Angels Reunited: Toshimi Minami vs Blade Uehara

Minami was feeling in full control at this point in the match, having nearly destroyed her old colleague's knee and literally dog walking her to the center where Minami sought to take the last step in this match before going for the cherry on top. However Blade would surprise Minami not only with her endurance, but her presence of mind to be able to turn things around as she spun ON Minami's shoulders and managed to grab her head in the process and drag her down as well, spiking Minami's head into the mat with eyes wide and a cry of pain! "AGH!" Minami cried out, her body bouncing up and actually balancing vertically on her skull for a moment before collapsing down onto the mat with a dazed expression on her face!

Arising from the smoldering ashes akin to spiky-haired phoenix, Blade awakened the crestfallen arena into rallied ovation and hollered enthusiasm once the fan favorite planted a Toshimi tree only timbering to her back after several seconds. The Okinawan languishing on the canvas before beginning to soldier up to a hobbled stance with visceral anguish on her facials, clearly favoring one leg over the other all throughout her staggered steps towards one of the corner turnbuckles. Intermittently slapping her own face as a means of feeding off the spiked adrenaline surge, take her mind off the excruciating knee pains, and make her concentrate on the task at hand. Blade climbing the turnbuckle and miraculously balancing herself on the top ropes before taking to the sky in a breathtaking corkscrew shooting star press known as Blade's Edge~...Blade herself bounding off Toshimi in bellowed misery from reignited knees aches, several precious seconds passing before she'd scramble towards her foe and pounce on Toshimi for an attempted pin count with one of her legs hooked in the air!!!

Minami was in a world of agony right now as she laid on the mat, trying to blink and gain some semblance of thought back into her mind but every time she tried her mind was derailed with a new surge of pain for daring such an act. Blade's ddt was the cause of such a state, completely wrecking the woman in one fell swoop unlike the collective damage Minami had done with several moves. The benefit of such a high risk, high reward style coming into play. Rolling over onto her back Minami would have the chance to look around her. They weren't in the center of the ring, but rather off to one side, the ropes themselves were maybe a good few feet. Not far. Maybe if it came down to it she could roll out to the floor? No that'd be opening herself up to a whole new range of attacks Blade could go for with such a vantage point. Wait. Now that Minami thought about it where was Blade? Scanning the ring Minami didn't see her so were.

Then Minami spotted her. Across the space and at the top of the turnbuckle clearly getting ready for something massive and already Minami knew there was nothing she could do, no way she could move or get up in time, she was screwed! 'Unless...' Minami thought to herself, bracing her body as much as possible and getting ready as Blade leap off the turnbuckle, descending through the air before finally crashing down on Minami's prone form! "AGHHHH!" Minami cried out loudly in pain, her legs and arms coming up as a result before flopping back down to the mat, leaving her vulnerable but not without a few seconds to breathe and try to sort herself before Blade covered her for a pinfall attempt that quickly hit one!

'TWO!!"

"THR- ROPE BREAK!"

True enough just before the pin fall could be finished Minami had extended her leg out to lay her foot on the bottom rope, having had just enough time to recover enough to do so, thankfully remembering where the ropes were precisely from before Blade took flight, that ring awareness and precious seconds to breath coming in clutch to keep her in this contest!

Each bad decision Blade perpetrated throughout the match came back with an inflamed vengeance as the Aerial Artist painted a captivating portrait with one spiraling splashdown centered upon her adversary's midsection. The ring quaking plummet reigniting the searing discomfort throughout her body from having been Toshimi's personal submission dummy for the past few minutes, Blade writhing a few feet away thanks to the recoiled aftershock with her tormented face buried into the canvas. A rousing ovation from the enthralled audience compelling Blade into summoning the willpower necessary in order to soldier through her pain and make an assertive pin attempt upon the spread-eagled submissionist. Invaluable seconds having ticked off the clock in the unfortunate process as Blade's back settled against Toshimi's squished bosom, the official counting down with each emphatic slap seemingly cementing an absolute upset win between heralded W.A. veterans in Blade's favor...denied. A confused Blade directing her baffled ire towards the referee after ceasing her pin count and who was now frantically pointing at Toshimi's left leg hooked over the bottom rope.

