Main Information

Overview: Puroresu / Trick Kicks / Submission Wrestling / Cheating /
While this is the character in full view, elements are always modifiable for personal comfort levels and tolerances.

If villainy had degrees, then she’d have 6 doctorates; a voice in sync with bouncing synths, flame, screen and spotlight when she commands it. Her expressions resembling someone who knows what you've got, then talks & taunts like she’s a billionaire writing a cheque with increasing zeroes every chance she gets. Her nature is one of elite-level theatrics, malevolence, cunning, pride & pettyness. Nothing too low to stoop towards. Nothing too cute to pummel. No quarter, no mercy, no tenderness that isn’t a mockery. Consider her like a playwright of downfall; a lead tragician, the archivist of one-sided misery, and leader of a terroristic troupe of like-minded opportunists with her eternally loyal ally Dot, her artificial intelligence servant named Panic and any other subjugated henchman/woman she collects as trophies. She is the CEO of her own fear economy, engineer of The Spectral Network, an anti-messiah who only wants haters instead of followers, ready to turn up at any time or place, marked by the slogan…

“The Show is now MINE!”

Her way of slinging words is vainly crude and shameless to what she is, a change away from her beginnings, often referring to herself as the worst. “Worst of the worst, got it? I don't do second place.” Due to her ongoing feud with [redacted] and after a livestream involving [redacted], the mouth-mask became the domino eye-mask to become her own mouth piece, to flex what can’t be broken—reaching to capture news headlines and be dreaded among all kinds in the angles they make until it becomes the national discussion, then the world. The domino mask, the speeches, gestures, inflections, the scheme; her true thoughts but magnified.

Underneath her is a sense of purity in the way she enjoys herself. The same feeling you get when you see cute puppies or hear that you’ve won the super cool raffle is equivalent to bruises, tears and watching you shrink. Deeeeelicious! She’s like an inversion of anything pleasant or kind, often cheating just for creative expression than need. She’s someone who has a full range of small-scale pettiness and brat-itude to despicable acts of honourless scum-villainy. One might call that a tsundere. But then she’d hit you.

As for the truth? She’s a creature of pride—insatiable, always craving more from one more punch, one more opponent and one more scheme. “You say it’s too far, I say we just broke even.” The sum of her efforts defines it, from her mind games, the feats she covets to the stomach she shows off. The resilience to find a way or make a way to glory. To become a worldwide name that gives you goosebumps, her signature across every battered belly.
HER PREPARATION:

First comes study. Then comes planning. Then comes training And lastly, statement.
  • Research every match, including those pre-law, as far back as they can find. They hunt for personal information as well to create angles or blackmail they could make you throw matches or have a fight over. They’ll watch you wrestle, what your habits are, who you love, who you hate, how you wrestle in the gym, where you sleep, where you like to hang. If someone is marked for downfall, then she’ll take her time. Cameras may be placed in personal spaces and common areas where the target frequents.
  • Alongside that, Spectre & Dot plan the elements of their appearance from speech to her desired endings/statements, exploitable angles and cheating options in case. For long-term rivals, instead of a match, she plans a feud to create her engineered downfall. Anything less thought through is amateur hour.
  • Based on her findings, she makes a training camp. In Spectre’s fabled training grounds, she creates her own machines and jungle gyms out of her territory. Dot is her favourite dance partner here as well.
  • She just makes sure you’re metaphorically teabagged after she wins just in case you didn’t hate her already.
IN THE RING
Below is one sort of “optimal” scenario for Spectre in terms of what her nights look like. The buttons will tell you the same things but in bullet-point traits / facts. Warning now that some parts are NSFW. Most is sectioned off or telegraphed, however.

Goal: Her objective in matches is to elevate the stature of the match using all means available—principally through theatre, negative emotion and s contingency. Once she has the crowd in her palms, that’s when she tears her opponent down to create a tragedy.

Note: Don’t cling to the structure too much. While it is a quintessential Spectre match, it’s more a medium to communicate the in-ring experience than a 1:1 of structure.

