Battle of the Maids: Fleur Beaufort vs Grayfia Lucifuge

Fleur's debut had been a roaring success. Not only did she win in dominant fashion, but she also captured the hearts of the LAW audience as she did so. Or at least, that was what she had been told by management when they contacted her for her next match. Her next opponent, a woman by the name of Grayfia Lucifuge, was apparently a maid like herself. Whether she was an actual maid or if it was just a gimmick wasn't immediately clear, though if it was the latter then they were really going all out for it as the match was set to take place in a mansion.

As Fleur walked up the steps leading to the front door of the opulent mansion, she felt of rush of emotion as memories of a life that she had seemingly left not so long ago came rushing back all at once. She forced those emotions down and steeled herself to focus on the task at hand. Schooling her features into a neutral expression, Fleur approached the door and knocked on it to announce her arrival to the occupants inside.

Meanwhile, Grayfia was just dusting the mansion windows. Having heard that she was facing another maid by upper management, she couldn't help but be curious by it and it was pretty rare to go up against someone who is or was using the maid status as a gimmick. But regardless, she was curious to participate anyways.

Cleaning up the windows in the living room, Grayfia would hear the knock on the door and went to inspect it. "Good afternoon master-" it wasn't her master... it was the maid who was sent here to fight Grayfia, "my my...~ you must be the maid upper management was referring to correct?" Grayfia asked Fleur before greeting her inside as she went to make tea for the two of them.

“Yes, my name is Fleur Beaufort. You must be Grayfia then. A pleasure to make your acquaintance.” Fleur greeted with a polite bow, the kind that she had done a thousand times before. She followed the other maid as she led her through the mansion. Eventually, they reached a living room where Grayfia offered her tea to which Fleur graciously accepted.

It was quite rare for Fleur to be on the receiving end of such treatment. It was to the point where she had to fight the urge to prepare the tea herself. But she was the guest here so she would act like it, at least until the match started.

Once the tea was ready, Fleur thanked her host and a took sip. “So Ms. Lucifuge, this wouldn’t happen to be household you work for, would it?”

"Yes, this is my master's household," Grayfia nodded in agreement as she drank her tea while examining Fluer on an eye level. It was clear like Grayfia that she too was also an elegant woman, yet her interesting features aside from her hair cut was surprisingly the embroidery sewn onto her skirt, suggesting that she was probably a spider. Was she really a spider too (gimmick-wise)?

"And what about you? I take it that you're more of a solo person right?" asked Grayfia out of curiousity.

“I suppose you could say that. The household I once served fell to financial ruin. I’ve been on my own ever since.” Fleur explained in between sips of tea. All the while she examined Grayfia. It was clear from the way she moved and the way she carried herself that she was in fact a genuine maid. What was less clear was her ability as a combatant, though Fleur had the distinct feeling that Grayfia would be a formidable opponent.

“By the way, is your master really okay with us using their mansion for what we’re going to do?”

"Ah, i see." noted Grayfia as she puts aside her cup of tea, "Well, if it makes you feel any better, I can always use my contact to help you find someone or somewhere to take care of." offered Grayfia as she suddenly got up and straddled onto Fleur's thighs to get a closer look at the maid's face as well as her features.

"Yes, my master is okay with us... making out as long as it's done in my bedroom~" answered Grayfia before getting off Fleur to lead the way to Grayfia's bedroom where the match would take place in.

“It’s something I would have to think about, but I appreciate the offer.” Fleur replied evenly even as the other maid invaded her personal space. If she had gotten flustered by something like this then it wouldn’t bode well for their match.

Fleur was being honest in regards to Grayfia’s offer. Given the way things ended with her previous household, she wasn’t sure if she was really ready to start serving another so soon or even if she wanted to do so at all. It was a question that would require a bit of soul searching to answer, though it was also a question that could wait. She still had a job to do here after all.

Once Grayfia finally backed away, Fleur finished her tea and followed the other woman to the bedroom where the match was to take place. The room was relatively simple compared to the rest of the mansion but it was still rather comfortable. Due to the nature of match, Fleur hadn’t bothered to bring her ring gear. Instead, she simply stripped down to her underwear before climbing onto the bed.