A spirit shattering sight that brought Blade into crestfallen despondency as she clutched her spiky-haired head knowing full well that the match was practically within her hands were it not for the scant few seconds spent struggling to attain the pin count. Jeered discontent and booed indignation projected at the official only doing his job with Blade opting to redirect her despair into more fruitful avenues, namely continuing onward with the match via rising at a staggered pace with Toshimi's headlocked cranium compelling her to ascend as well. "Ya know what?...*pant*...S'fine with me. Just means I get to tax your fatass even more for makin' my life a living hell..." Blade snarled as she positioned Toshimi so her back was nudged against the turnbuckle, a knee strike swatted against Tosh's crumbled midsection being the satisfying preamble before hefting her foe's supple backside into the top turnbuckle. The Okinawan following afterward with both of her feet balanced upon the middle ropes and soon afterward the adjacent top ropes, one hand clenched onto the side of Toshimi's leotard with the other arm coiled around her head with what would be an attempted Top Turnbuckle Brainbuster~...

A last second rope break had been enough for Minami to keep herself in this match and prevent Blade from clinching the win but unfortunately it didn't allow her to instantly recover or gain a second wind. Allowing Blade to pick right back up where she had left off. Standing back to her feet while lifting Minami up right along with her in the process, groaning along the way as she did so and not being able to do much as she was then flung at the ring corner and drilled into with a extra knee for good measure! "Ngh!" Minami cried out in pain, more than likely about to drop down into a seated position if not for the fact that Blade held onto her, forcing her upwards to the top of the corner, following her there for something that would no doubt be terrible! "Ngh! No!" Minami grunted, trying to slap and push against Blade's body, but that knee had robbed her of her breath and left Minami unable to muster the strength she needed as she was then lifted up and dropped down hard on top of the turnbuckle with a brain buster! "NGH!" Minami cried out in pain, ending up on her feet for a moment and stumbling back with her eyes crossed for a moment before she collapsed backwards onto the mat spread eagle!

Thankful though Toshimi may have been for the miraculous rope break, the downsides were perhaps now becoming more apparent as Blade ended up channeling that wrathful aggravation into making sure the submissionist regretted continuing this match in the first place. Heralded though Blade may have been for her breathtaking aerial techniques, the Okinawan was no slouch when it came to innovative offenses back on ground level either. Socking Toshimi in the breadbasket leaving her winded and compliant with being shepherded onto the top turnbuckle and deftly upheld into a stalled vertical superplex position. Except Blade would subvert those expectations by having Toshimi's brain scrambled once dumped cranium first onto the top turnbuckle. "OHHH!!!" Awe-struck fans reacting appropriately with hands on their hands and even several on their feet as Toshimi backpedaled into a comedic pratfall with ringside cameras catching her cross-eyed stupor.

Blade panting against the ropes and taking a breather herself since keeping Toshimi uplifted for that long was no effortless feat, but eventually getting back to work by approaching the spread-eagled submissionist and yanking her by her arms back to be seated against the corner turnbuckle. The defiant aerialist flipping Toshimi off right to her delirious face for a thunderous crowd pop before sprinting back to the opposite side of the ring and beating feet back to her grounded adversary. Blade swiveling around in time to cream Toshimi's face in an emphatic hip attack, smushed facials sunken into her punkish posterior. A lackadaisical stance taken as Blade stretched and yawned with a circular swivel of her hips as tacked on humiliation before standing upright and ascending the ropes above Toshimi. "Let's fucking go!!!" Playing to her fandom once again with feet perched on the middle ropes before hiking upward and attempting to stamp her sneakered feet into the submissionists heaving chest.

Minami was.... Not in a good place following that massive brain buster she suffered at the hands of Blade. Performing an embarrassing fall as a result of the force and momentum of the drop leaving Minami flat on her back and barely able to think as she looked up at the lights which looked out of focus and blurry now making Minami curse under her breath. Doubly so as within moments the shadow of her opponent would descend upon her and against her will Minami found herself picked up and dragged backwards till she was propped up against the corner. 'damn it...' Minami thought to herself, looking up just in time to see a middle finger shoved in her face before Blade took off.

'No... need to move... need to-' "MMMPH!" Minami's train of thought was stalled and replaced with a muffled cry of pain as Blade's surprisingly full rear end smashed into her face, the impact definitely hurting her on top of smothering her. What made it infinitely worse however was Blade actively taking the time to swivel her hips and grind her rear end into Minami's face, making the woman growl softly and clench her hands in fury as a new wave of adrenaline hit. No way. No way in hell could Minami allow this to stand. Finally as Blade relented and pulled away Minami would take a sharp inhale of oxygen before focusing on her opponent with renewed vision.

