When her foot crashed into Akari's solar plexus, Charlotte did her best to keep from smiling. However, the corners of her lips still trembled treacherously and lifted slightly. Damn. At some point, she really felt like a third-rate amateur fighter. It was hard to explain, but now that they were in a much more private environment.… Charlotte seemed transformed.

Feeling an incredible surge of strength, energy and inspiration, the martial arts master firmly decided that she would show Akari what she was really capable of. The Japanese woman was certainly a phenomenal fighter, and therefore Charlotte was literally eager to show that she could be on an equal footing with her, and maybe even one step ahead.

When Akari stumbled back, trying to catch her breath, Charlotte, like a real lizard, rushed after her opponent. Shifting slightly from side to side, she wanted to make Akari think about where exactly the next blow would come from. However, it didn't really matter, because once Charlotte was in a space where she could use both her arms and legs, she did something else. She took another step forward.

Bending down sharply, she intended to press her right shoulder against Akari's stomach. She wanted to wrap her left arm around the black-haired woman's right thigh, and wrap her right arm around her waist. If successful, she would have abruptly straightened to her full height, thereby lifting Akari above the mat.

“Hooooaa!!!”

Charlotte was going to suddenly turn around in the opposite direction and thereby gain additional momentum, so that she and Akari could rush down with all their strength and speed, straight to the mat. If her kick knocked the air out of Akari, then with this crushing spinning spinebuster she wanted to knock the spirit out of Akari!

As the dark-haired woman gasped for air, her adversary wasted no time in following up on the golden opportunity that stood before her. Charlotte's ploy of darting in from side-to-side, mixing up her approach from different angles, was a very smart tactic. Even if Akari wasn't momentarily stunned from that Side Kick, she would still have a terrible time guessing the Frenchwoman's next move. Of course, up until this point, the Japanese woman hadn't anticipated that Charlotte would whip out something so intense as her next play.

In one fell swoop, she found herself being lifted in the air, helpless in the Frenchwoman's clutches. The amount of control Charlotte possessed over her was enough to make the Sea Turtle blush. It was another rush of strange feelings she couldn't quite focus on at the moment as her newfound training partner brought her back down to reality with a crushing slam!

Akari's back hit the canvas with a sizable thud, the ropes buckling a little from the impact. Despite both women being middleweights, they fought with such explosive ferocity that even heavyweights would stagger. In this case, Akari was feeling all that power the Sand Lizard had tucked away, a few flecks of spit erupting from her lips as a result of the impact. The force reverberated through her body, forcing a deep, coughing gasp from her diaphragm as her eyes widened before glazing over. The Spinning Spinebuster left her completely drained for the time being, short-circuiting her body and leaving her in a state of shock. It was as if the Japanese woman was a broken-down car on the side of the road, desperately in need of a quick jumpstart, or at least a few more pumps on the ignition and brake pedal.

For now, however, Akari was left in a heap beneath Charlotte, gasping and wheezing, still capable of fighting, but needing a moment of rest. Of course, that wouldn't...and shouldn't...stop the Sand Lizard from her pursuit. The pair still had around seven-ish minutes left, and Charlotte was in a prime and most advantageous position with the sweating, heaving Japanese woman trapped beneath her, their athletic and well-kept frames lingering so closely together.