Strengths: Submissions, Fortitude, Preparedness, Willpower, Flexibility, Psychology
  • She is an insufferable winner. Not just because of attitude, but because she takes all the liberties she pleases. Why? “Cause I deserve it.”
  • She’ll dig at any angle if she suspects it’ll hurt your feelings or trip you up.
  • And yes, she will make you hit yourself.
  • Her winning process is drawn out to create her downfall effect. Even if she could win, she merely makes that part of the game.
  • She enjoys looming for this effect, much like an evil monarch. Intentional 2 counts, paradise holds, throwing them out of the ring to pose.
  • Scaring her is impossible. Her long-term promise demands she’ll rise to face the music, good or bad.
  • She wins by absolutely any means she can and considers all methods, no matter how cool or pathetic, to be an extension of her will. It’s fun for her, and this includes using lackeys or dusty finishes. Anything is fair, even if unfair. So long as you’re her.
  • Being nice to Spectre can make her angry and she’ll finds you nuts. Typically invites a quick insult, a poke to the eye or both.
  • She is quite indulgent with her advantages, like an artist locked into their natural instincts.
  • Your reward for losing to her is a punishment of some kind if she’s feelin’ it. She’s a pure glutton for matches resulting in something after, so don’t hold your breath about mercy. If you’re a special little someone, then you’re about to COME ON DOOWNNN to a new episode of livestream peril.

  • Oral fixation. She likes to bite and make it visible..
  • She is alllllsooo an enjoyer of turning faces into thrones and grinding on them.
  • Sometimes employs substances aphrodisiacs & sex toys, favouring her purple strap-on.
  • Likes to cover your mouth or gag it.
  • Supremely favours orgasm denial, collaring and begging.

Weaknesses: Low Physical Durability ( 10x in stomach ), Delusional, *slow recovery.
  • Spectre on the losing end is just stubborn denial. When struck, she calls it soft. She’ll bash your technique, promise vengeance and ask, “that it?” This wilts and falters the more she’s beat up until she’s squealing in peril. Has a habit of word-salading insults.
  • Spectre is nonetheless easily stunned especially on clean strikes/moves. Her saving grace is her instincts to stay on her feet, leading to a display of jittery knees, a wobbly head and a swaying torso as she goes left, right, back and and sometimes into the next strike. Sometimes it can even be delayed, resulting in a moment of no-sell before she flops on her face.
  • Spectre thinks she can “force past ” her health issues and mismatches by outsmarting & outwilling you. Because she’s all or nothing, she bets on her infallibility as she fights. Therefore she doesn’t hide her gut; it’s her pride.
  • Bashing said belly tends to feel like a sudden all-numbing to her. She heats up to a sweat and her legs shudder very visibly after impact. She can’t think, forgets and slurs if mid-speech. Her mental fortitude evaporates to whimper, scream, cry or gurgle. Its knockout potential is like an unprepared hit to the jaw from a heavyweight boxer. If someone were to hold their fist against it as a threat, she'd freeze like deer in headlights.
  • Total faith in her schemes create a conundrum when they’re countered. Faced with rational doubts, combatted by her own tenants, the paradoxical vulnerability triggers a freeze, locked and choke on spit. Non-emotional, but a silent meltdown.
  • Flexible :)
  • The reward for beating her, if she’s not snoozing or cursing them in every breath, is an extended and vivid punch drunk trance regardless if she stands again or not. If you think I’m using a mind-break concept as a bypass of her fortitude to be temporarily tamed, then possibly.

  • Tends to put her heart into stoic resistance. Stomping legs, grabbing wrists, desperate escape attempts, crossing her legs, being silent or denying you credit.
  • Once past her threshold, she’s a real singer though. Shakes a lot when she crescendos. Clings and or claws on reflex.
  • Likes being praised, having eye contact and flirted with, but won’t acknowledge it.
  • Being made to give oral tends to disrupt thoughts and render docile.
  • Highly sensitive to penetration, with dick/strap-ons being most effective. Composure melts quickly.

Act 1 with Spectre is like dealing with a clever hyena. Stalking—measuring, then choosing her moves. The first act has a laugh after the first kick connects; a breaking of mouldy bread before the spirit. She’ll big you up, address you, like she’s serving you on a platter for herself. You can say she huffs her own smoke in the delay and early holds, and it would be one-thousand percent true. It’s all about the relationship of control and pageantry. Leg kicks, minimalist dodging, making it look slick and easy. She’ll have you thrown to the outside, activate her mask’s microphone and accuse you of cowardice, cause just look who’s leaving. If she’s feeling spicy, then this may start before the bell. A common tactic being to use her AV tools, pyro setups, smoke machines, laser shows and screen manipulation to create a sort of larger than life action. Or she might…Yanno, kick you between the legs.

Sure, excruciating mistakes are possible when you plan for total success, but defiance is one thing you can always depend on. She calls your stuff soft, even if she’s croaking—denying she has limits, clinging to mental fortitude. Then you’ll realize she’s quite petty, often making a point to do something rude or underhand, preferably her boot on you so she can dig the heel, grin and go, “Look at what we got—so much fat under my heel. You’ve been slackin' off huh? A total couch-tagonist, doing reps of ‘tato chips and sets of pepsi? Don’t even deny it, I’m squishin' ya like a s’more.”