This maybe her last gasp as it were, and Minami needed to make it worthwhile as she watched Blade ascend the corner, confident, sure of herself, too sure of herself now after believing that Minami was out of it and helpless. A mistake that would cost her dearly. Watching intently as Blade came back down at her Minami would wait until the last moment before suddenly the Venus of submissions would twist hereslf sharply to the side, going under the ropes and out of the ring to allow Blade's attack to miss entirely! If this was timed correctly then Minami would grab hold of Blade's ankle pulling her leg out of the ring... and then jumping while twisting to the side, aiming to perform a dragon screw to Blade's leg that would send the limb brutally crashing into the corner!

Blade loves it when a plan comes together. The Aerial Artist taking an imaginary puff of smoke from her imaginary cigar as she continued taking her time in satiating the rebellious renegade within her psyche. Toshimi's conceited maliciousness having earned the submissionist some flipped birds and the confirmed assertion that Blade packed a caked backside behind those wrestling shorts of hers. She just opted not to flaunt those curves as much as other Wrestle Angels considering she sought acknowledgment as a wrestler due to her skills in the ring first and foremost, but even core tenets of her wrestling principles were disregarded at the cathartic prospect of the uptight submissionist puckering up against her punkish derriere with head swirling undulations as compounded embarrassment. One phase of Blade's aforementioned plan meant to be a continuous assault geared towards whittling down whatever endurance remained until one decisive splashdown would be all it takes to make Toshimi a flaccid starfish primed for pinning. Concerns arose though that Toshimi may wind up becoming more enthralled than offended given that the Venus was taken underneath Freiya's black feathered wing...

...but Blade arose regardless and ascended the corner turnbuckle. Riling up the audience to the cacophonous sounds of bellowed adulation in response, confirming that Blade wasn't the only one in the arena eager to witness the vainglorious Venus toppled from her conceited throne tonight. Although in hindsight, it was time Blade may end up wishing she had back as her attempted double-footed stomp onto Toshimi's breadbasket whiffed entirely with the aerialist losing her footing somewhat. Unbalanced but otherwise copacetic with a wavered stance...until panic-stricken dread overwhelmed her senses once feeling her leg yanked out from under her. "NoNoNoNoNoNo!!!" Blade blathering fervent denials with scrambled attempts at yanking her leg back all failing until white hot incineration blasted throughout her limb from the Dragon Screw smashing of her leg into the corner turnbuckle. Pitched wails preceded Blade cradling her knee back inside the ring, the same strained leg targeted consecutively throughout the match. Blade gnashing her teeth and waving off the referee attempting to address any possible injury, now more concerned with her struggling attempts to arise once again on a hobbled leg.

Close. That was way too close for Minami's liking. Any later with her roll out and she would have been squished under Blade's surprisingly bubbly rear end. Frankly she didn't like how close this whole match was up to this point and right now the Venus of Submissions was looking for anything she could get her hands on to get the advantage firmly in her hands to end this bout once and for all.

Though thankfully Blade had presented this opportunity to her on a silver platter via her leg oh so close to the corner which Minami didn't hesitate to dragon screw into the corner with all she had in her. Smirking cruelly at the cries of agony emanating from the ring Minami would hop back onto the corner smirking down at her foe from the other side of the ropes.

"What's wrong Blade? Not having fun anymore?" Minami asked sarcastically while her hands gripped the top ropes and a moment later she'd vault clear over them, back into the ring, aiming to land with a kick to Blade's back as she tried to hobble up to send her back down to the mat! If successful with this then Minami would then reach down, grabbing Blade's leg and forcefully dragging her from the corner to the center of the ring, her domain where she stood poised to lock in any number of vicious leg submissions to end this.... Only she hadn't had her fun yet.

"Remember... You brought this upon yourself." Minami promised as she then gathered her foe's leg up into the air before driving it down smashing Blade's knee into the mat with a knee smash, followed by another and then on the third one Minami would lift her own leg up and bring it down as she brought Blade's knee down, smashing the joint before brutally stomping on it right after!
