What an asshole, Lucy was thinking as she heard the taunt from her opponent. Sadly she didn't have time to counter that taunt because the bluenette was busy with getting out of this pin. While she was in this hold it seemed like the crowd was going wild as they made pictures of her. No wonder, after all, Lucy wasn't the worst one who has ever set a foot into the ring.

Lucy, however, didn't want to stay for too long in this hold and started to twist her way out of this situation. Apparently, it was too much for Asuka and the blue-haired reached with her one hand the ropes. The moment Lucy touched the rope the ref intervened and pulled the blond woman away from her. Then Lucy would slowly lift herself up.

The small grasshopper had definitely some tricks up her sleeve and Lucy couldn't let her guard down even when she would be stronger than her. Still, since she was free again Lucy was able to finally reply to Asuka. Something she couldn't do before.
"Yes I am still feeling quite confident and that won't change so soon until you defeat me."

Then Lucy would get away from the ropes. The bluenette knew that Asuka was capable of a few things and rushing heedlessly into her would only cause the blue-haired woman more troubles than solving them. So Lucy would get into a grapple stance and slowly approach the blond woman again.

Asuka giggled and shook her head at Lucy's response, stepping back and forth in place at the center of the ring. "That won't take long, let me show you!" she'd throw back, gesturing with her hand for Lucy to come at her. Interestingly, Lucy actually did. More interestingly, Asuka maintained the distance, backing away just as quickly as Lucy approached until her back bumped into the opposite corner.

However, this was something Asuka had planned, and the small blonde climbed the ropes to stand right up on top of the corner post, keeping her smug smile and maintaining eye contact with Lucy all the while. At the top, she placed her hands on her hips and shrugged, as if to dare Lucy to get closer. And then, if she did, Asuka leapt forwards knees-first, looking to crash down onto Lucy and flatten her into the canvas with all of Asuka's body weight on top of her.

This Asuka was really confident. It was that kind of confident that slowly drifted into arrogance and then stayed there to grow into an arrogance that would make it just sweeter when the person would go down and realize that she underestimated her opponent but whatever.

Since Asuka was so sure of her skills the bluenette would just approach her slowly to not risk any surprises from the other woman. While she was going at the blond woman her opponent did the opposite. Just like a magnet that would repel from the other one Asuka would keep the distance and walk back with every step that Lucy would get closer. Lucy thought that this could just be a trap by Asuka considering that she was so confident before in herself.

As she was walking back more Asuka soon hit the corner. Instead of going away from it Asuka climbed up the corner post and taunted the bluenette. Well, you have to be a real idiot to fall for such an obvious trap but it was a good opportunity for Lucy to set her own trap. The bluenette walked wordlessly closer waiting for whatever this woman had in mind.

Then as the bluenette came closer her opponent leaped forward jumping straight into Lucy's direction. Like the bluenette thought. This was a set up for an aerial attack. Lucy would attempt to sidestep her opponent and letting Asuka hit the canvas beside her.
"Far too obvious."
Lucy would say and spin around with her body. Her leg would lift up and then the blue-haired woman would attempt to hit Asuka into her head with a spin kick.

Well, as it turned out, assuming your opponent is a complete idiot and planning an attack around that can completely backfire and make yourself look rather dumb instead. Asuka leapt from the top rope to try and flatten Lucy into the canvas, but the bluenette was fully expecting the very obvious aerial attack, and stepped sideways as soon as Asuka's feet left the ground, leaving the blonde high-flyer crashing down uncontrollably into the floor.

On the plus side, at least Asuka had remembered to wear her pads for this match, though she had never forgotten them before. Landing knees-first on the canvas, Asuka slid a short distance before coming to a halt, and then quickly spun while pushing up to her feet to try and find where Lucy was at before the girl could make a move.

But she had already made a move, and suddenly a boot collided with the side of Asuka's head, prompting her to yelp out in both surprise and pain, and forcing her to stagger backwards off-balance halfway across the ring.

Lucy was able to dodge this pretty obvious move from her opponent and making Asuka crash down into the canvas with her knees. If the blond didn't wear protection she had definitely felt that when she was older. With Asuka on the canvas now Lucy quickly adapted to the situation. She spun around and kicked the other woman into her head. She didn't get down immediately but Lucy's opponent staggered backward and it seemed like she was open for another attack now.

After her foot was down on the ground again Lucy would run at her opponent and then attempt to do a clothesline at Asuka's chest hoping this would get her down. When the blond woman would be down on the canvas the bluenette would try to stomp down onto the blonds belly a few times before going a few more steps away from Asuka and preparing her next move.

Asuka still hadn't found her balance by the time Lucy came to capitalise on her previous attack. She was pretty much helpless to do much more than bring her arms up to try and block Lucy's running clothesline, which really didn't make much of a difference besides making it hurt a little less. She was still flattened against the canvas, and Lucy still had the more advantageous position of standing.

