Evolutionary Storm- Alizeh vs Fungus

The timing was perfect, with Alizeh weakened after that series of clothslides that left her opponent sprawled on the floor and moaning in pain. Fungus thought it was a pretty good move to make it look like she was truly out of her mind. Perhaps not positioning herself properly to block the attacks to her neck had worked in her favor, and now she prepared by running to the ropes and executed her leonsault onto her opponent.

She landed on her with all her strength, leaving the Emerald Storm even more battered, and now she prepared to perform a Straight Jacket hold, positioning her opponent correctly to execute it. She tightened her grip with just enough force to make it look believable, but not so much as to actually hurt her opponent. Something the Emerald Storm wasn’t going to realize.

Alizeh wasn’t selling the move properly; she didn’t look trapped or like she was suffering from the hold. This made the Mushroom Kaijin uncomfortable, having to deal with this kind of thing. “Sell the hold, please, you’re making us look ridiculous” she said nervously, frustrated by this situation that felt very amateurish. Suddenly, Alizeh twisted to break free from the loose hold, and she quickly dropped to her knees.

For a moment, the American and the Japanese woman stood face to face, before she shoved Top-Toad backward onto the mat and felt her knees being grabbed and suddenly had the woman’s entire back right in front of her. It was a jackknife pin reversal; the referee got as far as counting “ONE,” but Fungus refused to let it end so soon, so she grabbed her opponent’s thighs to gain momentum from her back and reversed the pin with a roll-up in her favor.

Alizeh thought she heard the toad top say something whilst the straight jacket hold was locked in but frankly Alizeh couldn't focus on or care as she was just too focused on getting out and taking advantage. Thankfully that's exactly what she had managed to do, breaking free of Fungus's hold before diving on top of the woman whilst holding her legs down to secure a fairly tight reversal pin. Unfortunately however it wouldn't last for long before Alizeh was pushed backwards, now with her own shoulders pinned to the mat instead!

"ONE!"

The referee called out before Alizeh decided that would be all there was to that as she bucked her hips and shifted forward with the momentum to push Fungus onto her back with Alizeh back on top, leaning a bit more forward than before with her rear a bit closer to the kaiju's face as Alizeh tried to hold on for a reverse of the pin reversal!

Fungus has a list of things he won’t tolerate in the ring: people who discredit wrestling, substance abuse, pole matches and their variations, etc. But of all these, the worst is a lack of professionalism, and that’s exactly what he’s dealing with right now with Alizeh: first, he refuses to talk to or coordinate anything with his opponent, she didn’t protect herself from the attacks, aside from the hard kick she landed, she didn’t sell the hold properly, and now she almost ended the match in an instant with a quick pin, had it not been for Fungus reacting quickly to reverse the pin and return the favor with a roll-up to make her stop doing these things, and obviously the Emerald Storm wasn’t going to sit idly by

The Texan quickly countered the pin by arching her back and grabbing Top-Toad’s two legs to get on top again, now leaving her butt in front of the Kaijin (though it was a very pleasing sight for Fungus, that’s for sure). The referee counted ONE and was about to say two but was interrupted by The Fungi Star, who shouted, “No way, human!” She quickly grabbed Emerald Storm by the thighs and, with all her strength, shoved her face-down onto the mat while pinning her legs and crushing her arms with her own, putting Fungus back in control of the pin.

Despite having her reversal reversed Alizeh was not about to let things go that way and pretty quickly she was able to push up and grab hold of Fungus's legs, setting up nicely into a face sit pin of her own on the toad top... or rather toad bottom if Alizeh were to say. But Alizeh would not have the chance to chuckle at her own internal joke as within moments Fungus would push up, roll the two back over and reversing the pin once again so that the lightweight was on top and the pin once again being reset!

"ONE!"

Like before however Alizeh would not let the count go more than once, but she would break the pattern as rather than try to roll back over she would thrust her legs out, aiming to break herself free of her opponent's grip and kick out all together finally separating from the toad top! Assuming she was successful in this Alizeh would end up on her hands and knees, breathing a little heavily while staring across into the eyes of her opponent... with a small smirk playing at her lips as she did so. "Not bad." Alizeh would say in compliment to the kaiju's skill and grit so far.

After a back-and-forth exchange of pins that neither could hold for more than a second because the other always managed to counter with another pin, it finally seemed as though Fungus had taken the lead, grabbing both of Emerald Storm’s thighs and pinning her arms down with her legs. But Alizeh once again managed to escape the pin, now standing face-to-face with the Fungi-Star, both exhausted after so much struggling.

