With Renee just regaining her bearings, she would see an approaching Maddy. She was still groggy so she would try to grab her. However, Maddy seemed to be expecting that as she would then feel a dropkick to the back, sending her face crashing to the floor. She held her back in pain as she probably felt something pop in there.

“Fuck! My back! You motherfucker!”

Renee would now be on the ropes as she would start crawling towards said ropes. She wanted to actually roll out of the ring to stop the momentum Maddy would have. Although, it was a very long crawl.

Seeing Renee start that slow crawl toward the ropes, Maddy pushed through the ache in her body and reached down, grabbing both of Renee’s legs, planting her boots against the canvas as she dragged her back toward the center of the ring, inch by stubborn inch. Renee clawed at the mat, but Maddy kept pulling until there was no rope within reach.

“Uh-uh,” Maddy muttered, breath heavy. “You don’t get a timeout!”

With Renee pulled flat, Maddy stepped over her legs, carefully shifting her weight so her bad ankle didn’t give out, and attempted to sit back into a Boston Crab, wrenching Renee’s legs upward while leaning back to put pressure across her lower back and spine.

She didn’t fully sit at first—testing her balance—then tried to sink it deeper, arching back just enough to make it hurt.

“Funny thing,” Maddy said between breaths, eyes narrowed, “you keep talking about experience… but you never learned when to stop running your mouth.” She gave another sharp pull on the legs, trying to increase the bend in Renee’s back

Renee would basically be dragged back to the ring, trying to shake Maddy off of her leg. However, with how much pain she was in along with how pissed off Maddy was, it was a losing battle for the Renegade. She would be trapped in whatever submission hold Maddy had in mind.

The submission move of choice was the classic Boston Crab. It would very much be awkward at first with Maddy trying to move with her hurt ankle to lock it in. But when she was finally locked into the hold, Renee didn’t feel it at much at first but after she leaned back, Renee decided to continue mocking her.

“This is the best you can do? Even with my fucked up back, this shit ain’t even affecting me at all! You are a disgrace for a submission artist such as myself.”

But even with her talking, Renee still had a long ways to go to break up the hole. She would try to get onto her elbows. If she were, she would slowly shift and inch towards the ropes by crawling on her elbows.

She repositioned her stance, carefully stepping deeper between Renee’s legs, and sat back again, this time leaning her weight lower and farther, trying to bow Renee’s spine more aggressively. She felt Renee start to push up onto her elbows and slowly close the distance between her and the ropes.

“Yeah? Still talking?” Maddy snapped, breath sharp with effort.

Seeing Renee inch forward, Maddy shifted tactics. Keeping the Boston Crab applied with her legs and hips, she leaned forward, reaching down and threading one arm around Renee’s neck, trying to pull her upper body back while maintaining control of one of Renee’s legs—a modified single leg Boston Crab, turning it into something far more vicious and painful.

Maddy didn’t fully crank it all at once—she gradually tightened her grip, pulling Renee’s head and shoulders back while leaning her weight down through her hips, testing how much pressure it would take before the bitter veteran would shut her mouth.

“Funny,” Maddy said through clenched teeth, voice low and biting, “because this ‘disgrace’ is the one dragging you back to the middle of the ring.”
She gave a sharp tug, attempting to halt Renee’s crawl completely, forcing her spine to bend deeper.

Renee was halfway from getting to the ropes when Maddy went to wrap her arm around her throat during this Boston Crab. Although it’s a good idea on paper, in practice, it would just break the Boston Crab entirely, which Renee knew and took advantage of.

Renee would actually push herself up before belly flopping back to the ground. With the impact really hurting her back, it would’ve also made Maddy stumble due to her being moved around a lot. If that made Maddy off-balanced, Renee would use her arms to hook Maddy’s bad ankle and would return with her own submission move, a low heel hook. She arched her back, having her in pain, and would try and trap Maddy in a reverse heel hook.

Maddy felt it the second she leaned too far forward.mRenee’s sudden push up and belly flop back to the mat ripped the structure out from under the hold, the impact jolting straight through Maddy’s frame. She stumbled, trying to reset her footing—but her bad ankle betrayed her.

“Sh—!”

