With both women back on their feet, Ryouko still managed to gather herself to attack first, but it seemed that the kick had succeeded in dazing her at least a bit; her movements seemed slower, and as she came in with a knee strike aimed at Kate's belly, she would manage to slip to the side. Then she'd try sending one arm under the knee to hold the woman in place. If she could manage that, she would then reach from behind to grab her around the neck before lifting her up for a leg hook belly to back suplex that she'd then attempt to hold her opponent down in that position for a pin attempt!

Ryuko scowled as she missed but that look quickly turned to one of surprise as she was grabbed and lift up! Ryuko had no time to react and soon crashed painfully to the mat as Kat sent her smashing to the canvas! Ryuko groaned in agony and was now covered for a pin immediately in a tough position.

The official slid in to place and began to count as Ryuko kicked her free leg, flailed her arms and bucked her hips about while the officials count had begun.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

Ryuko howled and thrust out at two before flopping down to her side and reaching around to her back as the after effects of the suplex left her on the mat after kicking out.

It was unsurprising to Kate that Ryuko kicked out; the woman had proven to be tough, but still, it was worth a try, and regardless. Moreover, it seemed to have done some damage as the woman rolled over and nursed her back.

Not wanting to waste the opportunity, Kate would scramble to get on top of her, trying to get her hands under her chin to pull her chin up and arch her back to secure a camel clutch!

Ryuko managed to kick out but as soon she did Kate was already on top of her again and in motion. Ryuko was rolled over and her head was yanked back as her arms were draped over Kates kneeling legs. Ryuko shook her head and kicked her feet as she was stuck in the camel clutch! She howled in pain and thrashed about as much as she could, stuck for sure in this painful hold!

Ryuko needed to get her hands free, thrashing side to side to try to make enough room to allow her to get her arms mobile. She was going to try to reach up and pull at Kate's grip on her chin once her hands could get there but this hold was solid and Ryuko had her work cut out for her to try to enact her plan!

Kate was struggling to keep the hold tight, pulling tighter and tighter on the submission to make it as painful as she could, but her opponent was not making it easy, managing to free her arms and now opposing her grip, making Kate redouble her efforts, but she could feel her grip slipping, trying to shake the hold Ryuko had on her. Eventually, however, it did slip, allowing the force the woman put into herself to finally pull the grip Kate had on her down!

The sudden release of this much force made Kate tip over, rolling over her opponent, managing to spring back to her feet only to fall chest-first into the corner, arms over the top ropes, breathing heavily!

Ryuko saw Kate in the corner and had an idea to capitalize. This would either crush Kate... or leave Ryuko as the one slumped the corner. It wa a gamble Ryuko was willing to take. The Thunder Empress rushed in barreling full speed into the corner at Kate. She was looking to fly into her and crush Kate against the corner with all the speed as well as force as she could muster! Ryuko knew if this worked Kate would be crushed between Ryuko and the corner, but it this failed Ryuko would be smashing herself painfully against the turnbuckle.

Haveing hit the corrner took a bit of wind out of Kate, making her strugle a second to breath right before she started to push off the the ropes but that was enough time for her opponent to get to her feet and just as Kate was about to turn she got hit in the back with all the weight of Ryouko, getting pushed against the corrner so hard it felt like the pads weren't even there!

"Ghyyyya!" She cried out as the air got pushed out of her, and as soon as the other woman released her, she stumbled back, practically falling back into her arms for whatever she might have planned next!

Ryuko saw Kate stumbling back and readied herself. She had to hammer Kate. This woman wasn't going to go down easily so Ryuko knew offense in a moment like this required impact. She grabbed and lift Kate up into the air before angling her own body forward to fall down with Kate. Ryuko landed atop the woman and executed a spine buster with all the force she could. Ryuko would stay on top of Kate adjusting her position to lay across Kate's chest while hooking a leg.

The referee saw that she was going for a pin, sliding into position immediately and starting to count.

Kate was in a daze after the last move she took and was not able to defend herself while Ryuko was setting up her move. By the time she could do anything, she was already up in the air, held by her opponent, who was building up momentum. Split second later, she was slammed with a thunderous impact into the ground, the force of which shook the ring and rattled the cage!

"Thhaaaa!" She cried out, practically wheezing as the air left her, the blow feeling like it might just have broke her spine and made a perfect opening for the other woman to hook her leg for the pin!

"One!"

"Two!"

Then she kicked out, groaning in pain but determined not to go down that easily, she would try to keep a hold of Ryuko and roll them over, throwing down a few punches and elbow strikes to get an opening, and when she did, she'd grab her arm, bending it back while wrapping her other arm around her head for an anaconda vice!
