Micaiah Wilson vs. Doctor Fabulous - No Cure For the Wicked

Getting back on her feet, Micaiah would watch Doctor Fabulous warily, knowing that her opponent was dangerous despite her sugary disposition. Once she was on her feet, she huffed as she was done nursing her jaw. She would take a stance, eyes fixed on her opponent before her. "I don't know what you're playing here, but if you're playing dumb, you better stop it..." Micaiah grumbled, looking a little annoyed at her opponent. If the peppy attitude of her opponent was something to mask the other woman's true personality, then she would feel irked for being underestimated like that.

Now that she was prepared for another clash, Micaiah would close in towards Doctor Fabulous again, seemingly trying to lock up with her once more. But as she got closer, she would immediately abandon her plan to grapple with her opponent as she would throw a sudden haymaker, aiming her fist right at that pretty face of the woman before her.

The Doctor had to giggle at Micaiah's comment and absolutely could not help herself from responding to her. "That's so funny, because I usually struggle to play smart," she answered, looking totally amused. She never had a problem with self-depreciating humor. But she noticed that Micaiah was approaching her and trying to go for a test of strength. Fortunately, the time and set up afforded her the opportunity to think about it. Micaiah was practiced enough to not just try the same thing twice, especially when the Doctor was proving she could be tricky. It had to be a feint on her end. With the time to plan, Doc Fab studied her opponent, inching her hands up to lock up, but then immediately put up her guard when she saw it. The speed that Micaiah punched with was shocking though, and even when she put her guard up, the force of it was enough that Doctor Fabulous had to turn her head to avoid even her arms from smacking back into her face.

Fabulous looked shocked and hopped back, before settling back into her happy demeanor. "That was impressive! You almost had me!" said the psychiatrist. In all actuality, it was a good learning experience. She wasn't much of a brawler though, but she knew enough to know she should not allow herself to get hit, and she should not try to match fists with her. "I can't wait to see you trying harder," she teased. The doctor stepped forward, her guard up, and then she would suddenly drop to her knees and try for a swift fireman's carry. If successful, Doc Fab would try to transition that into an arm lock hold.

Of course she was able to see that! Why would she think otherwise? Micaiah growled as her opponent managed to stop the incoming punch. She drew her hand back, ready to launch her next attack, but Doctor Fabulous had already made her move, setting her up for a fireman's carry. "Aaahh!" Micaiah yelped when she was lifted up onto her opponent's shoulders, and she had to silently curse herself for her inability to see this one coming.

"Y-you... p-put me down!" Micaiah yelled as she would try to hammer her forearm right into the side of Doctor Fabulous' head, hoping that the blow would stun her for a while, which would allow her to free herself from this current predicament of hers.

Doctor Fabulous felt pretty good about the beginnings of this match. She had managed to duck the next attack and brought Micaiah onto her shoulders for a fireman's carry. She was about to drop the girl and follow up, having a smile on her face. That is, until Micaiah hammered her in the side of the head. Fab winced and then dropped the brunette gingerly back onto her feet. The move had stunned her enough to drop her, but not enough to keep her from trying to follow up with another offensive maneuver. The blond backpedaled slightly, shaking her head clear and then gave Micaiah a coy wink, waving her towards her.

The hope was that Micaiah would come at her again. She had managed to fluster her enough in the early goings, and perhaps she could still convince Micaiah to charge in. The doctor could tell Micaiah still didn't seem like she knew what to make of her, and if she predicted right, she had every intention to drop down for a drop toe hold. And if she could succeed in that, she'd roll over onto her opponent's back to lock on a snug hammerlock. It was about having control in the early going, and going at her own pace.

Thanks to her strike, Micaiah managed to land on her feet after being released from the fireman's carry. Grunting, she looked at Doctor Fabulous to see what she would do next, and she couldn't help but groan in frustration upon seeing how nonchalant her sugary opponent was.

"Raahhh!!" Micaiah would charge towards Doctor Fabulous, looking to hit her with a strike, but her opponent had already prepared for her as she dropped her down into the mat with a drop toe hold. "Aaahh!!" Micaiah yelped as she landed onto her chest. "Ugghh..." Grunting, Micaiah then ended up being subjected to a hammerlock, eliciting a cry of pain from the Canadian grappler. "Aaarghhh!!!" Things didn't look too good for Micaiah at the moment, with Doctor Fabulous controlling the match so far.

