Today, the crowd was excited about this match, and I couldn’t blame them. For the first time, M.W.L.’s franchise star, Fungus, was set to have her first match in L.A.W. This match wasn’t going to be against just anyone: she was going to face Alizeh, one of the most popular pro wrestlers in this promotion, in what would be an interpromotional match between the two. All thanks to a partnership between the two wrestling leagues, which secured a special contract for MWL’s top talent, allowing them to participate in L.A.W. matches.

Caren, for her part, was getting ready, putting the finishing touches on her mushroom-themed outfit (for which she was known in the ring) and setting aside everything she planned to use in the match. It was going to be an extreme-rules match, just the way Caren liked them, with the chance to pull off some wild moves that would amaze the crowd. But something was off… she hadn’t received her match script yet, as was customary, nor had she been able to meet or practice with her opponent for tonight beforehand. She figured they were going to improvise this fight, considering that The Toad Top could adapt to any situation presented to her in the ring, putting on a good fight no matter what

It was her turn to go out first, and as expected, she made her entrance with a spectacular fireworks display befitting a wrestler of her caliber, with her music blaring throughout the arena as she made her debut for the company. Although she didn’t receive an ovation on the same level as she did at her former company, the audience was clearly very excited about the arrival of the “evolved mushroom” in this league.

As she walked down the ramp, she did so in the most playful and adorable way possible, skipping along and energizing the crowd until she reached the ring and stepped through the ropes. There, she climbed onto a corner post to strike a few poses and cheer on the fans even more for this match.

When she came around the corner, she asked for a microphone to say a few words before starting: "HI TO ALL THE HUMANS HERE AT L.A.W." she said to the audience, staying in character as Kayface: a mushroom that evolved into a human body and sought to become the pinnacle of evolution. “I’ve finally made my long-awaited debut in L.A.W., but that doesn’t mean I’ll be leaving my birthplace, M.W.L.” She cleared up any doubts about what was to come: “And now I’m going to face one of L.A.W.’s most prominent wrestlers, so please introduce my opponent,” she said as she pointed toward the entrance ramp.

Alizeh sighed softly as she stretched and prepared backstage for her match tonight, in the main event of LAW's weekly show but more interesting than that, it was a inter promotional match against someone named Evolved Mushroom or Fungus for short. A rather odd name but it made more sense when Alizeh considered she was from MWL, one of the few companies out there that still went mostly off gimmicks and scripted matches. Not that there was anything wrong with that in Alizeh's opinion, but it did make it hard for her to pin down just how good Fungus was since despite being the top billed performer from there, hence her spot against Alizeh in her LAW debut, it didn't necessarily mean she was the best wrestler from there. Or at least thats how Alizeh saw it, but she welcomed the mushroom themed girl to prove her wrong.

Nodding to herself and satisfied with her preparations Alizeh would turn and look herself in the mirror, just admiring her new grey and gold and green attire, still greatly impressed with how it came out before nodding to herself. 'Let's do this.' Alizeh said as she made her way out of the locker room and began making her way down the back stage halls, turning the heads of the crew workers as she did so as it wasn't often that Alizeh broke out this attire but it felt like a suitable occasion to do so in.

Stopping at the corner Alizeh would take a deep breath and wait as her opponent was apparently giving a bit of a pre match promo, smirking at this, as well as how Fungus described her Alzieh would nod as her music would finally kick on over the loud speakers with a crack of lightning and the blare of electric guiatars taking over the arena along with green and orange lights strobing throughout.

Stepping through the curtains and posing for the fans Alizeh would smile as then some of her own pyrotechnics would go off around her casting Alizeh's silhouette in sparks and light for a moment before she stepped forward, smiling and composed, high fiving fans in the front row as she made her way to the ring. In a way even this showed how Alizeh and her opponent were similar yet different. Both motivating and galvanizing the crowd just off their entrance, but while Fungus did so in a very cute and fun seeking way, Alizeh did it in a way that was a little aloof that exuded coolness, two sides of the same coin in a way.

Hopping onto the ring apron as she finished up Alizeh would slip between the ropes and look over her opponent with a smirk before approaching the center of the ring with her hand outstretched. "Hey welcome to LAW, and here's to a good match. Sorry in advance though since I'll be sending ya back to MWL with a loss." Alizeh said in a overall friendly tone while gaining a bit of a competitive and teasing glint towards the end.

MWL's ace didn't have to wait long for her opponent tonight to make an appearance. She introduced her and was signaling her entrance. Amid fantastic fireworks, a dazzling light show, and rock music that echoed throughout the arena (she had to admit it was pretty good, and it had her humming along), the star of tonight’s show made her entrance: a match between two of the biggest stars of their respective brands, Alizeh.

As expected, the company’s homegrown wrestler received the biggest ovation from the fans out of the two women. She was wearing a fabulous black-and-gold outfit that Caren quickly realized was meant for special occasions like the one she was about to face today against her. Although for a moment he regretted bringing his classic outfit instead of one of his unique PPV outfits, this further boosted the top star’s spirits for this match, a feeling she assumed was mutual with her opponent.

