Style: Apex Predator
APEX PREDATOR: He relies on two things in a match: offense, and more aggressive offense. What makes him dangerous, aside from the strength and tenacity with which he executes this gameplan, is the malleability of that offense. His go-to is overwhelming force and brutality, utilizing hard slams, crushing submissions, and punishing blows. But if the opponent seems noticeably skillful on defense, that strategy is likely to change into a craftier approach, utilizing maneuverability and aerial technique to force an opening.

Match Types:
Most anything. The more "legitimate," the better. Less likely to go for hentai or "soft" matches, at least in any official capacity. His objective is to dominate the opponent in a convincing fashion, so the more incontrovertible the result to him, the better.

Physical Stats:
• Strength: 5/5 -
His greatest asset. His body is tightly dense muscle in a sleek frame, refined and powerful.
• Endurance: 4/5 -
His body has been honed through the crucible of physical competition and struggle. His body's dense muscletone isn't for show.
• Stamina: 4/5 -
His body is an athletic machine. If the opponent is hoping to exhaust him, they have a long road ahead.
• Agility: 3.5/5 -
Apex's body contains no wasted space, no useless weight. He's capable of sudden bursts of speed as a predator bearing down prey, climbing quickly, and leaping with accuracy.

Wrestler Stats:
• Strikes: 3/5 –
When Apex puts his strength behind a strike, it's going to have a shocking impact. Though he makes use of strikes, they're usually as setups to bigger, better things or momentum builders.
• Technical: 3/5 -
Apex has a solid grasp of the technical side of grappling, and it serves as a solid fallback for those situations where he runs into a physically bigger or stronger opponent. But the submission holds he brings to bear tend to be strength and power-based, such as crushing squeezes and brutal stretches.
• Powerhouse: 5/5 –
The premium of his moveset, utilized to devastating effect. When he gets ahold of an opponent, it's going to hurt.
• Aerials: 4/5 –
The crafty hunter avoids relying exclusively on a single tool. His aerial ability is an often unnoticed ace in his arsenal, utilized when he finds prey with noticeable defense or technical skill, swapping from relying on overwhelming strength to launching from unexpected angles.
• Counters: 2/5 –
Apex is mostly focused on unrelenting, overwhelming offense and force. If he counters, it's usually with an extremely stiff and bone-rattling slam or strike out of nowhere.

Signature Moves:
• Damocles:
Usually performed at a full sprint, Apex hunkers low and launches himself at his opponent. The movement ends with his shoulder
impacting and plunging hard into the belly of his opponent. (See: Striking Spear)
• Cataclysm:
With an opponent lying faceup on the mat, Apex dives from the top rope. Limbs tuck in, then whip back on the descent, pulling his abdominals taut to slam with meteoric force across the opponent's belly. No frills needed. (See: Frog Splash)
• The Crucible:
With an opponent facedown on the mat, Apex mounts them to lock in a camel clutch. And after a moment, he hooks their arm
behind his neck, and their chin beneath his arm to transition into a modified dragon sleeper, intensifying the stretch. His free
hand begins either pummeling their ribs and midsection, or applying a stomach claw to make the hold more agonizing and
debilitating, if they can hold out without submitting. (See: camel Clutch Dragon Sleeper Fusion With Abdominal Torture)
• Sacrifice:
If Apex catches an opponent in a backbreaker, he may keep them arched against his knee. One hand sets against their chin, the other hand
against their thigh or hips, both pressing in to force the angle tighter and torturous. Should the opponent start to go slack in the hold,
he'll lift his hands and bring them down together in a pulverizing double axe handle blow against their taut and unprotected belly. (See: Backbreaker Into Double Axe Handle)

Finishing Moves:
• Audience Appeal:
The way Apex prefers to end his matches. When an opponent has been beaten beyond the point of ability to resist him, he'll
usually hold them by the throat or around the waist with one arm, and raise a thumb to the audience, letting them decide
his opponent's fate.
THUMBS UP: Mercy. They get the Natural Selection finish.
THUMBS DOWN: No Mercy. They get the Extinction Event finish.
Image
If the audience calls for mercy, Apex pulls the opponent into a grinding bearhug. He sustains it, slowly crushing them until
they go slack on him. Afterwards, he then lets them drop to the mat, or 'taps' them to topple them. Once they're lying on
their back, Apex lies atop them for a pin finish that's both physically and visually dominant. (See: Crushing Bearhug)

