As her defeat was finally confirmed, Raya looked up furiously at Karen who stood over and extended a hand. Raya was seething, she wanted to do nothing but insult the woman that had handily beat her but she held her tongue because she knew that Karen could do whatever she wanted with her and she did not have the courage to provoke her into causing more needless pain now that the match was over, so she grit her teeth and grabbed the winner's hand while trying not to glare at her opponent.

"ugh...I didn't need your help...but thanks, I guess." Raya quietly mumbled as she was pulled up.

Raya was looking particularly salty as Karen pulled her up. So much for the stereotype of all Canadians being nice, she thought...but then, she hadn't really lived up to the same stereotype about New Zealanders, either. Plus, Karen knew how bitter someone could be after losing a hard fought match, she she decided against rubbing salt in the wound-- not unless Raya provoked her that was.

"Glad to hear it," she said, hauling Raya up to her feet and patting her on the shoulder. "Awesome match. You actually gave me a hell of a fight." And she meant it: Raya didn't have her experience, but she had strength and heart, which was something Karen still respected.

Raya was surprised, as Karen was being far nicer to her than she had expected, despite their exchanges during the match, leaving her momentarily speechless.

"Uh...th-thanks..?"

Although despite her opponents words of comfort, she still tried to get out of the ring as fast as possible to try and forget tonight's humiliating events, although inwardly she now came to respect Karen, though she would never admit that out loud. As she got out of the ring and made her way backstage, she stumbled a couple of times from exhaustion and the amount of damage her opponent had done to her which even Raya herself had to admit had completely outclassed her.

Winner by Pinfall: Karen Gale
