Freezing Thunder: Raina Jaeger vs Isa "The Angel of Ice"

Raina sighed softly as did squats backstage in preparation for her upcoming match tonight. Isa, the so-called Angle of Ice. A powerful heavyweight with a cut build like herself and honestly.... Raina wasn't quite sure how this was going to go. After all it's not as if she was known for getting wins, in fact quite the opposite as many viewed her as a jobber. It was... disheartening to say the least but she could accept it... Even if she didn't like the label.

Standing up fully Raina would sigh and head to her door only for it to be opened before hand with a female LAW rep standing there. "Oh hey I was just about to head out-" She said only for the rep to hold a hand up to stop her. "Ms.Jaeger I'm here to let you know there was an uptick in merch revenue specifically for you and Ms.Isa, as a result we've authorized an increase of the winner's prize for whoever wins." She said in a curt tone causing Raina to blink.

"Increase? As in like, whoever wins gets more money than normal?" Raina asked and getting a curt nod in response. "Yes around double the normal amount now if you'll excuse me I need to go inform Isa of this news, good luck in you're match." The suit said as then walked down the hallway and leaving Raina to blink slowly. "I... Am gonna SO WIN TONIGHT!!!" Raina said to herself determinedly as she then turned and made her way down the hall as her entrance music began to play with Raina coming out and posing with her bicep flexed!

Holding the pose for a moment Raina would begin to march down the ring far more confidently then when she had initially left her dressing room, but the promise of a few extra thouasnd dollars to her bank account was a great motivator as she approached the ring. Climbing onto the ropes Rania would turn out before the crowd and pose now with both arms in the air before turning fully inside the ring and heading to her corner, watching the entrance ramp with fired up eyes waiting for her opponent to come on down.

[Jaystar]

"Relax Isa, it's going to be fine!"
"Oh, but she's another heavyweight, Julie!"
"So?"
"So? You know my record against other heavyweights in LAW recently! And she's even bigger than me!"
"Just a tiny bit!"
"Well, maybe... But still!"
"Come on, Isa! This is a great opportunity for you!"
"How?!?"
"To finally show that you can convincingly defeat a heavyweight, of course!"
"But how can this one be such a great opportunity...? While all the others weren't!"
"Oh come on! Let me Google her name, I'll prove you..."
"What...?!?"
"Look! Look at these past match images of hers...
...There, she's losing...

...Come on Isa, she is totally beatable for you!"
"Oh Julie..."
"Just be confident! That's the key!"
"All right, all right... You know I am! You know I'm always trying my best..."
"Yes! And that'll get you the win tonight!"

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"Come in!"
"Ms.Isa, I'm here to let you know there was an uptick in merch revenue specifically for you and Ms.Jaeger, as a result we've authorized an increase of the winner's prize for whoever wins."
"Oh, OK..."
"WHAT?!? That's GREAT!!!"
"Oh come on Julie, it's just money..."
"Isa, this is our profession now!!!"
"Ugh, I know, I know..."
"Ms.Isa, please know that Ms.Jaeger is also already making her entrance, so you should probably get going now."
"Oh, OK, thank you... I will!"
"YES!!! Go get her Isa!!! Go get that juicy money price for us... I mean, for yourself!!!"
"Yes, Julie, Yes... Thank you."

Isa - The Angel of Ice

Entrance Theme: Anabantha – Angel of Ice

As Isa began marching down the ramp to the mystic tunes of her entrance theme, she was trying to maintain her usual cool, calm and collected composure, while turning the thoughts and doubts inside her head into confidence. She had to admit that Julie's efforts at boosting it had also been already somewhat effective, especially the details that she had given on her opponent's prior record... On paper, Raina Jaeger had sounded like yet another tough, strong heavyweight opponent when Isa had looked her up... But admittedly, she hadn't really paid attention to her record. Maybe this was in fact a great chance for her in the end?

Another puzzling factor had just emerged though... Why had the winner's prize money exactly increased? Sure enough, Isa knew that her popularity had grown rather significantly, especially ever since she had featured in the Ladies of LAW Calendar... But she had also picked up on the fact that some of her most popular matches were ones where she had been pretty clearly on the losing end. Thus, the apparent success did inevitably feature some grey clouds for the Angel of Ice as well...

