Mighty Yukiko v.s. Death Bunny - Bunnies, Death, and Wrestling!

Post by Teenwrestler »

Match type: standard
Victory conditions: pinfall, submission, knockout, disqualification

Back in action.

The Mighty Yukiko was finally back in action after a long hiatus. The last time she was seen wrestling in a LAW ring was back in the APEX tournament, when she had faced Belinda Northman in what was an excellent showing between the two female wrestlers. Now, she was once again ready to show the fans of LAW just why she was considered one of the best wrestlers in Japan and the "Warrior of Flame". "Alright. Time to get to work and put on a show and...*stomach growls* Uhh, I should have eaten something. Man, I'm hungry. Hmm maybe I can get some ramen after this" she thought to herself, placing her index finger on her chin and thinking out loud about food. Yukiko then shook her head wildly, "Nononono, now is not the time to think about food. Focus, Yukiko! You have a match coming up" she said, lightly tapping her cheeks to keep her focus. The only thing that trumped her love for food was her love for wrestling, so the Mighty one had to keep her focus up given that she didn't know much about her mysterious opponent.

The Pinkette was in her locker room, wearing her signature baby blue wrestling one piece with her orange jacket. She was sitting on the bench, getting ready for her match while trying to remain focused and not be distracted by other things- more importantly her unsatiable hunger.

When she was finally done getting ready, she would get back up to her feet and nod, pumping her fist in the air. "ALRIGHT! LETS DO THIS" she said before heading out to the LAW Arena. Yukiko's theme blasted through the LAW speakers and the crowd erupted in cheers, they were always excited to see Yukiko in action, who had a huge fan following and good reputation with the wrestling fans of the organization. Yukiko would make her way down the ring ramp, she was all smiles and would wave to the crowd while clapping hands with some of the fans before getting near the ring. Breathing slowly to calm herself down, she would jump up on the ring apron before making her way into the ring.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, INTRODUCING FIRST, FROM YAMAGUCHI,JAPAN, MIGHTY YUKIKOOOO!" the announcer called out, with the fans erupting in cheers for the fan favourite pinkette. Meanwhile, Yukiko would blush a bit and wave awkwardly to the fans- she was always humbled to see how much the fans liked her and that's why she was here, to put on a good show for everyone and put everything she had in every match. That is why she was dubbed "the Warrior of Flame" by many of her fans and peers.

Yukiko would then slowly take off her orange jacket, and hand it over to the stage hand. After that, the pinkette would begin to do some light stretches and warm ups to limber up. Finally, Yukiko would walk over towards her corner of the ring and stand there, hands on her hips while having a serious and focused expression, waiting for her opponent to get this show on the road!

Success can breed many things, most typically an inflated ego that makes it all the more commonplace for that brief ascension in the ranks to be short-lived once your hubris led you to make simple mistakes that bring you crashing back down to Earth. Death obviously knew better than to make such an egregious mistake and lapse in judgment, but with her own heralded career starting to become regarded as one worth placing amongst the top echelons of the industry...fantasy matchups inevitably became a frequent talking point amongst backstage bookers and executives. Bouts between titans of the industry that were typically reserved for online forums were now being discussed sincerely, albeit with motivations that were unmistakable once you noticed the dollar signs in their avaricious eyes. Disinterested though Death was with such corporate dealings, the Bunny Reaper recognized this opportunity as a means to placate her own insatiable hunger when it came to worthwhile challengers. Death's fanatical search for a creditable and formidable adversary was half the reason she signed on the dotted line with LAW in the first place, but it seemed that today was the day this organization was making good on its promise given that her adversary was a name that was undeniably synonymous to the industry. Adrift in her own lugubrious mindscape as she approached the gorilla position, faint smirks detailed a sense of anticipation not felt in some time...

Now Introducing...From Parts Unknown...Death...BUNNY...

A singular chime signaled the complete and absolute eclipsing of the stadium into abject darkness. Not one fleeting glint of luminescence could be seen as an ebon shadow muted out all senses of hope and faith-driven optimism. And yet, in a maddened fervor that shook the stadium to its very core, a raucous clamor of vociferous pandemonium burst forth from the cheering masses as all that pent-up anticipation was finally given its opportunity to vent. A midnight tint of shaded blue was reflected all along the entranceway and was therefore the only visible structure as a lone silhouette would shamble forth from seemingly out of nowhere. The ominous figure becoming the centered point of breath-taken fixation for every living soul in the stadium simultaneously captivated yet instilled with a bone-chilling dread from The Phenom's ethereal aura. Death's alluring beauty swathed in macabre dread encroaching further onward and entering the ring through the ropes to the illumination of the arena. Offering her flowing cloak and hat to ringside personnel before approaching the middle of the ring for the perfunctory pre-match interaction. "...*Ahem*...Ya know, typically this is meant to be a serious and solemn moment between fighters. But...you do realize I can hear your stomach growling, right?" Death queried with a cocked eyebrow and index finger pointed at her Yukiko's grumbling midsection.
