Match Type: "Standard."
Win by scoring a pinfall of three seconds on the opponent, forcing a wrestler to submit, or knocking the wrestler out. Additionally, if a wrestler remains outside the ring for too long, they will be disqualified after a ten-count. Furthermore, if a wrestler performs an illegal move and is caught in the act by the in-ring official, they will be disqualified.
Standard rules - DQs, Count-outs, and the submission or pinfall MUST happen within the confines of the ring.

Kotomi entered the arena with an excited look on her face. The passionate pro-wrestling fan in her was BEYOND elated for tonight's match as not only would she be facing a legend in the form of Alizeh Midori, but she'd get the opportunity before her sister did. She wanted to be the first in her family to take down someone of Alizeh's caliber, to clash with her and do something neither her mother nor her sister had done yet...Conquer the Emerald Storm. Alizeh was like a gatekeeper of sorts, anyhow. It was only a matter of time before you wound up facing her. Be it in a debut, early into your career, amid a tournament, or staring down against her for the chance at a title shot. Eventually, everyone wound up fighting Alizeh Midori. She made a name for herself in LAW, and was clearly one of its staple talents. Kotomi had seen a ton of her matches, even before tonight. It wasn't just to study up on her opponent's moves and capabilities, but it was also because she was such a big fan of Alizeh's. If not for the match ahead of her, she would be geeking out like crazy, practically bouncing off the walls even.

Her mind was lost in a haze of fantasies and daydreams. Part of her worried about failing, part of her dreamed of success and dominance, and another part of her was swirling with dozens of questions that she wanted to ask Alizeh. But after slipping through the ropes and striking her signature pose, the black-and-white-clad newbie focused her mind until there was only one goal in sight: VICTORY

Alizeh took a deep breath in preparation for the match ahead of her tonight as she stretched and checked over her attire backstage. Tonight she'd be facing Kotomi Ito a name that Alizeh was all too familiar with as were many fans of LAW given it was the name of one Akari Ito, a wrestler that Alizeh firmly believed was on her own level in terms of skill, prestige and promise... and apparently also from a family that loved to wrestle since her mother and younger sister followed her to LAW to join in. Honestly Alizeh was amazed the two hadn't met in the ring yet, and instead she was slated to face the younger sister Kotomi. But Alizeh didn't begrudge that, in fact she was excited since it was a good chance to sample the Ito lineage and test the girl... As well as have a sampling of what the older Ito's could do.

In any case it was almost time for Alizeh to make her entrance and after doing a quick double check of her silver and orange attire Alizeh would nod to herself, satisfied with everything and feeling confident for this bout. Turning and walking out of the dressing room and through the halls of the backstage area Alizeh would roll her shoulders in preparation before making it to the entrance curtain. Bouncing on her feels to hype herself up a bit Alizeh would take a quick breath until the crackle of lightning resounded through the speakers along with electric guitars as Alizeh finally came out!

Posing at the top of the ramp for a moment as the fans cheered loudly in response Alizeh would smile out at the fans for a moment before then making her way down the ramp, high fiving the fans on her way down the ramp Alizeh would jump up as she approached the apron, turning to land in a seated position on the outside apron, smiling out a bit more at the fans before getting up.

Popping up to her feet Alizeh would turn and slip between the ropes into the ring proper before jumping onto a corner to the middle ropes, throwing her arms up proudly for all to see before hopping down and approaching the center of the ring, looking Kotomi up head to toe for the first time. "Damn taller than I thought." Alizeh said jokingly before stopping at the middle of the ring and holding her hand up to her. "Nice to meet you kid I'm Alizeh. Looking forward to this?" Alizeh would say with a wide smile, waiting to see how, or if Kotomi would respond.

When Alizeh arrived, Kotomi felt a little nervous, admittedly. This was a woman whose career had seen many of the highs and lows of LAW, fought some of its very best and worst, and was definitely one of the company's most traveled talents. The Emerald Storm was certainly nothing to trifle with, but Kotomi couldn't back down now. Despite how anxious she felt the closer Alizeh got, Kotomi steeled her nerves as much as possible, biting down on her lip to focus on anything but the lingering butterflies beginning to form in the pit of her stomach. At the very least, Alizeh didn't seem like the cruel type...while she might push Kotomi to her limits, she wasn't going to break her in two. At least, that's what the dark-haired Japanese girl was hoping.

However, Kotomi wouldn't have much longer to dwell on her thoughts and feelings as she came face-to-face with Alizeh, staring her down in the center of the ring. She had the height advantage, but Alizeh was heavier than her, so she had to play this wisely. On the bright side, the green-haired grappler was a friendly face, it seemed, offering a respectful handshake to solidify a friendly, warm, and welcoming start to their match before the bell. Kotomi's eyes widened. She had been trapped in her own head that she completely lost track of things, forgetting to present herself properly to her opponent. Despite being opponents, there was no reason she couldn't show at least a little bit of respect. She bowed her head nervously, greeting Alizeh like a proper young woman and shaking her hand in response. "H-Hi! Yes, my name is Kotomi, Kotomi Ito...It's nice to meet you as well. I-..." She trailed off for a second.

"I'm looking forward to proving that I belong in this place, and unfortunately, Alizeh-san...that starts by beating you." She said, not being too aggressive or too nervous to stand by her own words, being firm and speaking matter-of-factly to her opponent. "So...with all due respect, don't call me 'kid'...otherwise, you might just wind up looking up at the lights by the time this is over." Kotomi said, beginning to grin a little. "Truth be told...yeah, I am looking forward to this. My older sister has never crossed paths with you, so you've never beaten her, and she's never beaten you...so, I'll be the first in my family to not only meet you head-on...but defeat you too."