Almost as soon as the impact wore off and Asuka realised what had happened, Lucy was standing over her with a foot raised up, and then brought it down hard onto Asuka's bare and unprotected belly, getting a loud "OONF!" out of her, and instinctively curling up in time for the second one, which gained an equally pained response. By the time the third stomp came, Asuka was ready to do something about it.

As Lucy's boot came down, Asuka's hands went up, catching her opponent by the ankle with one hand and the foot with the other, managing to deflect the stomp to an awkward angle, and giving a hard tug to drag Lucy down onto the canvas! Asuka would sit upright, attempt to cross Lucy's left leg over her right, drop her own legs over the top, and then lean back while stretching her trapped leg to lock in a figure four!

Lucy tried to be really fast and not giving her opponent any time to think. With a quick charge at Asuka Lucy delivered a clothesline. Sadly she blocked it but the result was the same. Even with having a part of the damaged block Asuka still suffered the aftermath of this attack and landed on the canvas. Since giving Asuka time to breath through was not the best thing to do the bluenette decided to make a follow-up an attack. With her foot, she stomped down on her opponent's belly.

Asuka showed a pretty good reaction to the stomps and Lucy hoped that this would stun her opponent for a bit. The blond woman proofed her however terribly wrong. Instead of taking the beating like a nice little girl Asuka grabbed her foot the third time it came crashing down on her.
"Shit!"
Lucy said pretty quietly so that the other woman wouldn't hear that this got her kinda uneased.

"Nyah."
With a cute sound, Lucy ended on her butt because of the blond. Lucy was stunned for a short and in this time Asuka set up a figure four leg lock. Then as Asuka leaned back Lucy would start to cry out from the pain in her leg. The move was really painful but the blue-haired woman would bite her teeth together and try to figure out a way out of this situation.
"Ahh...Kinda rough don't you think?"

"You seem like the kind of girl that likes it rough." Asuka would respond, in her usual teasing tone. The referee knelt beside the two lightweights, both to check whether Lucy wanted to tap, and to make sure Asuka wasn't doing anything illegal. Of course, Lucy didn't, and Asuka wasn't, so he mostly was silent. After a moment, Asuka leaned back further, starting to bend Lucy's foot and toes as best she could.

The crowd were quite focused and interested, partly because the two lightweights were rather nice to look at, and partly because it seemed as if an early submission might actually happen.

"Nghh"
Lucy wanted to reply but the pain in her leg got Lucy to focus on her leg and ignoring the other woman for a while. At least until she would reverse the situation and make the blond woman taste her own medicine. Until Lucy could however really think about revenge she had to get out first of the current position which was easier said than down even when the bluenette already had an idea.

While they were on the ground with Lucy groaned from the pain the ref came to the two women and see if everything was ok or if Lucy might want to give this fight up. This thought made the blue haired woman angry. There was no way Lucy would lose this match and definitely not that early. She would start to cry out in pain and put both her hands down on the canvas.

Then Lucy would attempt to roll over by pushing to the left side with her hands and her body. Lucy would try to get Asuka and herself on their stomachs. In this position, Lucy would be able to reverse the situation. If this would work the blue-haired woman would to pull her legs closer and putting the blond woman's legs in pain making her suffer.

Re: Lucy vs Asuka Hisashi

Hearing Lucy begin to howl with pain rather soon after locking in the hold was an encouraging thing for Asuka, as with most wrestlers. Lucy began desperately squirming and struggling to try and get her freedom, far more vigorously than she had been previously, prompting Asuka to tighten her hold and stretch the bluenette harder and harder in an effort to drive her to a submission.

Still crying out and screaming, Lucy stopped her struggling for a moment, which happened to be enough for Asuka to try and improve her own situation. The blonde loosened up the hold a little to try and shuffle forwards, hoping to get some extra leverage and put even more pain down on Lucy's legs; but did so at exactly the same time that Lucy gave a hard shove and twist upwards.

Without such a stable position as she had been in, Asuka was quickly rolled over and suddenly found herself doing the stretching. It happened so quickly that she didn't even realise what had happened until her thighs suddenly set ablaze with pain, and heard herself screaming. The pain was rather extreme, with Asuka quickly squirming in place and grasping at the canvas until the shock passed, and then desperately heaved herself slowly and painfully to the nearest set of ropes.

One arm fully extended, Asuka managed to just barely get her hand around the bottom rope, prompting the referee to quickly intervene. Rather than simply telling Lucy to break the hold, as standard, the referee physically broke the two wrestlers up, rolled Lucy onto her back, and then folded the bluenette's knees into her shoulders rather tightly, pinning her to the ground until Asuka was on her feet, and then released her.
