Daniel Haines vs Gloria Star — Standard Match (No Submissions)

Gloria was down but not out as had a way to get away from her cousin, but it all relied on luck. Gloria reached out for the bottom rope aiming to use it as a way of countering a pinfall attempt or submission hold by her cousin as it would prevent any of those two ideas from coming true. "Almost... got it..." She groaned gritting her teeth as she could feel her finger grips touching the rope about to wrap her entire hand around it before she felt something wrapping around her ankle and dragging her away from its reached!" "Oh come on!" Gloria yelled in annoyance as she adjusted her head to see who else but Danny dragging her from the ropes before being flipped over onto her stomach for a classic ankle lock! "GRRRR!!!" Gloria clenched her teeth in pain as now she was on all fours like a dog as she finally figured out Daniel's gameplan. "Obviously I can't tap out because of the rules, so he's gonna abuse that fact to try and render my body useless, piece by piece.... and he's starting with my leg...." Gloria thought to herself, glaring her eyes back at Daniel as she tried to figure something out.

"Alright, this could be risky, but when as that ever stopped me before?" Gloria added chuckling to herself as she sat up on her elbows having to put her plan into action before Daniel did some serious damage to her leg. The blonde superhero took a deep breathe trying to calm down and not focus on the pain rippling through her leg, in order to get herself prepared before putting her plan into motion. "HERE WE GO!!!" Gloria exclaimed as she pressed her fingertips on the mat trying to give herself a small jump in the air before turning her head back to glare at Daniel. "STARRRRRR KICKKKKKK!!!!" Gloria bellowed out as if she were a comic book character declaring her next attack aiming shoot her free leg into Daniel's chest to try and break free!

He wasn't expecting Gloria to move and adjust so quickly and as he cranked up the pressure he was suddenly caught by surprise as the kick smashed his mid-section knocking the wind right out of him! He staggered back doubled over and shook his head as she struggle to recover. That kick really caught him and left him wide open as Gloria could now act if she moved fast, something Danny was afraid of as if she caught momentum now it would be very dangerous for him.

Gloria had to risk it all on this gamble as Daniel was doing everything he could to put as much pressure as possible to leave her hobbling on one leg! "GRRRRRRRRR AHHHHHHH!!!!" Gloria groaned through the pain as she pushed herself up to send a thrust back kick straight into her cousins' chest! "Ompffff..." Gloria let out as she as she flopped back onto the mat letting out a small groan before turning her head back seeing that her gamble paid off. "Now it's your turn!" Gloria exclaimed as she pushed herself up aiming to wrap her arms around Daniel's ankle trying to drag him away from the ropes to put him in an ankle lock of her own!

"Lets see you break out of this!" Gloria fired back in a cocky tone of voice as now the script was flipped as now Gloria was beaming with confidence as now, she could now try to wear down any stamina Daniel to hopefully get her big victory!

Danny felt Gloria grab his ankles and yank him back. Gloria was trying to lock in an ankle lock of her own which suited Danny fine. If a wrestler was versed enough to use a move, they likely were well versed enough to counter themselves! For this hold that was indeed the case with Danny. He felt the pressure as she wrenched and knelt down to twist hard. He rolled his body with the twist coiling his free leg towards his chest. He thrust out with his free leg as he bent the knee of the ankle Gloria held pulling her in while his free leg kicked out at her looking to smash her with a hard kick to free himself just as she had done to him.

Gloria was able to turn the tables on Daniel and escape the hold she was in but had to act fast in order to grab him before he could make it to the ropes! "Gotch'a!!!" She exclaimed as she tried to bend the back of Daniel's knee to do whatever she could to lower Daniel's stamina even if it was just for a moment or two. The Superhero gritted her teeth trying to hold on to her cousin tightly, however Daniel was still as smart and knew how to break out of this hold. Gloria did everything to keep Daniel locked in but soon enough let out a gasp as Danny was able to roll and send a kick straight to Gloria's chest! "OMMMPFFF!" She sputtered gasping for air as the kick had enough knockback in it to cause Gloria to let go of her grip and stumble back with her caressing her stomach before stopping against the ropes.