Success! Doc Fab brought down Micaiah and then straddled her back. She wrenched that arm and made the hold very snug. She knew what she was doing when it came to things like this. The blonde then leaned down to press her weight on the brunette. The doctor whipped her head to the side to get her blond hair out of her face and then smiled. She had her right where she wanted her. She smiled, confident and poised to make her next move.

Doctor Fabulous leaned in closer, making the hold even more snug and she went forward with her next move. "Micaiah..." she started, her voice more serious than before. Then, she did it. "Why do you smoke when you hold a job in something that requires a great deal of cardio? No judgment, I'm just... curious." There was no move or follow up attack. The psychiatrist just had a simple question. She could sense the faint smell of smoke on Micaiah when she brought her down and got close, something her nose was trained to notice. And curious as ever, she just wanted a simple answer to her inquiry to learn a little bit more about her opponent.

Just normal psychiatric wrestler things.

Micaiah grunted in pain as her opponent put her in a painful hammerlock. "Erghh..." And then, she heard Doctor Fabulous talking to her,and she was caught off-guard for a few seconds by the question that her opponent had given to her. But, she regained her bearing and scowled, thinking that her opponent might be screwing with her.

"S-so what?! I-it's none of your business, y-you marshmallow!!" Micaiah barked, trying to break free from her current predicament. She didn't care about what her opponent was trying to do here, and all she wanted was winning this match and nothing else.

Due to the Doctor's current leverage on Micaiah, her moving and writhing seemed to be futile. If anything, the fighting only made Doc Fab tighten the hold even more. It was a hold meant to wear down the arm, but more keep control. The blond merely smiled the whole time, but kept speaking in an even, sincere tone. "Micaiah, your name calling is noted, and I'm sure there are other places and ways that we can have this conversation, so that's why I'm not noting your annoyance at this moment, but I just felt it was important to bring up. It seems like a conflict, and I won't tell you that you have to stop smoking, but it might help with your obvious irritation issues. I know many good, healthy ways to quit and although I'm still very skeptical about hypnotists, I do know a few who have had success in helping people to quit smoking."

It was a highly odd sight to see someone discuss the merits and solutions to smoking while mounted on top of another woman in a basic hold in a wrestling ring, but that didn't seem to stop the doctor or even phase her. But then she smiled even brighter and said, "That's all though. Think it over. And I'll even let you go, but you need to promise to me you will go about this match civilly once we both get up. Do you promise?" She asked the words in a patient tone, actually serious about having a good, civil fight. It was her hope that Micaiah would listen. If not, it would open Doctor Fabulous up to take more advantage of Micaiah's anger and give her more to mentally dissect about her.

Micaiah was getting more and more irritated at the seemingly patronizing manner that this particular opponent had shown to her. Still, she was aware that her smoking habit wasn't exactly healthy, but that's none of her business. She just wanted this woman to stop bringing it up as she was focused more on winning this rather than having someone probing into her personal problems.

"Grr... f-fine, if this can stop you from talking, alright... t-this conversation has no place in the ring..." Micaiah growled, showing her irritation to this situation. As long as this woman could shut up, she didn't care what would happen after the match. She just wanted to win, simple as that. She had no ulterior motive other than winning.

Doctor Fabulous smiled contently at her opponent's response. She could tell she was annoyed, and understandably so, but Doc Fab thought it was highly important that she discuss (albeit one-sidedly) the issue of her smoking habit. In fairness, it was actually very inappropriate for the wrestling ring, but very fascinating to the psychiatrist. "You're probably right, actually. I apologize, Micaiah. Just remember my offer, okay?" answered Doc in a friendly manner. She then pat Micaiah on the shoulder before releasing the hammerlock and standing up, taking a few steps up and fixing her hair.

She then got into a defensive pose again and looked eager to compete once more, patiently waiting for Micaiah to get up, fairly. "I'm ready to get back to it if you are," she said. Doc Fabulous would stay on the defensive. It worked well for her, and she could usually make note of what her opponent would come at her with so she could perform yet another counter. The match had started off slow, but the Doctor always preferred that.
