Re: The Hoplite vs. the Samurai: Alexios vs. Kyo
Alexios was stunned against the ropes. Kyo’s arm and hand smacked against Alexios’ chest several times, which left a mark. The crowd belted out loud cheers of WOOOOOOOO!. The pain helped Alexios focus and he saw the lariat coming clear as day. He managed to snag Kyo’s arm. Alexios then adjusted his grip, hoisted Kyo up, and drove him down to the mat with a Rock Bottom. He covered Kyo for the pin!

Re: The Hoplite vs. the Samurai: Alexios vs. Kyo
So far, Kyo was doing a very good job of keeping his larger opponent on the defensive. One forearm chop after another sliced into Alexios' chest, each blow staggering the big Greek and leaving him reeling on the ropes. Taking a step back, Kyo launched himself forwards again, aiming to deliver a lariat that would surely knock Alexios over the ropes and send him sprawling outside.
At least, it would have, if Alexios hadn't reacted in time and grabbed Kyo's arm. Alarm bells rang in Kyo's head, just before Alexious hoisted him up and brought him slamming back-first into the ring! The audience roared as the ring shook, Kyo grunting from the spine-jarring impact as he found himself folded up in a pin!
"ONE! TW--"
With a groan, Kyo kicked out and flopped sideways. Rolling onto his front, he clutched his hurting back, struggling to regain the energy to push himself upright again.

Re: The Hoplite vs. the Samurai: Alexios vs. Kyo
Alexios kept on Kyo by coming behind him and squatting down over him. He grabbed Kyo by the chin and delivered a few hammerfist blows to his chest to keep him from resisting. Alexios then pulled Kyo’s arms around his legs and wrenched Kyo back into a camel clutch!

Re: The Hoplite vs. the Samurai: Alexios vs. Kyo
Alexios was not giving Kyo a chance to recover: he felt the big man squat on his chest, before his chin was wrenched back: he gasped, grabbing for Alexios' fingers to pry them loose. A few hammer-blow punches to his chest stopped that, though, each blow causing him to gasp loudly and leave him breathless. Stunned, he felt his arms being pulled back over Alexios' knees, and then the camel clutch truly began in earnest.
"RRrrrnnnngh..." Kyo groaned through clenched teeth, feeling intense pain exploding in his neck and upper back. Weighed down as he was by Alexios, all he could do was try to withstand it as best he could...as well as try to edge his legs closer to the side of the ring, hoping he could get close enough to snag the ropes...

Re: The Hoplite vs. the Samurai: Alexios vs. Kyo
Kyo made it to the rope and the ref began counting. Alexios held to the four count and let go. He backed up and readied himself to charge and nail Kyo with a lariat when he gets up.

Re: The Hoplite vs. the Samurai: Alexios vs. Kyo
Kyo's breathing was ragged now after those brutal punches to the chest; despite that, Kyo refused to give up, and kept edging his legs to the side, trying to stretch his leg out far enough to actually snag the bottom rope. Finally, even as his neck felt like it was going to snap from the sheer pressure of the camel clutch, he managed to get his boot over the bottom rope. Alexios, however, kept the hold locked for a full four count before finally letting Kyo go.
Flopping onto his front and breathing hard, Kyo slowly began to push himself up to his feet...and upon doing so, received a brutal lariat to the chest from Alexios! He went crashing onto his back; groaning, he rolled, tumbling out of the ring as he tried to recuperate...
