Things were going well for Cecilia thus far, she thought to herself as she got herself ready, pulling her boots onto her feet before she struck a pose in the mirror to make sure that everything was in place. A grin crept to her lips at the sight, as she thought about the match she was right about to go into. Oh yes, this was going to be fun. Apparently, they had booked her for the debut match of some new girl, no doubt some hopeless wet-behind-the-ears rookie who had no idea what she was up for. Some wrestlers would be told to go easy on the newcomers to get them over in the eyes of the crowd and to showcase their talent to help them go farther. Not Cecilia. As far as she was concerned, a newcomer was a potential threat, and one she needed to beat down as soon as possible to prove that any attempts to take her on were hopeless. She'd sent plenty of young hopefuls crying back home, never to challenge her again. And that was just how she liked it. She had a reputation to uphold, and anyone else hardly mattered beyond being a stepping stone to her excellence.

"Now, coming first to the ring, from Detroit, Michigan! CECILIA LOMBARD!!

Greeted by a chorus of boos, Cecilia started to make her way to the ring, a cold glare on her face as she responded to their invective with a single middle finger raised to the crowd. As she reached the ring apron she put a leg up on it and grabbed the ropes, hoisting herself into the ring before crossing to the other side, where she did a few stretches, pulling her head to the side and letting the joints in her neck pop and crack in the hopes of unnerving anyone that might stand against her. After she had taken the time to limber up, Cecilia tied her hair into her signature side ponytail, then leaned back against the ropes, waiting on her opponent to make her first entrance.

Soon after Cecilia was done making her entrance, the lights in the arena dimmed a little as the entrance was covered in fog. Then, an eerie piano solo was played, which piqued the interest of the crowd. Soon, when the song reached its crescendo as a guitar riff was played, a silhouette appeared within the fog before a petite young woman clad in a rather unique outfit stepped out.

"And now, introducing... from the Valley of Darkness of Parts Unknown! VAMP SUZUMORI!!!"

Strutting down the ramp in confident manner, Vamp Suzumori steadily gained supporters and fans as she made her way to the ring where her opponent, Cecilia, was waiting. There was something about this particular young woman that piqued the interest of the people here, and from the way she presented herself, it's not hard to imagine why.

When she finally reached the ring, Vamp climbed up the apron, entering the squared circle. Looking straight at the girl before her, she smirked confidently, thinking that she could take her on. "So... are you going to be my sacrifice for tonight?" She said, making quite a theatrical gesture as she spoke to her opponent for the night.

Cecilia had to stop and acknowledge the theatrics as fog rolled in around the entrance ramp and the music built, raising an eyebrow. For some no-name rookie who was surely going down without any trouble, this girl certainly knew how to make an entrance. Definitely more memorable than some of the women Cecilia had faced in the past. She almost felt bad that all these production values had to be wasted on someone so worthless. Almost.

But that effect was ruined when Cecilia's opponent emerged from the mist, and the brunette got a good look at who she was facing. She was small. Cute. A total dork, if the vampire gimmick was any indication. She had to roll her eyes when she saw how the fans were eating it up, and she could already see how it was now. Vamp must clearly use her overblown presentation to cover for her lack of talent, Cecilia thought; certainly she didn't look all that tough. At any rate, by the time this match was through, she hoped to teach the girl a lesson about substance over style, and how her lame goth act wouldn't get her anywhere.

"Oh, please," Cecilia said with a scoff as she crossed her arms. "I think you're lost, little girl. This is a wrestling ring, not a tea party. I'm going to give you one chance to cut the crap and admit you're out of your league, or am I going to have to snap your spine in order for you to learn that a match with me is no time for silly games?"

Vamp scowled when her opponent seemed to be unimpressed by her breathtaking entrance. She tried her best to not show her childish side to her opponent, but she couldn't help but puff up her cheeks, looking insulted by the lack of respect by her opponent. But she quickly regained her poise, crossing her arms under her modest chest as she sneered at Cecilia. "Oho? It seems that my opponent for tonight is an unenlightened plebeian. A pity, because I expected something more from my first conquest in this promotion..."

Taking the initiative before the situation could escalate, the referee would move between them, keeping them from going towards each other before the match could begin. She would call the two of them to the center of the ring, giving a brief explanation about the rules before checking them whether they had any concealed weapons hidden in their outfits. Once both fighters were ready, the referee would call for the bell, starting the match between Vamp and Cecilia.

