(Emerald) Storm Chasing

Sammi's cute energy and looks helped her hide just how self-aware she was. The little-lioness-that-could knew good and well when she proposed the idea for a spar that she would be out of her depth. To her, this would be a learning experience. A chance to find out what it took to actually hang in the ring with a tried and true LAW veteran! And for boldness and brashness in trying to get one over in The Emerald Storm, poor Sammi endured the pain of A Thousand Years of Death! The perky pinkette knew that her bum wouldn't be feeling perky for quite a while! She continued to rub her hurting bum with her free hand even as she made her request for no more attacks or moves that specifically targeted it!

"Ah, okay. That's okay, I guess. It's about as good as I'm gonna get. Ow...." Defoe cooed as she slowly got one foot underneath her and rose up.

"I'm glad one of us is having fun! Well, actually, that's a lie, this is kinda fun even if it hurts. But I wanna actually learn something! You're The Emerald Storm, right? You're on the event posters! You're fighting for championships! You're doing main event matches!" Sammi's tone grew more sincere and respectful as she went on.

"As an aspiring Lioness, I wanna get there! I wanna be like you! But I can't get there- I can't learn from you if you play with your food!" Sammi balled her fists and put her little dukes up. She narrowed her eyes. She squared up to Alizeh properly!

"Ten seconds. Just take me seriously for ten seconds, please! I need to see how big the gap is between us. I need to see how far I still need to go!" Sammi would raise her voice before charging at Midori in the hopes of hitting her with a clubbing Forearm to the chest! The strike was telegraphed! Sammi was still clearly pushing herself past the limits of her stamina! But she wasn't about to quit! She wasn't about to let this spar end without speaking from the heart and without being taken seriously by a woman she looked up to and wanted to learn from!

Alizeh was genuinely having fun with Sammi, even if she wasn't actually taking this as seriously as could be Alizeh was finding Sammi's energy infectious and the girl was definitely wholesome in a way. Even if she really didn't necessarily agree with the girl's decision to challenge her here and now but she was trying to take it easy on her as a result.

Though it appeared that Sammi didn't quite agree with her sentiment, vehemently so in fact as she put her fists up declaring that she wouldn't learn anything if Alizeh didn't fight like she meant it. As such she wanted Alizeh to take her seriously for ten seconds.

"Ten seconds huh?" Alizeh asked for confirmation before nodding. "Alright, I can do that, but remember you asked for it." Alizeh said, gradually developing a more serious tone and expression as she set herself forward and looked at Sammi, preparing herself both physically and mentally.

As such the moment she came running at the green haired girl with a raised arm up.... Alizeh would spring into action at the last moment. Turning to the side suddenly and pivoting, reaching up and grabbing Sammi's arm as she passed in the process. If successful Alizeh would lift her leg up while pulling Sammi's arm out, resting her leg over the trapped limb with her foot braced against the woman's face in the process.

All before Alizeh would fall backwards, slamming the woman's face against her foot before turning and twisting on the mat, pulling Sammi along with her as Alizeh got to a seated position, grabbing Sammi's leg as she did so and pulling it up and over her shoulder to lock in her finisher move, Emerald Twilight on Sammi in the ten seconds she was taking her seriously!

"Mhmm! Mhmm!" Sammi nodded excitedly!

"Thank you! That means so much to me! You won't regret this!" The perky pinkette took a deep breath and closed her eyes. Slowly, she opened them and tried to refocus her attention on her sparring partner.

Little Sammi knew full well what Alizeh was capable of! How iron sharpens iron, and how much she could stand to learn from fighting The Emerald Storm seriously, even for just a few moments!

"Okay, I'm ready! I know what I'm getting myself into!" Sammi hunched forward slightly with her fists still balled. She nodded to Midori. Sammi could tell that Alizeh was about to finally get into gear! She watched the greenette closely! And in the blink of an eye, she would be taken aback when Alizeh speed blitzed her!

"Huh?! I've seen this one before! I'll just-!" Defoe raised her arm to match Alizeh! She tried to react and play some sort of defense. But the spunky middleweight wasn't moving the same way she was before! Midori effortlessly slipped by a bewildered Sammi! Without even realizing it, the greenette snatched her hand for some wrist control and leverage!

Before the lightweight lass could react, Alizeh had already lifted her leg, bracing her foot against Sammi's cheek to set her up for a serious helping of Sole Food! When the girl fell backwards, all of that momentum coalesced into the side of Sammi's face being impacted by Alizeh's gym sneaker! Sammi was pulled down into a doubled-over position before flopping lifelessly down onto the canvas on her front!

Defoe fell into a face-down position! Her ample hair hid the stunned expression on her face, but she was seeing stars! Alizeh met no resistance from Sammi when she grabbed hold of the lightweight's bare leg and hooked it over her shoulder to complete the sequence that was her Emerald Twilight finisher, and trap Sammi in her submission finisher! A Muffler Stretch hold!

"Ahhhhh!" The pain that raced down Sammi's leg and lower spine resuscitated her! Immediately making her show signs of life and immediately drawing a submission from her!