Before she could pull back, Renee’s arms snapped around her ankle, yanking it in tight. Maddy cried out as Renee twisted sharply, dropping to her side and rolling into a low heel hook, torque ripping through the already-damaged joint.

“Aaagh—!” Maddy collapsed to the mat, instinctively reaching for Renee’s arms as the pressure escalated. Renee arched back, cinching the hold deeper, turning it into a reverse heel hook, isolating the ankle and knee while forcing Maddy’s leg at a brutal angle.

Maddy’s boot scraped uselessly against the canvas as she tried to roll through, her face contorting in pain, breath coming in sharp, panicked bursts. “Ghh—damn it—!”She slapped the mat once—not a tap, just pain—before gritting her teeth and trying to pull herself toward the ropes with her hands, every inch dragging fire through her leg.

Renee would slowly get up, still having the ankle lock locked in, as it would be her turn to pull Maddy away from the ropes. However, Renee didn’t wanna have Maddy in an ankle lock. In fact, she had a more painful submission in mind. A submission she likes to do.

With that in mind, Renee would release the hold but not Maddy’s foot. She then lifted it up before slamming it down to the mat with force. Renee then watched her rile in pain and would again, press her foot on Maddy’s hurt ankle, grinding it still.

“I don’t wanna have my energy wasted on a dumb ankle lock. I think you’re in need of some Interrogation. Get the real reason why you joined this damn promotion.”

Maddy’s body convulsed as Renee slammed her ankle down onto the mat, a sharp, bone-deep jolt of agony shooting up through her leg. She cried out, voice breaking in half as tears sprang to her eyes.

“Aaaahhh! Fuck! My leg! Stop! Please!” she screamed, flailing, trying to scramble toward the ropes, but every movement made the pain spike even higher. Her arms and hands scrabbled at the canvas, her ankle screaming under the pressure of Renee’s boot grinding down.

Maddy’s face contorted, hot tears streaking down her cheeks, her breaths ragged and uneven. “I—I joined because… I wanted… to prove… I could do this! Please! Fuck! Let me—” She screamed again, body shaking as Renee pressed even harder, grinding her foot into the injured joint, not letting up.

Desperation fueled her movements. With one final, ragged effort, Maddy thrust her free hands forward, swinging blindly—and her fingers caught Renee’s boot, hitting away at it in hopes that it’ll either giver Maddy an opportunity to escape or at the very least relieve some of the pain caused by her opponent’s foot.

“Ha! Is that really why you joined LAW? You wanted to prove you’re a capable wrestler? Bitch when I joined, I was known all over the world in the indie circuit. You aren’t a wrestler. You’re just some dumb bitch who thought she can tussle with the girls. I bet the real reason you joined was so you can get all ‘close and personal’ with the female roster. But let me be the first woman you truly get close and personal with.”

Renee would be slapped on the boot but on the elasticity of Maddy’s arm, Renee would grab her wrist. She then threw it down before delivering a stomp to the back of Maddy. After that, Renee would stand over her and would be ready to lock in her Finishing Submission “Interrogation”. If Renee were to lock in the submission, it would definitely be lights out for Maddy and only time to crown a new Loserbelt Champion.

Maddy’s vision blurred, pain radiating up her spine and through her ankle as Renee’s boot crashed into her back. She gasped sharply, trying to crawl, to breathe, to even think—but desperation pushed her forward.

Renee reached down, hooking Maddy’s arm to set up her dreaded Interrogation. The veteran grinned, ready to finish it here and now.

But Maddy’s survival instincts kicked in. With a sudden, desperate jerk of her wrist, she caught Renee off guard, twisting just enough to break the alignment for a split second. Renee stumbled slightly, throwing off her balance.

Seizing the opportunity, Maddy rolled forward violently, tucking her legs and trying to trap Renee on her shoulders for a roll-up pin. The move wasn’t clean—she was still weak, injured, and trembling—but it was enough to put Renee on her back.

The referee dove down, slapping the mat:

“1!… 2!…”

The ref’s hand lifted again, ready to go for 3, but Maddy’s body tensed, fighting to hold it just a fraction longer, hoping the chaos of the moment could give her a real chance to win this match and not become the loser champion.
