Or she could find some scrawny high school-aged kid. She had no idea. But somehow, not knowing felt worse.

Without knowing what she was walking into, Audrey made the executive decision to go with her standard entrance performance, rather than her standard, business-like approach. As such, when

began to play, she bounded down the ramp with a pair of brightly lit sparklers in her hands. The crowd cheered and waved as she danced down the ramp, waving the sparklers at fans and drawing shapes in the air with them. She twirled and spun as she moved, making her skirt flare outwards as she neared the ring, doing her best to not let her nerves disrupt her performance.

But with that performance done, she dropped her sparklers in a waiting glass of water and climbed into the ring. Audrey hadn't known it was Cordibel's debut until the ring announcer broadcast it upon his entrance. At least that answered why she hadn't been able to find much information about his match history. Still, that brought with it new questions. Why had they given her a rookie to face? Were they throwing her a bone, expecting her to have better success against an unproven talent? Or were they turning her into an initiation rite for newcomers, expecting her to be an appetizing opening meal to ensure he didn't hold back?

At the very least, Audrey noted, he has good taste in music.

But his taste in music mattered little when it came to his wrestling skill, or the outcome of their match. He came out wearing a robe, but even then, Audrey could tell he didn't have a bodybuilder-type of build. That was a good start. His expression, however, was just as hungry. And when he shed his robe, revealing the outfit beneath, she was distressed to see that while he was no bodybuilder, he wasn't lacking in the muscle department, either.
