Dana Ashford vs. Lauren Fredericks - Absolute Powers

Dana Ashford was slated to face another wrestler tonight, Lauren Fredericks, and she was looking forward to meet her in the ring soon. She had been around for quite a while now, so she had heard of Lauren a few times before. And tonight, she would be facing her in the ring. As always, Dana was planning to make a dominant showing in the ring, turning this Lauren into another stepping stone for her domination.

Making her way to the ring, Dana strutted down the ramp, sporting her usual motherly smile. As always, she received a mixture of cheers and boos. Her steps were deliberate yet purposeful. She was here to give another match to remember, and the one to beaten would be her opponent, Lauren Fredericks. Dana would be the one to walk away, triumphant, adding another win under her belt.

Climbing up the apron, purposely showing off her shapely behind, Dana entered the ring before she made her way to the corner. Leaning against the turnbuckle, her arms draped over the ropes, she looked at the direction of the entrance. She had seen her a few times before, but this would be her first time meeting her in the ring, and she wanted to have an impression of her once she made her entrance.

Lauren was in action again, and trying to fix the slide she was experiencing. She had a few wins recently, but also some nasty losses. She was determined to make sure that tonight wasn't another loss. Clad in her blue swimsuit white kneepads and white boots she was backstage mentally preparing herself for the match she was about to have tonight. She knew she was an underdog... like usual... but she wasn't about to back away from anything. She was going to go out there and try to surprise everyone by walking away at the end with a win instead of another loss.

As her music played she came out walking tall, looking confident as she was looking at Dana in the ring. Dana's career spoke for itself and she knew this was going to be an uphill battle for sure. Still she had to go out and try to shock the world. As Lauren climbed into the ring she looked at Dana and kept her gaze focused on her opponent. As the bell rang Lauren stepped out to the middle of the ring holding her hands out and offering Dana a test of strength to start off the match!

Dana watched as Lauren made her entrance. She was aware of Lauren's long tenure in LAW, though she seemed to be picking quite a lot of losses. Not that she wasn't a formidable opponent, of course. Still, she was looking forward to show what she was made of, and she would wait until the bell to be rung, and she took her position, standing before Lauren while holding her hands up.

Seeing the offer for a test of strength, Dana gladly accepted, taking both Lauren's hands. Planting her feet on the mat, Dana would start pushing, and for the time being, she would match Lauren's strength to see what she would do at the start of this match as they were engaging each other in this test of strength.

Lauren and Dana locked up as each one was trying to force the other back! Two heavyweights testing strength was something Lauren lived for. Lauren's body trembled as she pushed trying to force Dana back. She was struggling and straining as she gave it her all, but things weren't going as she had hoped! They had still been stuck in the starting state with no one making any progress yet. She howled as she exerted herself trying to back Dana up to a corner.

Still engaged in the test of strength, Dana matched Lauren's strength. She resisted the push from the other woman as she thought of what to do next. Of course, as her opponent was trying to overpower her with pure strength, Dana had something else in her mind.

While Lauren was pushing, Dana would suddenly bring her knee right into Lauren's gut, hoping to knock the wind out of her with the move. From there, she would try to seize Lauren's head, looking to put her into a front facelock.

Lauren thought that for a moment maybe she could win this... that is until the knee to the belly knocked the wind out of her! "Oomph!" Lauren grunted as she hobbled on limp legs, doubled over and wide open for Dana.

She felt the iron grip around her head and stomped, caught and too stunned to do anything about it at the moment!

With Lauren doubling over before her, Dana held her in the front facelock, restraining her. For the time being, she would wrench Lauren's head in the front facelock, seemingly readying herself for some power move. At the same time, she would move around while dragging Lauren with her, hoping to leave her disoriented while being held in the move.

And then, Dana would bring her other arm with fist clenched before she brought it down onto Lauren's back, hammering it with a powerful blow. It might be a simple move from the veteran, but the blow was quite powerful that the sound of the impact was audible enough for those at the front seats to hear. Any lesser man or woman would be left utterly breathless if struck by it.

Lauren was stuck in the hold and struggling along as Dana smashed her across the back! The blow echoed throughout the arena and Lauren howled as she dropped down to her knees! "Ugggghhhh!" She groaned as she was still, stuck in the hold while on her knees on the mat. She kicked her feet a couple times and was moaning in pain as she tried to get back up to her feet, reaching her arms up at Dana's grip on her. She was trying to power out but she was wide open in this position giving Dana another window of opportunity to act and pile on the punishment.

Right after hitting Lauren at her back, Dana bent down to pull her up as she dragged her to the center of the ring. Then, she would try to scoop her up before throwing her down onto the mat with a body slam. The move itself was pretty simple, but with the way Dana threw Lauren down to the mat, the damage would be quite tremendous. Also, there was the fact that due to Dana's height, the slam itself would have enough airtime, which would make the slam more powerful, thus inflicting more damage on the other woman.
