Tokie vs Fleur---Maid of Steiner Stuff (Pow match)

Unread post by Treky »

Pow rule- 24h of ownership

That evening, Tokie would have a rather unusual match. He would be competing in one of his first matches using the POW rule, a rather peculiar match in which the winner had possession of the loser for a set period of time, something quite humiliating for the loser. The boy didn't know much about his opponent; she was probably new and hadn't had many matches, which piqued his curiosity.

Tokie was the first to enter the arena, and his opening song began to reverberate throughout the stadium as the lights turned dark red. The boy emerged from backstage, greeting the various fans and leaping into the ring. He then looked at the entrance and said, making himself heard throughout the stadium:

"Come on, show yourself!"

It was only moments before the match was supposed to start that it really hit Fleur that this was really happening. Professional wrestling was not something she had ever envisioned herself doing. She had seen a few matches on TV before and had even liked what she saw, but it was never anything more than an occasional indulgence. She had spent most of her life training to become a maid and that was what she focused on more than anything else. But after everything that went down with the Gaillard heir, Fleur needed a change of pace. One thing led to another and now she was here. After coming this far, she would give it nothing less than her best effort.

Fleur stepped through the curtain as her theme played on the arena speakers. She carried herself with poise and grace as she walked down the ramp and stepped through the ropes to enter the ring. Turning to the man who would be her opponent, Fleur gave him a curt but respectful bow.

"Greetings, my name is Fleur Beaufort. I'll be your opponent tonight. Let's have a good match."

Tokie watched Fleur finish her entrance, her calm and graceful presence standing in sharp contrast to the roaring crowd. When she bowed to him, he paused for a second, then straightened and returned a respectful nod of his own.

“Tokie” he said simply. “Good to meet you”

He took a moment to adjust the tape around his wrists, inhaling slowly as he studied her stance. There was no intimidation in his gaze, just focus and a hint of uncertainty at facing someone so composed.

“You carry yourself well” he said quietly. “Guess I’ll have to stay sharp”

Tokie stepped back into position, lifting his guard and settling into a ready stance. His shoulders were tense, but his eyes stayed locked on Fleur as the referee moved in to start the match.

Fleur assessed her opponent as Tokie got into a fighting stance. At first glance the young man didn't particularly impressive, though she knew better than to dismiss him as a threat based on looks alone. Regardless of what kind of threat he may or may not pose, Fleur would not hold back either way. Once she stepped into the ring, she played for keeps. Anything less would just be a waste of time. The former maid settled into a stance of her own as the bell rung to officially get the match underway. Fleur would start off by approaching her opponent with her arms extended. She intended to test the waters by engaging him in a simple collar and elbow tie up.

Tokie saw Fleur advance decisively and immediately understood her intentions. It wasn't his strong point, but refusing contact would have been a sign of weakness. Gritting his teeth, he lowered his center of gravity and accepted the test of strength, grabbing her in return.

The difference in strength made itself felt almost immediately, forcing him to give ground half a step. Tokie, however, resisted, twisting his torso and planting his feet firmly, more focused on studying his opponent than on winning the test. Even though he was physically disadvantaged, he had no intention of letting himself be easily dominated.

Fleur threw out the challenge and Tokie accepted it. The two met in the center of the ring and locked up in the collar and elbow tie up. Almost immediately Fleur managed to force her opponent to take a step back, though he managed to plant his feet firmly into the canvas to avoid taking another step back. However, the initial contact did seem to suggest that Fleur held the strength advantage. Perhaps if she pressed that advantage, she could manage to overpower the young man completely. But unless she had an overwhelming strength advantage over him, such a course would likely be more trouble than it was worth.

But the purpose of the lockup was never to dominate him with strength. Fleur had other tools at her disposal beyond just raw power. She grabbed Tokie’s arm and transitioned into a wrist lock. From there she would hook his leg with her own and trip him to drive him face-first into the mat with a drop toehold.

Tokie immediately felt the change in pressure when Fleur abandoned the simple contest of strength. The grip on his wrist was quick and precise, and before he could even react, his arm was twisted into a wristlock that elicited a growl of pain. He tried to follow the movement, twisting his body to relieve the twist, but he was already too late.

When Fleur hooked his leg, Tokie knew what was about to happen. He instinctively tried to free his foot, but his balance betrayed him: his legs were snatched away and his body fell forward. He hit the carpet facedown with a sharp thud, his hands sliding across the canvas as he absorbed the impact, and for a moment he lay on the ground, forced to absorb the maneuver by struggling to stop the maid.

Having successfully taken Tokie down to the canvas, Fleur would then seek to test the young man's resilience. She approached her downed opponent and grabbed his legs. Holding them in her arms, Fleur sat down on his back while pulling back on his legs, putting pressure on his back and spine as she locked in the Boston Crab.

"Let's see how you handle this."

Tokie gritted his teeth as the grip tightened. He tried to push himself forward with his arms, trying to relieve the pressure on his back, but Fleur's weight kept him pinned to the mat. An attempt to twist his hips elicited a groan: the pain intensified and forced him to stop.

Panking, he resumed crawling a few inches, his hands clawing at the canvas in search of an escape route. Every small step forward was immediately undone by the relentless tension of the grip. His legs trembled, his strength ebbing, but Tokie continued to resist, stubborn, unyielding.

As far as first impressions went, Tokie was not off to a great start. It was only getting worse the longer he was in the Boston Crab. It was a simple, yet effective maneuver that he was really struggling to get out of. Fleur felt him try to twist his hips but her weight kept him pinned down. His attempts to crawl towards the ropes were met with little progress as a few tanks on his legs ramped up the pressure and drew more pained yelps from her adversary. At the rate things were going, it seemed like the match might be over before it truly began.

“Is this the best you’ve got, Tokie? Surely you won’t go down just from this?”