She’s the master of disrespect. Face-washes, wiping her boot on you, shoving your face and slapping it around. Any pinfall at this stage is lazy. She may even stretch over their back, clap when you miss your move, promo on you mid-hold, then tap on your belly as preliminary. “Spongey.” There’s just something about putting people in stupors that make her want to mess with them after, make them kneel and show their faces to the cameras. They become her ragdoll.

Whether she’s wanting to showcase control or neutralize you to recuperate / think it through, her favourite hold to cap off the round is her signature
Image
as a touchstone. In lewd matches, a good long dose of the
Image
is how she’ll say hello.

Act 2 is the Purple Sacrament. She targets every abdomen she comes in contact with and makes it her mission to bruise it, whether she intends the match to be swift or extended. Harder abs tend to make her mad because they’re harder to break and her punching power lagged. NEVERTHELESS,
Image
theres a whip there’s a way. Knees, kicks, fists. A pair of abs brandished is an open challenge and written permission. When their belly is covered, she will tear a gap like opening a Christmas present.

Springboards up in frequency as she turns herself into a wrecking ball. Her
leaves you breathless. The knee-drop repetitions will make sure the breath stays gone. Then when you’re clutching, feeling a rash in your esophagus, she’ll claw against your diaphragm until you gurgle, then reveal herself to have placed you into a sleeper. Then she’ll squeeze you so empty of life that her arm shakes from exertion as her smile grows, watching you fade out. “Oop, they found a loophole.” Then she’ll release. Rinse and repeat. “This pig is still wigglin.”

She’ll wow you with devastation, dealing you a brutal counter like her
, take you to deep waters and let you live simply because she’s addicted to the game she plays. She manipulates your joints like figurines, often choosing a favourite limb as her backup.

If she’s trading too much damage then she may show her card. The bribed referee, the blackmail, the hired thug from local gangs, the command if her mask cracks and she cracks a “s-ss-SSS-s-SSTOP!!”

The mind games stay incessant throughout. “Keep it up, and I might just pin you for ten.” Before lifting up your corpse for a 2 count. The end goal is to simultaneously prepare them for the finale, one foot in the grave, grabbing at straws and desperate for a comeback. Her favourite? Something flashy—like her
*A backflip handspring usually precedes this because she tries to be very extra. Image
or lustfully theatrical with her
Image
.

Act 3 is the immortalizing. Some may call it your last chance, as she draws back for the final sprint to run a victory lap. She may eye the cameras and talk into them. If all went well in her machinations, the crowd is sizzling with energy, crying out for her victim to make that fated comeback, like so many greats pull as they near defeat. This high point, whether natural or artificial, is key to Spectre’s wishes in her matches because it marks the crescendo before tying this episode into a neat bow.

She’ll bite, wedgie your clothes—well, actually, she may tear it off as a trophy. Because this part could be described as one big ritual. She’ll stomp into you, repeatedly, just bully you with her boots. Anything now is just to return you to a low state, a tired force coming to terms with the inevitable. That subtle limb-targetting? Now is the time where she wrenches that bitch. “Now SCREAM!” She'd say, sometimes being the end of pitiful opponents, giving them a special fate:
Meant to be Spectre's Pity, but breaks the name with the apostrophe.

Her design is to play counter to your strength by taking out its foundation. Fast? Goodbye kneecaps. Striker? She’ll do your arm in. If you’re strong, then she’ll out-muscle you after rendering you loopy. It’s all about the message, the snuffing, the denial of comeback and putting your helplessness on display. The Shame Hold has become one of her favourites for this. She’ll grab the mic and put it to your face, ask if you quit, or tie you in the ropes to face the camera lens to tell them who owns you. This is especially true in lewd matches where her favourite hentai finisher
Image
leaves a hand free.

When she wants to finish? It can be pretty sudden.
Image
will leave you brain-dead, cheek and lips smothered into a blood/sweat stain of their own making. Or perhaps, if there’s nothing to adequately stomp them into, she’ll go with her favourite:
Image
, where the power sits in her hands, then they can sag towards the floor if any fight remains. It sits close to her next favourite which is stealing her opponent's big move and destroying them with it. But when the going gets sweaty, she has her ultimate trump card in

-- NINJA SLIDE BETWEEN THE LEGS OR GETS BEHIND THEM
-- JUMPING SPIN KICK TO THE BACK OF HEAD / DROPKICK
-- OPPONENT STUMBLES TO CORNER IN STANDING POSITION, FACING THE TURNBUCKLE PAD
-- SPEAR THEIR SPINE FROM A RUN-UP
-- HAIR-PULL THROW THEM TO THE GROUND, BELLY FACE UP
-- RUN ROPES, JUMPING OVER OPPONENT OR RUN UP CORNER
-- SPRINGBOARD INTO ASAI CORKSCREW MOONSAULT

