Risako vs Mary Allen - Cage Match

A new fight was looming for Mary Allen, but she showed no fear or hesitation, advancing confidently to the ring, climbing the ladder and over the ropes; that's how she would raised her fist in the air, causing everyone to shout in her presence, while he waited with interest for the arrival of her opponent

It had been some time since Risako last fought in a cage. She hadn’t particularly missed it since she fought mainly because she needed the money for her mother back then. Now that she making more money with a legitimate organization she had no need to go back to underground fight clubs.

Of course, that didn’t necessarily mean the end of her time fighting in cage matches. This was simply the first of what would likely be many in her career. Risako wasn’t one to back down from a challenge though. She would meet it head-on as she’s always done.

Risako made her way down the ring where her opponent was already waiting for her. Above the ring was the steel cage that would be lowered once both women were in the ring. Risako stepped through the ropes and posed briefly for the crowd before turning to her opponent.

“So you’re my opponent then? May the best woman win.” Risako said as she extended a hand towards the other woman.

Once her opponent finally made his appearance, Mary wouldn't say anything, she would just let him pass up the ramp, into the ring, and finally watch as the cage slowly descended, and so she and Risako would be locked up until one won

Upon hearing this, and seeing her offer a handshake, Mary readily accepted.
Of course, may the best one win, and by the way, if you really need it, I'll accept your request for a timeout just once....

Mary would say, beginning to step back, stretching out and preparing for the ringing of the bell.

“I appreciate the consideration, but I assure you it won’t be necessary.” Risako replied neutrally. She wasn’t sure if Mary Allen was really being considerate or she was actually being facetious. She’d like to think it was the former considering that the blonde was at least courteous enough to accept the handshake. Not that it would really matter either way.

Once the cage had been lowered, the referee gave a brief explanation of the rules. After that, the bell rang to signal the start of the match. Risako circled her opponent slowly getting closer while looking for any openings. She decided to test the waters by feigning a jab to the face while her real objective was to throw a punch to the gut with her other hand.

Mary would understand her opponent's response, though she would only sigh, before letting go and moving a few steps away.

Okay, I've done my part at least, the rest is up to you.

As the bell rang, Mary saw Risako rush towards her without hesitation, Preparing and moving upon seeing a blow to his face, it would be a well-executed feint, and receiving the real blow forcefully to her stomach, But determined and still fresh, she would back away... acting as if it had affected her greatly, so that she would try to approach her again.

Risako felt a small sense of triumph when her opponent moved to defend her face as that left her open to the real attack. She dug her fist hard into Mary Allen’s stomach, causing the other woman to stumble back. Emboldened by the proverbial first blood, Risako launched another attack towards her head. This time it was a kick and it actually was aimed at her head.

Taking that blow hard and making her retreat, Mary knew exactly how that felt... and the expression on that girl's face gave Mary a plan. So, letting herself appear vulnerable to attack, Mary would watch how she positioned her leg with the intention of setting the pace of her attack. Mary would wait until she lifted it, and then, when she aimed for her head, Mary would block the kick with her arms... and with force she would try to grab her and pull her towards her, so she could try to force her to fall to the canvas, and then she could try to attack with a stomp on her chest!!.

Risako’s eyes widened as Mary caught her kick just before it made contact with her face. The other girl had recovered remarkably quickly, though perhaps she hadn’t been as hurt by Risako’s opening attack as she initially appeared. Risako didn’t have time to dwell on that though as Mary s quickly pulled on her, causing her to lose her balance and fall down. Risako let out a soft grunt as she hit the canvas. The fall barely hurt but it did leave her open for a stomp to the chest that was significantly more damaging.

“Argh!”

To be completely honest... Mary doesn't really like to make those kinds of feints, but it had worked for her; she just had to avoid it later.

Knowing that the situation was now in her favor, and being very close thanks to that stomp, Mary would try to continue her chain attack, trying to grab Risako's leg after she kicked it, and if it worked, she would try to secure it and, dropping to the ground, try to put it in a leg lock.

Risako groaned as she nursed her chest where she got stomped. The tide of battle could change swiftly and suddenly and she was experiencing it first hand here. As she lay stunned on the canvas, Mary took the leg that she was still holding and dropped down to put it in some kind of leg lock. Thinking fast, Risako tried to kick her with her free leg to try and prevent her opponent from completing it.