The contrast in their styles was evident just by watching their entrances: while one focused more on the visual spectacle, using details that were both endearing and daring (and at the same time spectacular) to hold the audience’s attention, maintaining that vibe at all times; the other was cooler, even aloof, as she relied more on what she was going to showcase in terms of technique in the ring. A perfect reflection of the philosophies of the leagues to which each belonged, yet with the same result: energizing the crowd with the anticipation of a showdown.

Finally, after all that, the Emerald Storm made her entrance into the ring. She was clearly much taller than Toad-Top, but that wasn’t a problem for her. She approached her with a smile, offering her hand for a cordial greeting, which the fans cheered.When they finished shaking hands, Fungus prepared to respond to the joking remark that greenhead had made: “Thanks for the welcome, Human Emerald. I, too, hope for a fight worthy of our reputation, but I noticed two flaws in what you said.” She raised one finger. “One: I came to L.A.W. to stay and thought I’d be just as far ahead as I was in M.W.L.” She raised another finger. “And two: even though you’re the home team, I’m going to kick your ass today,” she concluded.

After that competitive remark to show that both of them were serious, Fungus headed to her corner to kick off the main event. While waiting for the bell, Fungus thought about how to start the match, figuring that the first thing she’d need to do was take a breather to talk with her partner about what she should do and coordinate with her. Although it was going to be an impromptu fight, she was confident that her opponent would act professionally; besides being one of the most reliable and capable ring performers out there, today’s match was going to be spectacular.

Shaking hands with Fungus and smiling at the girl Alizeh was pleasantly surprised that things had started off in such a pleasant way between them, after all different as they may be they were both still wrestlers and Alizeh was glad to be the girl's first taste of LAW. Simultaneously though Alizeh was glad that the girl had a bit of bite to her as she shot right back at the green haired girl with some competitive words of her own that made Alizeh grin in excitement at the prospect of this challenge really turning up a notch. "We'll see about that." Alizeh shot back to the mushroom themed girl before backing up all the way to her corner, leaning against it for a moment and just waiting it out until finally...

Ding Ding

The bell would ring, officially starting the bout and prompting Alizeh to not waste any time. After all what better way to show Fungus what LAW was all about then hitting her hard and fast like lightning? Dashing forward across the ring and right towards Fungus, leaping up as she approached, pulling her legs back and aiming to thrust her feet forward to drive them into the girl's chest and hopefully knock her flat on her back right away!

DING DING DING

After a strong declaration of intent from both sides, showcasing their competitive spirit, and a handshake in a display of good sportsmanship, the two were excited and ready to kick off the main event of the night. The moment arrived as the bell rang, with both already in fighting stances, and the match finally began

Fungus had a clear idea of what to do first: start with a test of strength to see how she matched up against her opponent, a classic way to begin a fight to show who was superior in that area and to cover up the discussions she’d had with her opponent about how to steer the match. So the MWL ace advanced slowly, bit by bit, raising her arms in preparation for the confrontation, but Alizeh didn’t share her idea for starting things off this way.

The Emerald Storm sprinted toward the Mushroom Kaijin, and before she could even react or cover herself, she took a double kick to the chest that sent her straight onto her back on the mat (which felt harder than the one in her original league). Toad-Top was surprised by this start and by how much more it hurt than she expected, but she didn’t get angry at Alizeh over it. She knew that aerial moves were difficult because you couldn’t cheat gravity in wrestling, which made them hurt more, and she understood that LAW preferred more explosive and faster fights, so she let it go. Now she turned around and tried to recover by getting back to her feet.

Wanting to start the match off hard and fast to give Fungus a proper LAW welcome Alizeh was successful in landing her dropkick on the girl and sending her down to the mat. Rolling backwards to get back to her feet Alizeh would get onto a vertical base, smirking as she saw Fungus down on the mat and looking out of it as a result. Immediately moving in towards the Mushroom Kaijin Alizeh would reach forward, grabbing her in a headlock, pulling her to the center of the ring before grabbing the girl's hip and lifting up, trying to haul her foe's body into the air, holding her for a moment before tilting back to send her crashing down to the mat in a vertical suplex!

That opening move was something the Mushroom Kaijin didn’t see coming; she was caught off guard as she got up from her strange LAW greeting, and her emerald opponent wasn’t about to pass up the chance to grab the unguarded Fungus in a headlock. At first, Top-Toad thought this was her chance to discuss how to proceed with the match:“Okay, I didn’t see that coming. What are you planning to do?” But Alizeh didn’t even have to open her mouth to answer MWL’s Ace’s question, as she lifted the girl into the air, nearly causing her Zeta hat to fall off. Caren knew she had to act fast if she didn’t want to take a suplex right at the start of the match, so as soon as the Emerald Storm tilted her downward, in a display of impressive agility, her body leaned in the opposite direction, landing on her feet behind her opponent. The crowd went wild at this moment, but the Mushroom Girl had to take advantage of it and quickly ran to the ropes to use them as leverage to deliver a clothesline against her opponent, a move she planned to reverse two more times if her rival selling the hit properly.