The hunched over Gloria let out a short breathes of air keeping her attention squarely on Danny. "He's still down.... if I can time it just right...." A breathless Gloria thought to herself as her whole body was heaving in and out from exhaustion as well as sweat forming all around her. She had a chance to strike but it needed to be as Danny was rising. So there she stood waiting and once she saw a glimmer of Danny pushing herself up.... it was time... "ARRRRAHH!!" Gloria let out a battle cry beginning to charge with what speed she had left aiming to raise a knee hoping to connect with Danny's upper body! "ROCKETTTTTT KICKKKK!!!" She bellowed out the name of one of her moves hoping it will connect and strike her cousin!

Danny managed to free himself and begin to rise when he saw Gloria coming. He attempted to move out of the way but he was too slow. The knee steike smashed his chest sending him right back down to the mat.

He groaned and kicked the canvas as he rubbed his chest. He was taking deep breaths as he struggled to recover, still down on the mat and reeling as Gloria had the upper hand, which did not bode well for Danny.

Gloria knew she had to start setting up for the end. Both of them were exhausted, running on fumes to keep going if either of them wanted to win. After a minor setback by getting kicked in the chest, she was left hunched over as she let out short breathes of air with her body constantly shuddering."Come on... Gloria stay in the game...." The superhero muttered to herself as she kept her gaze on Daniel. If she wanted to take the reins back, she needed to a move that wouldn't knockout Daniel, instead she needed something that could at least stun him for just a moment or two, and thankfully she had just the move for it. Star Kick was the perfect move to stun Daniel, the only thing is, she had to time it just right, if she missed or Daniel countered then it could spell the end for the superhero.

So, Gloria charged at what speed she could muster towards her cousin. With all the damage she took it was slower than normal but as she got closer and closer she could see him rising slowly bringing a small smile towards her as she raised her knee aiming for impact and she connected it hitting Daniel right in the chest sending crashing back down to the canvas! WOAHHH!!! A large pop came from the crowd as Gloria kept running until she stopped at the ropes grabbing them for support as she went to stop and take a breather. Everything in Gloria's world went still for a moment as she stood hunched over in limbo trying to process what just unfolded until she began to lean her head up and saw the cheers in the stands, everyone around the ring was cheering and hollering for both of them. FIGHT FOREVER!!!!! "Hehe.... is that so?" A chuckle came from the superhero as she raised her brows up with a smile. It was only her first PPV in LAW and already she was gaining new fans and admirers as she turned her head at the nearly unconscious Daniel. "If that's what you want then..." Gloria muttered as she began to stumble forward trying to make her way to her cousin.

As she approached him the sweat from her armpits began to be more noticeable and same from her brow as she leaned her head down and seeing some dripping down on top of Daniel. "Sorry about that..." She muttered jokingly as she reached down trying to pull him up. If successful she would position his head down between her legs as she flashed a grin to the crowd. "YOU READY TO SEE THE STAR CRASH HIM DOWN TO EARTH!? Gloria roared out the audience referencing her finisher that won her multiple titles around the globe as she leaned forward aiming to wrap her arms down around his waist. If successful Gloria would take a big deep breath of air as she exerted what strength she could feel her body flaring up in pain from everything that proceeded this moment. It almost felt like for a moment she couldn't lift Daniel off the ground as Gloria bit down on her teeth trying stand strong fighting against the pain in order to try and lift Daniel up for her ultimate finisher.... Star Crash to the EARTH!!!!

Danny was hurting and knew he had to do something... anything... to survive. As he was lift uo he reached and grabbed the back of Gloria's legs to try to stand up flipping her over his back for a landing on the mat.

He was desperate but also knew he needed to recover. He.shook his head. Recovery had to wait. He needed to take action. He pulled Gloria up and lift her uo over onto his shoulders. He wanted no time and immediately lift and spun her trying to hit an F5 before attempting a desperate pin.

