Makie vs Catherine -NO DQ

Alright she thought. She been having it rough but maybe she can kick up a notch. Hopefully win this match. She wants to make it big. She can't keep on getting Ls but even fi it keeps happen as long as she seelsnotnit shpuld be okay and it not that bad anyway.





She enters the ring with her hands up high, then levels them flat. She walks down with her right fist in the air. She goes into the ring, and she goes and climbs on the top rope on the top right-hand side and puts her right fist into the air. She gets down and makes herself do a barrel roll, and after that, she gets up and goes to her side of the ring. She pats her pants.

So she heard her opponent has been having troubles like her. They both are going to fight like hell, that for sure. However, she doesn't know who she really is. If she loses, she... no, even if the worst happens, she can't go down. It won't be that bad.

A no DQ match. Well, this was certainly going to be interesting.

Makie was standing in front of a mirror, sliding the straps of her her trademark red leotard over her shoulders as she gave herself a look over. She had been fighting long enough in LAW, she knew, that she could afford some alternate outfits at this point. She'd have to see about contracting some new gear: the standard red outfit was great for when she was tagging with Kyo, but for solo matches, she wanted to express herself a bit more, dammit. And she was getting more and more matches ever since her brutal rematch against Peggy McIntyre, though this was going to be her first No DQ bout.

She knew very little about her opponent going into this match: she knew that this "Catherine Celestial" was supposedly a skilled high flyer like her, but that was where her information about her began and ended. If management was throwing her into a No DQ match against her, though, then she had to be tough. Then again, the fact that Makie was being thrown into such a match meant that management clearly thought the same about her. Makie smiled at the thought. She had only just broken her losing streak; for the first time in a while, she was feeling positive about herself, going into this match.

Hearing her theme song starting to blare, Makie hopped to her feet, took a deep breath, and strode out into the arena.

The crowd cheered as Makie made her entrance, smiling and flashing V-signs to the crowd. Bursting into a run, Makie raced down the ramp before sliding under the ropes, before crawling up to the top rope and raising her arms to her cheering fans. It felt good to drink in their applause, to be reminded that she had already made a significant fanbase here in LAW.

Hopping down from the ropes, Makie turned to her opponent...and nearly blushed. Catherine Celestial was taller than her (no surprise there), with a powerful, athletic body-- well developed abs, thighs and biceps-- that her outfit showed off. She looked strong, athletic, and if Makie wasn't about to be brawling her in a No DQ match soon, she absolutely would have been her type. Focus on the match, Makie, she told herself.

Instead, she adopted a cocky grin as she stepped up to her opponent. "So you're Catherine Celestial," she said. "Let's have a good match...though I'm sorry in advance, I'm going to be mopping the floor with you tonight." There was no malice to her statement, just some good natured, pre-match trash talk.

When Catherine sees her make her way to the stage, she can't help but feel like Makie looks like she should be in My Hero Academia. She got that kind of vibe to her.

She heard all of her comments to her. The smack talk as well. "Well, Makie Akamatsu. I bet you have more hair than me, so by default your head will be the better option to mop with. More clothing as well to help absorb the wet floor." She talks back to her.

That is a hairstyle she... actually is that the first time she saw hair like that. She knows she is a higher flyer, but unlike her, she is also considered a striker. She hopes to be ready for a high-flyer fight at the very least. She is cute, she has to admit, but it's not like that's going to save her, though. Catherine gets into a defensive stance.
