Melody and Domino - An Encounter in the Gym

Breathing heavily after planting Domino into the mat, Melody's eyes went towards the top rope, and then back at Drake. Melody considered the option of going onto the top rope to continue her assault on her opponent. On the one hand, it was very much possible for him to move out of the way. On the other? He got hit in the head twice in the span of 10 seconds. If that didn't keep him down for enough time to hit her move, she didn't know what would.

Quickly running towards and hopping onto the nearest turnbuckle, Melody would take a second, just a second sizing up Domino, before jumping off, twisting in the air, aiming to land on Drake's well-chiseled abs with a Swanton!

Domino continues lying there, working out his situation. He's fighting through a haze, and though his eyes may open, they can't focus on anything. He hears nothing - only silence. That's rarely a good sign in the ring. It usually means someone's in the air. But soon, he feels a vibration along the mat, and a dull thumping sound registers.

She's moving. Moving further away. Why would she do that?

The turnbuckle rattles. She's at the corner.

A hand plops against his brow, and his eyes squeeze shut, struggling to focus. He can move his limbs, but does he have the energy and control to turn around? Not yet.

There's that silence again. His hand drops from his face and he takes a gamble. His knees pull in at his abs. If she drops knees-first, he's in a seriously bad position, and though it'll hurt her, he'll have probably screwed himself worse. But the moment the impact occurs, his eyes snap to focus. She landed back-first across his knees!

With a groan, Domino pulls himself to the right, hoping to roll her off of himself and prepare to fight back, assuming she hadn't rolled off of him on her own accord by then!

One of the problems Melody has encountered with Swanton over the last few month, is that after she jumped, she was taking a leap of faith. Turning in the air to land on her back, she was unlikely to get a good look on her opponent, and whether they moved out of the way or attempted to counter her. Still she landed the move successfully more often than not, and especially in this situation with her opponent significantly dazed, she thought everything would go smoothly...

...it did not, however, as Drake raised his knees to his abs, the green-ette landing on them with her spine! Gasping, she rolled off of Domino as her partner got up. Melody struggled with getting to her feet due to the impact of her Swanton turned against her, unwillingly allowing Drake to capitalise on his reversal...

The referee would be doing the double count-out right now, if they had one. Domino is still shaking the cobwebs from her last torrent, but he seems to be recovering faster than her. Who could blame her? A high risk move, landing her back on a pair of unforgiving knees?

He rolls onto his hands and knees, eyes finally focusing on the girl. He reaches for the back of her head to pull her to her feet with him. Once standing, he sets his right hand between her legs, the left over her shoulder, and attempts to swing her body into the air, pressed across his chest. She won't be supported long before the young grappler drops to a kneeling position, aiming to slam her lower back across his upturned knee in a classic backbreaker!

With Melody's back still feeling the aftermath of a failed Swanton, the green-ette couldn't get to her feet before Domino had got a hold of her.

She flailed her arms and legs as her opponent lifted her into the air, as if for a body slam, really not looking forward for Domino to continue working her back over, by dropping her on the hard mat below.

The good news for Melody was that this isn't what Drake had in mind. The bad news was that what he had in mind was much worse. Looking to reintroduce Melody's back to his knee, Drake dropped her spine-first on it!

"AAAAAAAAAAGH!", Melody screamed in agony, rolling off of Drake's knee and arching her back in pain, her hands going towards it to try and soothe the hellish pain! She couldn't even try to roll away in her state, with Melody fully exposed for a follow up from Domino!

That's the opening Domino had been waiting for. She's on her back, and by all rights, seems stunned. He realizes he probably looked to be in similar state not long ago. And though he was, the only mistake Melody had made was simply not being quicker. She overestimated the damage she'd done to him - if only barely - but that could mean everything. He won't be giving her a moment's respite, here.

The idea is similar, at least. He lifts to his feet, and with a huff, hops over to stand at her other side. With a foot, he nudges her to ensure she's on her back. Then promptly, the young grappler springs into the air, body rotating in a clean backflip to drop his hard six-packed abdominals across her bare belly in a standing shooting star press!

Melody tiredly laid on her back, trying to collect some strength to get to her feet. Domino didn't seem to be eager to help her in that request, instead touching her with his leg, to ensure green-ette stays on her back. Afterwards, all she heard were Domino's quick steps towards a turnbuckle.

The next second, Drake jumped, doing a backflip as he did so. And although this was the wrong place at the wrong time to be having this thought, but Melody was instantly jealous of her opponent managing to do a Shooting Star Press, where as she was still afraid to flip backwards.

Not having enough strength or time to pull off the same counter as Domino did a few seconds earlier, Drake would successfully land on Melody's stomach, abs first!

Melody gasped as she felt her opponent's six-pack digging into her belly after the move. She laid unmoving on the mat, with only a single light above their ring visible to her. To the tiny crowd of onlookers, it looked like Melody was unlikely to kick out if Drake were to go for the pin.

The impact is a rough one, especially given Domino had taken a splash just earlier, himself. But the damage it does his prey is more than obvious from her reaction. Worth it. His back arches to grind his abs hard across her belly, and he reaches back to hook her thigh. The reversal of positions from before isn't lost on him - the sexy sensation of her pinning him like this is just as, if not a little more intense, being in this dominant position over her. He looks towards her face, keeping the pressure on.

"One!," he counts.

Would she be able to kick out? He kind of hopes she will to keep things going. But he'll savor the pin while it lasts, either way.

As Domino called for one count, all that was on Melody's mind was kicking out. To her, the pinfall meant her opponent tried to seal the deal and fully beat her! And despite it being Domino's first pinfall of the match, Melody couldn't kickout at one even if she tried, the green-ette realizing that she took a lot more damage in the spar than she anticipated...

As she struggled underneath Drake, she collected power to kick out. She still wasn't ready by the time Drake called for 2. But just before he would say "three", Melody would try and push Domino off of her, simulataniously trying to lift her shoulder!

She's being cooperative down there. "Two!," shouts Domino. Maybe he will be holding her down for the full count. He pulls more on her leg, securing the limb a little better.

"Th-," he cuts off as soon as he feels her muscles tense beneath him, anticipating the burst of energy promised. And when it comes, he releases her leg and sits up on his knees, nodding down at her. "Good. We're not done here just yet..."

Hands grab for her shoulders to 'help' her on her way up to her feet, only to quickly thrust a knee towards her gut in hopes of keeping her under control. Now that he has the momentum on his side, he doesn't intend on creating an opening she could use. She's already proven what she could do with that.
