It had been a long while since Roxy had seen Raiye. The Conqueror and the Phoenix had a bit of history, most of it was unknown to the LAW crowd and that was something that suited Roxy just fine. She wasn't into this match to please the crowd, and hell this time she wasn't even into it just for the sake of the paycheck or to quell boredom. No, she had jumped on the idea of this match as she learned that she had a chance to face off against Raiye Fujiwara. She wanted to take on the Phoenix once again, and of course conquer her. What better way than to literally collar the Phoenix, she thought.

Stepping out onto the ramp, Roxy's music began to blast out of the speakers. The green haired babe immediately earned a chorus of jeers and boos from the crowd, with a handful of shouts and cheers mixed in. Though those were few and nearly drowned out in the sea of dislike that the Japanese crowd had for the disrespectful Roxanne Ashworthy. She walked casually to the ring, a slight sway in her hip as she approached the square circle. Roxy rolled in under the bottom ropes and pushed up to her feet as she would saunter around the ring in a pretty casual manner until she settled in her corner with her arms draping over the top ropes. She rested against the corner post as she would roll her eyes slightly at the loud jeers of the crowd before she'd bring her right hand up and show them her middle finger in a nonchalant manner.

She let her eyes trail towards the crowd as they reacted to her gesture with displeasure, a smug smirk appearing on her face as she took a small amount of delight in annoying and pissing off the crowd. She'd turn her head away from the crowd finally and fix her gaze upon the ramp, as she now focused on her opponent whom she was waiting for...Raiye.

After seven months, the Phoenix would finally show herself to her long time rival, and it was clear that she did that with the full class this place had to offer. Gone were the days where Raiye would just walk into the ring, people needed to be entertained and Roxy needed to remain impatient after laying her e yes on Raiye.

And so, the fireworks went off, making wings of fake flame as Raiye would step onto the big stage, stopping at the very center of it. She did a stretch, stretch her arms upwards while bending her body forward, just a quick motion to rouse the body before she hops up and down on her feet, getting herself good and ready for the fight at hand.

With minor sparks of fireworks hitting the sides of the ramp that led downwards, Raiye marched towards the very ring her challenged away, bringing her hands back to smooth out her hair before lifting and flicking it up a few times, just a moment where she's making sure everything was ready when it came to her side, no need to get herself ready in the ring, she learned quite well from her mistakes in the past after all, and the last thing she wanted is to be blindsided while rousing her body.

She stepped onto the small metal staircase, then brought on leg between the top and middle ropes, her hands separating those ropes further so her body could slip in right after her foot planted on the canvas, then her other leg followed and the Phoenix straightened up once more.

Roxy definitely look a whole lot more defined in the muscle department than Raiye had last seen her, though Raiye herself had also bulked up, strength was still very much something Raiye was known and feared for, even if her style of fighting now resorted to more than brawling.

"A collar match.."

Raiye mumbled, shifting to head to the opposite corner Roxy was resting against and would cross her arms underneath her proud chest, looking her opponent dead in the eye.

"Clearly you've prepared everything but your own neck, but that's why I am here after all. Let's see how quick you burn this time, Roxy."
