Middleweight Championship Match: Megumi Mutoh vs Tina Armstrong

Tina lunged at Megumi and tried to grapple with her but Megumi again twisted one of her arms! Tina tried to move as close to Megumi as she could to avoid some of the damage from the kicks but her leg still hurt! Tina yelped and groaned with each kick, trying to duck low and twist herself around to alleviate some of the pressure on her arm. "I've had enough of this! You want to see some strength lemme show ya!" Tina shouted as she tried to use the arm Megumi held to pull her in, bending to lift her and swing her around as she tried to power Megumi into the air then down hard to the mat with a shortarm powerslam! Tina wanted to show Megumi that she couldn't simply chip away at her, that Tina would keep coming and coming until she smashed Megumi into defeat!

Megumi was frankly quite surprised by the sheer strength that Tina displayed to her, and she was pulled closer towards Tina before the champion lift her up, swinging her around before slamming her down into the mat with a shortarm powerslam! "Aaghh!!" She cried out in pain upon being slammed, and she arched up her body after impact, trying to lessen the pain from the slam.

Knowing how precarious her position at the moment, Megumi would try to roll over onto her side before getting on all four, planning to get herself back up on her feet, and hopefully, she would be able to get herself back up before Tina could follow up with more attacks.

Tina saw Megumi rising again already. She was a resilient woman much like Tracy was! Tina would have to really take it to her to keep her down and take control... As Megumi got up Tina jumped into the air and extended her legs looking to bring a leg drop down on the back of Megumi's head, driving her face back to the mat! Tina knew she had to keep up the pressure and be relentless. She may not be able to match up with Megumi's technique so she had to have more drive, more will to win than Megumi. She had to keep on going no matter what Megumi was able to throw at her!

"Urghhh!!"

Tina was getting more relentless as she went to deliver a leg drop right into the back of Megumi's head as she tried to get back up, which resulted in her falling back down onto the mat again, grunting in pain. Feeling pain on the back of her head, there wasn't much she could do, but she had to do something if she wanted to turn things around in her favor.

So, she would roll herself over, getting herself onto her back. Hoping that Tina's leg was still extended out after the leg drop, she would try to grab Tina by her calf, and right after that, she would try to nail a stiff punch right into her knee, hoping to weaken her with it!

Tina groaned as she smashed megumi's face to the mat but took a shot to the knee.Tina groaned and stood up, favoring one leg over the other. She backed off and waited for Megumi to begin to rise.

As soon as her foe started to get up Tina would rush in and leap at Megumi, swinging her legs up as she tried to connect with a big spinning wheel kick in an effort to send Megumi back to the canvass!

After delivering a stiff punch into Tina's knee, Megumi felt her opponent getting herself off of her, and she took this opportunity to get back up. But, as she was on her hands and knees, she heard Tina's footsteps as she came closer to her, and she knew that her opponent was going for a big strike on her.

With a yell, Megumi would sit up as quick as possible as she would then try to grab Tina's leg in her effort to take her down with a dragon screw takedown, twisting at her leg, hoping to cause intense pain on it to immobilize her!

Tina again fell victim to the dragon screw for s third time! She howled and grabbed her leg, hurting and rolling on the mat. She slapped the mat and grotbher teeth trying to get up but falling as she put pressure on her leg, finding herself back on her hands and knees!

"No way...." Tina muttered, trying again to push herself up only to fail in similar fashion.

Taking Tina down with the dragon screw, Megumi would quickly get back up on her feet as she looked at Tina already on her hands and knees. Knowing that her opponent wouldn't stay down, Megumi decided to just force her to stay down as she would stand over her, looking at her legs.

"Stay down!" Megumi yelled as she would stomp into the backs of both Tina's knees, first to the right and then to the left, hoping that by hurting both her knees, Tina would be discouraged to get back up even more.

"Ahhhh! AHHHH!" tina shouted with each stomp to the backs of her knees, leaving her crawling on her arms and grabbing the ropes. Tina glared back at Megumi and tried to pull herself up with her arms. As she put pressure on her legs they bucked, but she stayed up thanks to her grip of the ropes. "To hell with that. I am still going to beat your ass." Tina said as she glared at Megumi. "My belt is mine, not yours!"

Tina tried to stand again, and as her legs wobbled and swayed she did succeed in barely being able to stand up. She knew Megumi wasn't going to simply sit there and let Tina recover though. She had to act. As soon as Megumi moved in striking distance Tina would try to land a quick left-right punch combo to the sides of MEgumi's head in order to keep her at bay.

Right after hitting the back of Tina's knees with her stomps, Megumi looked at Tina dragging herself towards the ropes. Controlling her breathing, the Combat Genius would wait for Tina to return to her, keeping her eyes on her. "I'll get to decide about that!" Megumi replied as she readied herself for what Tina would bring to her.

Knowing that she had weakened her opponent's knees, Megumi knew what her next targets would be. She would come over to her, readying herself to take the hits from the champion, and when she saw Tina throwing her punches at her, she would bring up her arms to shield the parts where Tina was trying to hit before she attempted to deliver a sweeping kick at Tina's right knee, hoping to make her lose her balance and fall down.
