the final word as nothing more than a parting remark, knowing full well that this girl would not truly know how to prepare for her.

But without another word, Toshiko took a step forward and then performed a lightning fast spin into what looked like a shoulder thrust, but at the very last moment, The Twilight Edge would duck down and throw her elbow towards the stomach of Grace. If successful, she would then use her deceptive strength to quickly transition to a just throw over her shoulder. Ito wanted to make a proper impact at the start of this match, also hoping to make her point to the taller girl.

"Dont speak about you..right. While you continue to presume I know nothing of battle despite knowing nothing about me..uhuh sure.." Grace said equally annoyed by this women's arrogance for someone whos been here a breath of the time she has. Wouldnt matter since the match would finally be starting and the two could see how the other reacts that way. Giving her the first go of it Toshiko took the chance and struck, charging at her with the speed that Grace somewhat expected given how she was built though when she was preparing for ht shoulder tackle she was suddenly surprised by the women's feint, while it didnt change up the offense she thought she was going for too much she found herself still being surprised by the women's elbow striking her stomach.

"Ugghh!" Grace's abs were firm enough that they took the hit with little complication but as she felt Toshiko trying to lift her from that position she took this chance to act. Her hands came up one to try and grab her face a little and the other to throw a punch around her arm to prevent herself from being casually tossed about by arrogant new gal.
