Kyo Akamatsu vs Rachel Kincaid (D)

Post by Underdoggo »

Match Type: Pure wrestling match
Victory conditions: Verbal submission or tapout only. The wrestler who wins two out of three falls wins the match. Each wrestler is only allowed a maximum of three rope breaks; after that rope breaks will not be counted.

The crowd was excited as the arena was cleared for yet another match tonight. This one was going to be a an intergender submission match, with the rarely used "pure wrestling" stipulation limiting rope breaks. This meant that this was bound to be a tense, hard fought affair. And, rumour had it, one of the competitors was having their debut match tonight.

Not the first fighter, though. The first fighter was well known by now.

The first of the fighters arrived to the sound of "Kanjite Knight" from the Mazinger Z soundtrack blaring on the intercom. To the cheers of the crowd, Kyo Akamatsu came striding into the ring. The Scion of the Ring had gained a huge fanbase before his epic iron person match against Valley Doll; his subsequent victory over her at We Are Law cemented his status as one of the rising stars of the intergender division. The crowd had come to admire his straightforward, no-nonsense attitude to wrestling and his honourable personality, so it was no surprise that he got quite a few cheers as he entered.

Sliding under the ropes, Kyo hopped up to his feet, gave a courteous bow to the audience, and settled into his corner. He hadn't done a match with a stipulation on rope breaks before; he was already figuring that he would have to use his rope breaks carefully, as if he went for them too often he could end up trapped and unable to escape in the middle of the ring. Then again, his opponent would probably be thinking the same thing. At the thought of his opponent, Kyo turned and watched the ramp, waiting to see who would be coming out to face him tonight...

Most people would be nervous about having their debut match with a major wrestling promotion. Especially if they were a woman about to face off against a male competitor who had a plethora of experience to draw from. But Rachel was like most people. She had conquered every opponent that had stood before her, male or female, and tonight would be no different. While her opponent might be someone of some renown, Rachel had plenty of tools in her arsenal to take him down. Tools that weren’t limited to just wrestling ability.

Rachel stepped out onto the stage to the sound of Pat Benatar. Despite being a fresh face to the crowd, she received no shortage of cheers. The perks on being a beautiful woman perhaps. A notion that was supported by the fact the she caught more than a few lecherous gazes on her as she walked down to the ring. But whether the fans were truly supporting her or if they were hoping to see her in a compromising position, she’d show them something you wouldn’t soon forget.

Rachel made a little show of stepping through the ropes. Bending over and sticking her chest out as she slipped under the middle and top rope. Once she was fully inside the ring she turned to her opponent and flashed her most charming smile and batted her eyelashes at him.

“A pleasure to make your acquaintance. I only hope that I can provide you with an adequate challenge.”