If the audience declares no mercy for his opponent, Apex hoists the opponent with one arm around their hips while
securing them facedown over his shoulder. The other arm hugs their upper-body against his, their chest to his abs,
his chest against their stomach. Rushing forward, Apex will leap into the air and drive them down to the mat with
a ring-shuddering powerslam to end them, crushing their body beneath his. Afterwards, he typically lies over his
opponent like that - hips against their face, chest to stomach, one leg hooked for a dominant pin. (See: Running Powerslam)

Personality:
Apex is a confident, cocky wrestler out to dominate opponents. He's happy to take any challenger, no matter the stipulation, to prove he's the best there is; the top of the proverbial food chain. Moreover, he wants the audience to know he's the best. He's not satisfied until his foe is completely beaten, and he's the clear winner. Perhaps ironic, this tends to keep him from going for cheap wins, but not cheap shots. If he gets a win too early, he may in fact choose to stick around and continue beating on his foe until it's clear he's the better. Or alternatively, signal the match to start again just to keep things going.

Chance, on the other hand, is an upbeat, jocular young skunk who most would describe as friendly and approachable. He's an optimistic, 'glass half full' type and fun-loving; an extroverted, energetic person who errs on positivity. Despite his adventurous, thrillseeking, and even playful personality, Chance can also be surprisingly soulful and subdued at times. Though these times are more of a rarity.

When the skunk became a professional wrestler, he embraced his theatric side and created the cocky, dominant persona for the ring. He enjoys the split from his true self, though there are some notable bleedovers from his true personality into the character. After the dedication and training Chance has poured into professional wrestling, he is quite confident, and even a little cocky. He'll play it up at times even out of the ring for the sake of stirring competition, which he loves. The dominant and forceful aspects of Apex come from more guilty side of Chance, though - he may secretly love physically dominating an opponent in the ring. It runs contrary to his kind nature, but the persona gives him license to indulge. Chance created Apex out of what he sees as his personal flaws, kicked up a notch. That, however, doesn't mean he doesn't enjoy it.

Chance is passionate about life in general, and professional wrestling is one of its highlights for him. Though the persona isn't reflective of his true self, he absolutely brings everything he's got to the ring with the intention to beat his opponent. Showmanship is important to him, as he acknowledges it's an entertainment business, but he wrestles and trains to be the best. Sometimes the persona creates problems along the way, but to him, that's just a part of the business. Naturally competitive, he carries a strong drive to win.

History:
Full Details
Chance's background isn't particularly complicated. When he was young and growing up in Los Angeles, he wanted to be a movie star. It was a common dream, and his parents supported him, but he was a lone face in a sea of other aspirants just like him. As he got a little older, he stopped caring specifically if it was for movies or television - he just wanted to be famous. However, directionless, he wasn't succeeding much at that either. That is, until he began getting into fights. As teens are wont to do, these fights were recorded and distributed. His ability to rile an crowd, paired with his dogged tenacity in a fight, earned him some notoriety. It also earned him the burning ire of his parents.

Taking an active role in their son's development, they switched him to a much stricter, private school. And at about that time, Chance became a fan of professional wrestling. Seeing a wrestler work a crowd, and the physical nature of the sport, the competition, all of it appealed to him. These people were famous for dominating opponents in a ring to the roar of countless spectators. It was like modern gladiators. He wanted that. And thankfully, his parents approved of that being his method to stardom. They underestimated the zeal he'd display in his training, however.

With the exception of schoolwork, professional wrestling training and physical conditioning became Chance's life. He had no intentions to pursue higher learning. To his benefit, when he turned 18, he took the indie circuit by storm. Through the course of his first year, he learned just how much the sport appealed to him. He created the Apex persona in an effort to really make a name for himself - literally - and has been pushing for global stardom ever since.

Fun Facts:
• Stereotyping...: Chance absolutely HATES the "all skunks stink" stereotype. It's a hotbutton with him.
• ...Aren't Always True!: As it happens, Chance doesn't stink!
• Inverted Expectations: With respects to his species, the irony of his gimmick as "The Apex Predator" isn't lost on him. That said, he's very proud of his ability and skill.
• It's Official: Apex belongs to an anthro-oriented federation called the Jungle Wrestling Alliance. See the gallery for image examples!