The middleweight told her she wasn’t doing half bad, which was a bit ironic considering that the Toad-Top still thought this was a kayfabe match and believed that everything the American had done was unprofessional. “And I’m just getting started, L.A.W. human,” She said that defiantly and immediately proceeded to grab her opponent’s head and rub her face against the canvas to stun her and give the MWL Ace time to leave the ring to find a weapon, since it was an Extreme Rules match and they hadn’t yet taken advantage of that opportunity.

Alizeh smirked softly at the toad top as she heard the woman's teasing taunt. "We'll see about th- AGH!" Alizeh cried doubt as she was grabbed and pushed down into the mat, her face getting rubbed aggressively into it causing stars to dance in her eyes!

"Ugh... that was... so not cool..." Alizeh thought to herself as she pushed herself back up, holding her face for a moment while shaking her head and turning to see Fungus outside the ring.

"Oi!" Alizeh snapped, annoyance clear in her voice as she moved to roll out of the ring and giving chase to the brown haired girl, more than a bit annoyed with the sudden face grind into the mat and wanting to make her pay as she approached the woman from behind!

Okay, it was a bit underhanded to rub Alizeh’s face against the canvas to distract her, but at this point, Fungus was just trying to put on a good show and make sure her run in L.A.W. wasn’t as rocky as her debut had been. After this match, she’d probably strangle her boss for making her participate in this against an opponent so lackluster in terms of in-ring performance.

Now she was outside the ring, looking for whatever might come in handy. Chairs? Versatile but very risky. Tables? It would take too long to set them up. Ladders? Impractical for now. A sledgehammer or a bat? Too heavy and too light, respectively. A kendo stick? It was perfect for this situation, so she quickly grabbed it. It was a heavier prop than usual but, to tell the truth, quite close to the real thing.

With the green-haired woman stepping out of the ring, ready to make her pay for everything, the Fungi Star prepared by pulling her kendo stick from under the ring and quickly striking Emerald Storm’s head with the prop to surprise the audience and try to calm her opponent down so she could finally plan something a bit more professional, were it not for one small detail… it wasn’t a prop; it was a real kendo stick.

Groaning a bit as she rubbed her face a bit after exiting the ring Alizeh would be sure to pay Fungus back for doing that face grind into the mat. Not something that Alizeh would have done to the brunette but clearly the smaller girl had no probably going to that place and it didn't sit well with her.

Luckily it wouldn't take much time for Alizeh to find the Kaiju digging under the ring, moving in to try and grab her before she could decide Alizeh would be just a bit too slow as she would emerge from the ring and swing out a long kendo stick, lashing it out into Alizheh's direction smacking it directly into her face in the process!

Immediately Alizeh would stumble backwards away from Fungus, eyes crossing for a moment while a section of her from her forehead down across the bridge of her nose to her right cheekbone grew a angry red with even a few specks of blood emerging from her forehead which took the brunt of the blow before Alizeh finally dropped down onto her but, holding her face while letting loose a low, steady hiss of pain from that hard whack by the kendo stick!

It was pretty obvious that after she roughly rubbed her face against the canvas, the Emerald Storm would be furious and searching for her to give her what she deserved, and just as she found her digging under the ring and was about to attack her, the Mushroom Kaijin emerged from under the ring with a kendo stick to strike her directly in the face

The kendo stick hit her so hard that it broke, which is normal for props used to add intensity and make the audience feel more immersed in the fight… but not in a real one. Fungi-Star was stunned for a few seconds when she saw that half the stick had flown off and that Alizeh’s face was half red and her forehead was bleeding from the impact, before she crashed face-first onto the floor at ringside.

What the hell was wrong with this company? Real props for an Extreme Rules match, what the hell was going on with them? Now she was in a tough spot, but she had to stay calm. She struck a few poses for the crowd and posed for photos to calm them down a bit, and after that, she approached the American woman, who was still writhing in pain, to help her sit down with the MWL Ace behind her and apply a sleeper hold, but this time a real one, a hard shot, with all her strength. Then, in a low voice, she’d start whispering in her ear without the audience noticing, “Okay, I’m tired of you ignoring me, so I’ll just say it straight out: What the hell is wrong with you? I get that you don’t want to talk to me about organizing the match structure and prefer to improvise, but not selling my submission holds and putting us at risk of looking bad on camera? That’s a huge lack of professionalism. And what’s with this whole thing about not using protective gear and using real objects in these matches?” said the Toad-Top, clearly annoyed by everything that was happening.
