It was sometimes too easy to push Zira's buttons, and Huan found the reaction she got from her equal parts intimidating and cute, an admittedly odd mix, but she was never one to get scared so easily. So she began to tighten the hold, even sticking out her tongue to the other woman to tease her a little further. Still, as blunt a solution as Zira found to her predicament, with power she got in her legs, it was not a matter of if Huan would let go but rather if her hand would crack before she could, as each impact sent a sharp sting right through her bones, forcing her to let go.

She'd swing her leg up, threatening a stomp to the face should Zira try to pursue her too aggressively before scooting away and standing up, wide grin still adorning her face. There was bound to not be much time left in round one, but it was already shaping up to be a great fight!

Despite being trapped by Huan there wasn't a single moment where Zira felt even tug of wanting to tap. Oh no she would get out, and she'd make Huan pay for this hold of hers. Thankfully the kicks Zira sent Huan's way seemed to do the trick, forcing her opponent to release her leg, but not without raising her own, promising pain if Zira tried further retaliation against her foe. Tsking at this Zira would roll backwards and away from the woman before moving to get back up to her feet, glaring at Huan after in the process.

"You're gonna regret that Brightspring." Zira growled out, raising her fists up in preparation, about to launch herself forward to attack... Only to stop dead in her tracks as a loud Ding Ding rang out, ending the round making Zira growl out in frustration. "Grrrr... You got off easy." Zira snapped as she headed to her corner with a huff and leaned back against the cage.