In any case, now that she had made her way by the ring, having subtly greeted and waved at the crowds along the way, it was no longer timely to think of any of that. Instead, the blonde slid graciously inside the ring between the ropes, and proceeded to perform her usual procedure of getting up on the ropes at each side of the ring, crossing her legs in a seated position for a moment, while making sure to greet all of the crowds with a polite smile and a graceful little wave. Then, it was time to turn her sights to her opponent, while making her way to her corner inside the ring...

Raina was there on the opposite side, and she looked just as big and strong as Isa had anticipated... But also, markedly babyface too. And that held a realization for Isa... Her heavyweight opponents had usually been on the heelish side. Maybe facing someone, perhaps softer, and less vicious like Raina, could indeed help her to perform better?

With this sudden thought came a boost of some newfound confidence, prompting Isa to start taking steps towards the center of the ring. It was also surely advisable to try getting a mental edge over her opponent already too - of course, in a reasonably civilized way - and the blonde had just come up with a great line to do achieve just that.

"Pretty in pink, huh?" the Angel of Ice began greeting her opponent in a polite, yet teasing tone, as she settled in the center of the ring.

Raina was smiling confidently in the ring while stretching and preparing herself for the bout ahead. Especially as her opponent finally appeared at the top of the entrance ramp. 'Damn she is built like me.' Raina thought to herself, unable to tell which of them had the better built body, even as Isa came into the ring allowing a closer look and if anything made it even harder to figure out which was the better of the two. 'Damn it this won't be easy.' Raina thought with a frown before hearing what the blonde said and smirking as a front while giving a teasing wink of her own. "Yep. Even prettier after I beat you and take that prize purse." Raina shot back and, as soon as the bell would ring to start the match Raina would waste no time rushing forward to try and catch her opponent out the gate with a sudden lariat to try and knock her down!

Raina certainly seemed to be owning her pink, remaining unfazed by Isa's little comment. Of course, that was alright, and the blonde held no malice over it, but if she was wanting to get to her opponent's head, this apparently wasn't the way to do it. What did get her eyebrow raised though was her comment about the prize purse... Apparently, that must have been a big motivator for her instead. Potentially, that was very good news... With such a goal a big motivator in her mind, perhaps the New Yorker was bound to focus on the wrong things, and let Isa take advantage of her misplaced focus...

Potentially, it was also a good option to scold her opponent a little bit too. The Icelander crossed her arms in response to Raina's words, adopting almost a motherly look before opening her mouth... "Really? Is the prize purse really what you're aft-..."

*DING!*

"...er here? W-WOAH!!!"

*SMACK!*

Raina's sudden Lariat hit the wholly unprepared Isa hard, sending her easily tripping over, with her back smacking hard against the mat! The blonde heavyweight still got to witness the final dollar signs sliding across the titantron, just as they had apparently been sliding across Raina's eyes... While the crowds were erupting to cheers for such a smashing start for the battle!

"Damn it! That was a bad start..." the Angel of Ice thought to herself as she was attempting to make her way back up to her feet as fast as possible after being downed by the early hit... She desperately needed not to let the money-driven Raina get the early momentum here!

Motivated far more today than she had been before for previous battles in LAW with the promise of a major payday Raina would waste no time in this bout, not even allowing for Isa to finish whatever her teasing words were before coming in hot with a lariat that took the blonde clear down to the mat! Smirk as she did this successfully Raina would not stop there.

No instead she'd make use of her momentum and let it carry her towards the ropes, turning to rebound off them and launch herself back in Isa's direction. As she did so Raina took note that Isa was getting up towards her feet already but rather than be worried about this Raina intsead grinned finding it absolutely perfect for her as she ducked and jutted her shoulder forward as she approached, aiming to drive herself into Isa's body and fold her in half with a spear!

Isa had gotten caught unprepared for Raina's quick start, and her back was now paying the price for it. This certainly wasn't a good start... But not yet a disastrous one, right? All she needed to do now was to shrug the pain off, get back up to her feet again, and back in the game...

Unfortunately for Isa, that plan got only half-fulfilled. Just as the Angel of Ice was regaining her footing again, and turning her sights on Raina, the pink-clad wrestler was already charging at her again, with no time for the Icelander to react! Letting out a loud "UGHHHH!!!" as the Spear folded the statesque blonde in half, downing her once again to the mat, the Angel of Ice was left reeling there for now, with air having gotten driven out of her lungs...

