Garlim let out a low chuckle as the axe struck her back, forcing her further down onto her hands and knees. She groaned softly while rolling onto her back, arching it in a bridge. "Mmm..." The blow hadn't been severe, but it had certainly packed a solid wallop; a confident, knowing smile spread across her face as she looked back at the blonde.

"That's what I like to see," Garlim murmured approvingly, bracing herself against the ground. "Stop blushing and keep up that intensity. If you fight with that kind of determination every time, not only will your skills improve, but you might even put me on the defensive." Linda stood over her, chest heaving, as her leg slowly lowered back to the mat. For a moment, silence filled the room, broken only by the sound of Linda’s breathing. Garlim lay motionless, her gaze fixed on the overhead lights.