This was it, surely this could be what Gloria needed to win. While sure the superhero was exhausted, she knew Daniel was the same, both heavyweights have exerted so much of their strength that the fact that either one of them could lift each other up was a miracle for either one. Gloria had everything in place, Daniel's head was right between her thunderous thighs with it seeming like he had nowhere to run and as Gloria let out baited pants of breathe, she paused to see the excitement from the crowd as everyone knew what was about to happen given her fame on the indies. For a moment it felt like the whole earth went in slow motion as Gloria could see the fans pulling out their phones flashing camera pictures or starting to record videos for what they were about to witness, and in doing it made her.... glad. Glad that finally after years of wanting to be in the same promotion her aunt was in, that she would be able to perform her finisher that she used to dominate the indie scene, made everyone in the arena including her own parents smile to witness firsthand made Gloria a bit emotional. Without even realizing it, Gloria began to have a small tear roll from her eye as she began to have a goofy smile grow across her face and even let out a chuckle trying to contain her own excitement. Now this was her moment, and nothing could surely ruin it for her. After everything began to process normally Gloria became her usual self again wanting to hype the crowd with her ultimate finish as she bent over to wrap her arms around Danny for takeoff. It was a process to say the very least as Gloria is letting grunts of pain trying to muster the strength, she needed at this point to pull off such a move as her finisher. "Come.... on.... almost.... got it!!!!" Gloria muttered to herself trying to focus in on the strength of her as she began to dig deep calling on any reserved strength she'd been saving up for as she gritted her teeth with her legs shaking as she flexed her biceps beginning to pull Daniel off the ground with everyone watching with anticipation.

"This....is....it....cousin...." She muttered whispering to her cousin as she could feel her dream coming true..... until suddenly before Daniel could be properly lifted off the ground, Gloria felt something around her thighs. "Wait....? What's that!?" She gasped as her eyes traced down to see what was grabbing her legs with a panic expression on her face until she saw it. Danny was prepared as he began to lift her up in response and Gloria's heart began to sink as a result. Gloria couldn't believe what she was seeing, she worked so hard and now all of that felt as if it was being ripped away from her in one fell swoop! Gloria was in so much shock she was still trying to wrap her head around it, which in turn left her defenseless as the gasping superhero was propped up and draped across his shoulders. The crowd was also in utter shock as they too gasped unable to believe what just transpired as they felt Gloria had it in the bag but apparently not. Once Gloria was draped across her cousin's shoulders, she finally snapped back into reality realizing her situation. She turned her head from to side as could feel a sense of dread going up her spine. "DANIEL NO THIS CAN'T BE HOW IT ENDS!!!!" Gloria yelled back towards her cousin frantically trying to get out in some form or fashion as tried elbowing him in the back to loosen his grip on her to try and escape before what she knew what was about to happen. Even if Daniel didn't have much in ring experience as she did, Gloria knew about Daniel's finisher as ever since they were growing up this was the move that always got Daniel the victory whenever they spared and given Gloria's state of being, this might be the ending for her! Gloria continued to protest trying to break Daniel's grip, but it wasn't enough as she began to be dropped down to mat as she began to see her life flash before her eyes of every moment Daniel used this move on her to score the victory, until she finally hit face first into the canvas!!!!


BOOM

A bang of a thud was heard as the two fell down onto the canvas as now Gloria was lying face down on the canvas with her hair covering her whole head as she weakly groaned from the impact of the drop. Every small inch of her body was hurting in some form or fashion as she laid face down covered in darkness from her hair covering her. At first Gloria didn't feel anything as Daniel flopped onto her for a weak and desperate pin. ONE! The ref counted as she smacked her hand on the mat with Gloria beginning to hear something despite her weak state of being. TWO! The ref counted as now every was biting their nails fearing this might be the end of the match. Whereas Gloria was now starting to regain her sense of being, she could hear the ref and upon hearing she was at the two count, she had no time to think, it was do or die or else she'll fall up short to Danny once again. "AAAAAAAAHH!!!!" Gloria bellowed out a scream as she tried to thrust her leg hoping for a desperate kick out in her final hour of need!

Danny thought he had it, the surprise high impact move would be enough to keep Gloria down. He was wrong, very wrong! He felt her kick out and he rolled off, shaking his head as he struggled to rise back to his feet. "Come on..." he mumbled to himself as he grabbed hold of Gloria pulling her up to her feet as well. He had to land something else big, so that is what he was going to do.

He had her arm, attempting to whip her towards the ropes. His plan was to send her running then utterly crush her with a huge running lariat. At least that was the plan. It was basic but effective. However, he still had to put it in motion and Gloria had surprised him a few times in this match leaving him hoping that she wouldn't surprise him again with a dodge or counter.