Smirking, Vamp would get into position, eyes fixed on Cecilia as she prepared herself to clash with her opponent. First, she needed to ascertain her opponent's strength, but for the time being, she would keep her distance, waiting for her opponent to make her first move.

So, she even talked like a failed actor too. If this was supposed to impress Cecilia, it sure wasn't working; if anything, it was just making her even more embarrassed to share a ring with such an idiot. She rolled her eyes at the comment. "Yeah, yeah, sure. Let's just get on with it. I'm waiting to crush you like the bug you are, and all you're doing is holding that up."

Before Vamp could do anything, the ref got in between them, breaking them apart before they launched into their bout prematurely. Cecilia was almost disappointed by this; she had been waiting to give this pretender a good piece of her mind. But she wouldn't have to be postponed for very long, as soon the bell sounded. On cue, Cecilia rolled the kinks out of her neck before getting into a stance, fixing her gaze on Vamp and studying her closely to try and predict her movements. A smirk crossed her face, one that she hoped her opponent picked up on. If all went well, she would be able to start intimidating her foe before she opened up the match, throwing a forearm straight for her face as she lunged closer.

Watching her opponent's movement, Vamp would also close in, hoping to be the one to attack first, but Cecilia managed to beat her to the punch by landing a forearm smash to her face. "Ughh!" Vamp grunted as her head whipped aside from the blow. Planting her feet on the mat, she stopped herself from staggering back as she would regain her footing.

Scowling, Vamp bared her sharpened canines (which were actually fake, by the way) before she decided to retaliate by attempting to deliver an European uppercut right under Cecilia's chin. She made use of her own motion to empower the blow, which would certainly make the attack more powerful than normal.

The match was opening to a strong start, as Cecilia secured the first blow, landing a solid punch straight for Vamp's face. Seeing the smaller woman's head crack back, a smile crept over her lip. If that was all she could do, this wouldn't be hard at all - it probably wouldn't be long before she got her crying and begging for mercy.

But as the two let the dust clear, Cecilia noticed that Vamp was smiling back. That caused the brunette to raise an eyebrow, and not just from seeing her sharpened teeth - either she was actually stupid enough to wear plastic vampire fangs in public, or she had the dedication to get them filed, but Cecilia was more apt to assume the former. Either way, it looked like the blow didn't hold Vamp back as much as Cecilia thought it did - and before she could react, she saw her suspicions confirmed, as Vamp lashed out with an uppercut hard to her jaw. With her own head cracking backwards, Cecilia groaned in pain, reaching to cup her aching chin.

Hitting Cecilia's chin with an European uppercut, Vamp looked at her opponent, who seemed to be reeling from the strike. Seeing her opportunity to keep up with her momentum, the petite vampire enthusiast would launch herself forward, extending her arm out in order to hit Cecilia with a sudden clothesline.

"Dooryaahhh!!!" Vamp let out a rather inelegant, unfeminine and quite hot-blooded battle-cry as she would try to land the clothesline. Just like her uppercut earlier, she made use of her own momentum to empower the strike, which she hoped would take quite a lot out of her opponent.

As she tried to rub the pain out of her mandible, Cecilia growled at her opponent in frustration, narrowing her eyes towards the girl. For a shrimp and a failed thespian, she hit hard, way too hard for someone with such an absurd gimmick, she thought. The brunette spat at the ground, trying to make a show of her disrespect.

But all the while, Vamp wasn't letting up, and she kept up her assault. She charged for Cecilia with a clothesline, and with the ice-bitch still reeling from the last blow, she would have no choice but to eat this one. With a groan, Cecilia was thrown back off her feet and came crashing to the ground below, landing on her rear.

Charging towards Cecilia, Vamp managed to land her clothesline, which brought her opponent down onto her rear. This gave Vamp another opportunity to land more strikes as she would keep up with her momentum, going to the ropes and rebounding from them in order to return back to where Cecilia was. Seeing that Cecilia was sitting on the mat, Vamp decided to target her opponent's head, and there was one particular attack that she would like to try out.

"Aaand take another one!!" Vamp let out yet another inelegant battle cry as she would come over to where Cecilia was, planting a foot on the mat before pivoting. She would make use of the force of her spinning to deliver a spinning heel kick right into the side of Cecilia's head, looking to have her disoriented and dizzied, which would certainly give Vamp more opportunity to attack later on.
