Into the Fire! Tess Jones [D] vs Katsumi Oshiro

Katsumi hears the girl scream. She knows it isn't fully real - or probably isn't. It might be fueled more by terror. She can't imagine what must be going through Tess's head right now. Maybe confusion. Maybe anger.

Feeling the girl's body go limp beneath her, she thinks she gets it though. Tess understands the assignment, so to speak. It kind've makes her feel good, sparing her the very worst of the punishment she might've doled out. So she spreads herself a little further over the other girl, holding the captive leg's thigh against her cheek. Her hips press in a little more firmly against the other girl's face, easily feeling her every delicate feature through the material of her trunks.

The referee-girl drops beside the pair. This has to be it, right? Her hand strikes the mat.

"ONE!"

Katsumi draws her bottom lip between her teeth, unsure. Tess had wanted her to not hold back. She feels like she's giving herself over to her now, but.. would there be regrets? When did this become something other than the intention to purely dominate the rookie?

"TWO!"

The conflicted feelings come to an explosive head when Katsumi determines in a flash that, no, she can't let Tess take a fake bump as her final moment in her big debut. Maybe she'll hate her for this later. Maybe she'll appreciate it. It doesn't matter! Katsumi's historically been bad about understanding what people want, but her intuition is the only thing she has! So before the hand strikes the mat a third and final time, Katsumi suddenly releases the leg and shoots back to her knees.

Rather theatrically, she wags her finger side-to-side at the referee.

"OH COME ON!," balks the referee desperately. "She's out! Don't make me call it on a technicality!"

"Shaddup and just get clear!"

Katsumi leans over Tess to draw her arms a little higher on the mat, until they're outstretched above her head - just to ensure her body is fully taut, that every breath is a dramatic rise and fall of her skinny midsection. Then Katsumi gets to her feet, awash in boos and scorn anew, and marches for the turnbuckle.

Meanwhile, the referee leans in over Tess. "Are you okay!? Can you continue!?" She's not even sure she's going to get a response - in which case, the match has to continue!

The sweet sound of the count begins, but the count only reaches two before her opponent steps off her.

She hears Katsumi arguing with the referee, it occurs to her she has more planned, can she not see how totally defeated she is?!
The referee leans in, offering a chance to escape, but can she take it? Could there be anything more pathetic than being rescued by a referee while still conscious? Before she can decide Katsumi has already stalked off toward the turnbuckle.

Katsumi can figure that the referee is being as good an official as she can be in these trying times. The Punk Princess misbehaves in the ring. She pushes boundaries. Everyone knows this. It's what makes her unpredictable and entertaining! But in this particular moment, she's content enough that the official's yammering is probably keeping poor Tess distracted on the mat.

One foot on the ropes, then the other, scaling the corner post before swinging herself around to perch upon the top cables and facing the ring like a horrible gargoyle. She slowly lifts to her full height, arms spread widely to either side in grand spectacle - enough so that the referee spots what's coming and scrambles away. With a pump of her legs, the punkette takes flight! Her lithe body curls into a ball as she arcs high into the air, flipping once! Twice! Nearly a third flip on the descent before lashing back with her limbs, pulling her body taut and abdominal muscles tensed for impact directly across Tess's unprotected belly!

The impact will be crushing. Abdominals across abdominals, Katsumi's toned and trim stomach pressing into Tess's with the full force of centripetal motion, gravity, and her bodyweight, crushing her midsection. The 450 splash finisher, the Crescent Moon. That's a proper way to finish someone off. A proper way to let Tess know she didn't take it easier on her in the end.

Tess briefly closes her eyes, enjoying a brief and misguided moment of peace.
She hears the crowd cheer, her eyes open only to catch her opponent flying gracefully through the air, and directly at her.

The brief flicker of mercy was a lie, Katsumi hits her with the force of a train, breathless she can only try, and fail, to scream.
Slowly air returns to her only to be released in a primal scream of pain.

"Aaaaghh, how could you!"

She cries out tapping her opponent rapidly and shouting toward the referee.

"Please, I submit"

Any sense of shame lost as she hurries to stop Katsumi from inflicting any more pain upon her

WHAM.

Katsumi can feel Tess's body respond to the punishing blow, and no doubt, Tess can feel the punkette's own abs flex in cringe against the impact. No matter what way it's cut, bellyflopping onto a human is going to hurt. But the idea is that it hurts Tess more. And from the sound of Tess screaming when she regains her breath, it's obvious it served its purpose.

The feel of Tess's hand fluttering against her body in tandem with the cried submission is more than enough proof that Tess has been broken tonight. It's exactly what management wanted. It's exactly what Katsumi set out to do.

The referee startles and dives down close to Tess to confirm she's tapping out in a pin. Her hand starts to lift, only to be caught by Katsumi still lying across the blonde's midsection. "NO!," she commands. "She's not getting out of this early! Count the damn pin!"

And with the order given, Katsumi arches her back to seal her bared midsection against Tess's. Releasing the referee's wrist, she props her forearm to the mat. Her left arm reaches back to hook Tess's thigh, holding the leg against her ribs. With a flick of her head, she tosses her hair back out of her eyes to better look out over the audience. The arena is absolutely wild with noise, a mixture of outrage and savage glee. Katsumi can only smirk out at them, each heavy breath shifting her body against Tess's. The final image of the match gets to be Katsumi lying crossways over the blonde rookie, dominant and vicious.

The referee-girl hesitates a moment, then drops close to the mat to begin slapping it.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

Her screams of anguish are brushed off by her opponent, Tess can only feebly weep as the pin is brutally extracted.
Tess's eyes turn in shame from her opponent, she listens for the count, the single word she hopes to hear, to finally be free.

"THREE"

The referee-girl cries, and through pain and tears Tess breaths a sigh of relief, she has been broken, but the fight is over, a chance for her to curl up and wait out the pain, but not the shame, that will take longer to heal.

The hand hits the mat a final time.

The final count is announced.

The referee-girl lifts onto her knees and waves an arm to signal the bell.

DING! DING! DING!

"YOUR WINNER BY PINFALL!," the announcer begins as Katsumi's music begins to flood the arena. "KATSUMI! THE PUNK PRINCESS! OOOOSHIIIROOOO!"

All throughout, Katsumi remains lying across the other girl's body, basking in the moment. Surely management would be pleased with this level of theatric cruelty, this level of ego-smashing domination. Every second that ticks by while the punkette keeps Tess pinned is another hard reminder that Tess is helpless beneath her, that Katsumi owns the ring tonight. No newbie is going to take her place.

Finally, Katsumi eases the girl's leg back down to the mat. Then she slowly slides her body off of the other girl's until she's rest on her knees beside her. Her left hand sets over the blonde's belly, the right hand bracing on the mat beside her head as she leans in.

"Welcome to LAW."

The left hand gives a single, light pat on Tess's battered midsection, almost playful after the destruction. She rocks back onto her feet and she lifts to her full height, letting the referee-girl take her wrist to raise her arm high in the air. If Tess is unfortunate enough to linger on the mat before her during this, Katsumi sets a boot upon the girl's chest in conquest. Light pressure, not meant to physically crush her lungs or make it hard to breathe. Rather, it's all about the image. The message.

Tess was quickly coming to realise her time in the young lions was no cake walk, especially if she kept winding up the wrong people with her back talk and getting thrown into fire.

Still she'd been in the mainstream, and hopefully given the fans a good show, but god damn did it have hurt this much?!

She felt Katsumi's foot step into her belly, and it hit her ego hard, she reminded herself, keep training, and one day she'd teach her a lesson, but for today, broken and hurting, she was going to have to take this disrespect.