"I give! I give! I give!" Defoe tapped the mat over and over again while whining in pain!

If and when Alizeh released her, Sammi would remain on the canvas and rub her lower back with one hand while remarking on the gap between her and an established LAW star.

"Owwww ow ow ow ow. Geez!" Sammi closed her eyes, her face still grimacing.

"I've seen it a million times on TV and online and stuff in your matches....but actually taking your finisher? It's something else! It reminds me of a dance. It's as artful as it is fast....and painful, heheh...ow...!"

Sammi had challenged Alizeh to go all out and stop playing with her as she had been for the last couple of minutes or so since the spar between them had started so Alizeh was willing to oblige the girl... even if she was about to regret it. Big time.

Blitzing past the clumsy offense of Defoe and catching her quickly wrist before lifting her leg to place her foot on the lioness's face... and then dropping down thunderously banging the girl's head against her heel for the first part of her move!

But it wouldn't be long before Alizeh spun up into a kneeling position, trapping her sparring partner's arm and proceeding to grab and pull her leg up for a tight and brutal stretch muffler variation, one rather famously known from her as the Emerald Twilight!

A move that Sammi was evidently familiar with as she almost immediately began tapping out wildly as she was subjected to the move's wrath. Luckily for the learner however Alizeh was just as quick to release Defoe's leg and then arm from her clutches.

After doing so Alizeh would turn over and adjust herself while still on one knee to look down over the hurting lioness rubbing her back before reaching out to gently grab Sammi's hand and move it out of the way before placing her own hands on her younger compatriot's back.

"Here, a friend of mine showed me some good message techniques, should help out with the pain." Alizeh said as she began rubbing and pushing palms into Defoe's back but she wouldn't do so silently.

"Good way to describe my move by the way. Hehe, glad to know it has its admirers, I designed it to be as fluid a transition from one move to another as possible so in practice it was essentially one, and would overwhelm anyone unfortunate enough to be caught in it... I'm guessing though you got a taste of that first hand as well though hehe." Alizeh would say assuming Sammi allowed her to message her, but also pausing to allow the younger woman a chance to respond as well.

Sammi wished she could say that her tapped out quickly out of familiarity with the move or from having the fight sense to know she was caught in such a way that there was nothing else she could do. In time, experience and training, and perhaps time spent with wrestlers of Alizeh's caliber would teach the ambitious Young Lioness to endure and to assess her options. But for now, the perky pinkette wouldn't hesitate to learn the hard way in the gym's practice rings so that she could hone her skills and be ready for the real thing.

"Aaah aaaah aaaah, hmm?" Defoe was still writhing in a prone position on the mat, rubbing the small of her back with her hand, when Alizeh gently took her hand and moved it aside so that she could begin massaging the tender area and alleviate some of the pain.

"Mmmm yeah, yeah that helps! Hits the spot! Thank youuuuu~" The lightweight purred as Midori

You know, for being the toughest wrestler I've met so far, you've got a surprisingly tender touch, did you know that?" Defoe smiled. She hummed with delight.

"I really appreciate it!" Sammi put her hands together when Midori paused.

"If you don't mind patching me up again, I'd love to go another round! Matter of fact, I wanna wrestle you for real! In an official match! If I manage to beat you in a spar, you gotta face me in a real match, okay?" Sammi pushed her upper body up from the mat and bent back to wink at her new friend.

Alizeh smiled a bit as she saw the relief practically surging throughout Sammi's body as she messaged her, glad that she had been able to at least help a little with the fatigue she had caused, even if it was at Sammi's own insistence. Whatever the case however Alizeh would soon stop and sit up offering a nod as Sammi appreciated her work.

"Heh no problem at all." Alizeh said at first before grinning teasingly as Sammi mentioned her having a tender touch. "Well you know, for being able to cause great pain also gotta be able to alleviate it too. But you're definitely on a short list of peoplpe who've felt my magic fingers." Alizeh said while doing a finger wave at Sammi before standing up, prepared to end their little session but then Sammi had something to say namely another challenge which made Alizeh frown.

"I mean if you want a match you just have to ask. Cause no offense in you're current state I doubt you could beat me." Alizeh said but simultaneously she knew in the short time since meeting Sammi that this girl was determined. So regardless of how bad an idea something was she'd do it so after a moment of thought Alizeh would sigh before offering a small smile. "How about a compromise. No matter what you can have a official match against me, I have no problem with that." Alizeh said before holding her hand up.

"But if you want to prove that you have what it takes to be a threat in said match here's what we'll do." Alizeh promised as she stepped towards the center of the ring and pointed at a clock on the wall showing just five minutes before midnight. "Go ahead and choose any submission you want to use on me. If you can get me to tap out or hell, even pass out before the midnight tone sounds then I'll let you decide any stipulation you want for our match and if you can't get me to give in then it'll just be a regular standard match, how's that sound?" Alizeh finally asked as she laid her idea out before Sammi, hopeful it'd convince her out of a full on spar.