"Damn it... "Pretty in pink"... I shouldn't have said that!" the blonde cursed herself as she took Raina's powerful start as payback for her words, while slapping the mat once in frustration... Likely still remaining an easy target for Raina for the moment.

Success! Raina was off to probably the best start that she had ever gotten too in LAW within the last year or so and she wasn't about to let up! Lifting herself up and looking down at Isa who seemed fairly out of breath Raina would smirk already having a perfect idea on how she wanted to continue this.

"C'mere you." Raina said as she bent down, putting one arm under Isa's leg while the other scooped under the blonde woman's neck. Pulling up with a grunt of effort Raina would haul Isa off the mat and against her chest! Once there Raina would then push up on Isa's leg, intending to pull her body up even higher before turning to throw Isa down with a dead lift power slam!

The LAW fanbase had probably gotten well used to seeing powerful Nordic blondes showcasing dominant starts and performances in the ring, but for Isa, achieving those had been more often a struggle than not so far in the league. And even though the fanbase was well aware of Raina's own struggles in previous matches, so far it seemed that the angelic Isa was catching no break tonight, falling immediately into trouble against the New Yorker babyface! The blonde was already downed to the mat, and vulnerable to further punishment from her upbeat opponent...

Isa needed to get a fresh start. Somehow, some way... And maybe she was soon getting just that, as Raina seemed to be wanting her to get up again, bending down to apparently help the blonde out in the process... Or at least that's what Isa thought, at first... It didn't take long for her to realize that she wasn't getting back up in quite the fashion that she would have wanted to - but instead, in a fashion that put Raina's mighty strength on full display!

"Oh! ... Eek!" The Angel of Ice couldn't help letting out a couple of shocked shrieks of surprise, as suddenly she found her statesque body getting lifted high up by the pink-clad wrestler! Luckily, the Icelander didn't have time to ponder how helpless her supposedly mighty body was made to look by Raina's womanhandling... Before more unluckily, that body got slammed hard back into the mat, shooting immense pain throughout the blonde's back! "AAAAGGHHH!!!" Isa was left once again pained and reeling on the mat at Raina's feet... But the expression on her face wasn't telling only of pain, but also of the immense shock of how easily her pink-clad opponent was managing to throw her around!

"Oh God... How can she be that strong..."

Managing to completely overpower and slam the hell out of Isa early on and clearly leaving her rocked. Smirking proudly at herself at this Raina would quickly remember how some of her previous battles had gone wrong cause she took too much time to bask in the moment.

Well not today, not with a bonus like that that was on the line. Rushing in towards her downed opponent Raina would reach down, seizing a hand full of her blonde hair to pull Isa into a seated position before dropping down into a seated position behind her.

As she did so Raina would seize both arms of the Icelander before lifting her legs up, hooking both over Isa's arms before crossing her feet behind the blonde's head and pushing down, locking in a lotus lock!

A hold that she would press down in with her legs while lifting her hips up, to press Isa's torso down further until she had the woman's face in the mat and folded in half as a result!

Isa may had appeared like a decently muscled lady on the surface, but Raina was doing an effective job with making her look like simply a ragdoll compared to the pink-clad wrestler's own body. The Powerslam surely managed to rock Isa pretty badly... Both physically, and mentally. The shock may had been evident on the blonde's face for the crowds, but Raina held no interest in observing that, promptly grasping a fistful of the Icelander's long, blonde hair instead!

Pulling Isa up to a sitting position, the blonde could feel the New Yorker dropping down to a seated position behind her... And Isa wasn't still so rocked and slammed that she wouldn't have guessed what was about to happen. Bracing herself, surely, surely she was about to get her opponent's thighs snaking their way around her sides from behind! And of course, in preparation for that, Isa was going to make sure that her arms were going to be positioned perfectly to resist...

But no! Instead of her sides, it was her arms that got trapped between the babyface's legs... With them soon pressing down against the blonde's back! The unexpected move earned no resistance out of the Icelander, who was getting increasingly bent, and trapped in the Lotus Lock! She could only elicit a few moans of despair and pain, as the Angel of Ice was getting her "wings" clipped by Raina's mighty legs... Which were putting on a powerful and dominant display at the blue-clad wrestler's expense, who was eventually folded in half, and forced to helplessly eat the mat beneath her pink-clad opponent's heels!