-- NINJA SLIDE BETWEEN THE LEGS OR GETS BEHIND THEM
-- JUMPING SPIN KICK TO THE BACK OF HEAD OR DROPKICK
-- OPPONENT STUMBLES TO CORNER IN STANDING POSITION, FACING THE TURNBUCKLE PAD
-- HOP UP THE ADJACENT ROPES ONE AT A TIME AND EXECUTE A REVERSE FRANKENSTEINER
-- RUN ROPES
-- EXECUTE PUNT KICK

as her last resort. After all that, if her contingency was beaten, there is only her last line of defence, sometimes the only defence in a given evening: Dot.

DING-DING-DING.
Backstory:
Spectre wasn’t a turn towards evil / villainy / crime. It was her answer to keep being free & independent after a bad incident with {redacted}, turning her into someone wanted for {redacted}{redacted}and {redacted}{redacted}. Facing her mistakes was a non-starter. She didn’t harbour guilt at all, just loathing it all blew up, how fast the life she enjoyed evaporated. She had no power at all, truly none, from a time when she made games of hiding it, just so she could feign being grounded instead of a raging egotist. Quite frankly, it was a long time coming for the person that she became. She once hated someone dearly. Her first true hate. Through a {redacted}{redacted}, she became hellbent on terrorizing them, plotting the exact moment they’d snap physically and mentally. It nudged her to explore avenues and ideas she never considered herself capable of, just to have one over on them. At around the same time, she was having her first love, relentlessly pursuing.

She played the victim, she played their friend, was their nightmare, their admirer, their god and their lesser. She became what she accused through the {redacted} that ensued. It was these traits, combo with a {redacted} in her personal life, that led to her ultimate {redacted} before being {redacted}. After, she first fled. Just ran to hide. First to {redacted}{redacted}, the would-be Dot. Then abroad from her country of {redacted}. Of course, her proclivities only stirred new trouble. An addiction, because she had no accountability. She started caring much less about whether her ideas would cause long term consequences because there wasn’t reversing the damage already done to her rap sheet. In one way, she thought the only way was to hide, then in another, “Retreat isn’t the same as peace terms. This is scorched earth.” Leading to… ultimately… a season of hedonism, suicidal audacity, but making it a purpose to “beat the game” that was whatever escapade they found with challenge and risk.

They climbed {redacted} in {redacted} to see a clear night sky, clouds forming in, and had a conversation that went something like: So anyway, what are we ACTUALLY gonna do with ourselves? … Why, other than being night-owl libertarians. They seeked a mission. Shared an itch for high-stakes action. They settled on the wiiiiiild idea of wrestling. And if they’re gonna be unapologetic, then they’ll become its evil conquerors. As the two thought about it, a {redacted} flashed in the sky to give them pause, a realization, and an idea that vaguely went something like:

“I got it! Let's be terrorists!” :D

Which came with acknowledged risks. She endured a litany of injuries that made her body more vulnerable and pained, but there is nothing she dreads more than becoming immobile. Thus, every match is like fighting her fragility to be something incredible. It doesn’t matter at all how much smoke she blows, it’s full commitment or none at all.

Main Story:

Disclaimer: Yes her matches are out of order. I’d ask you to just ignore any writings of “match X” in the posts plz, lemme cook.

At this point in time, Spectre & Dot were like thieving raccoons who operated in secrecy. They lingered in abandoned places and drew their plans in chalk and open areas to practice their elements like entrances, to catchphrase, to attitude and how they’ll get their message across. Spectre at first adhered to the silent ninja threat. A cyborg with no feeling, dull, but so mechanically malevolent that she’d seem inhuman. Mystique as they call it, was her original foundation.

At the time they mainly just stuck to rigging cameras, hacking systems and used the information to find valuables to claim, and watch people of interest. They made things from junk, used parks and abandoned places to train and hone combat & theatre. Gradually they mapped out their hideouts, coming across an abandoned observatory upon a hill that became their core lair. While Spectre looked for reliable contacts for metals and other materials to build solar panels, power banks and a {redacted}, Dot sought out more elements that would give them a unique edge to scare people, leading to an interest at a university campus in Kyoto.

As both are working in the background, Spectre debuts:

The Audrey match was another brain child scheme of Spectre & Dot’s. Spectre wanted to pummel people with her eccentric contraptions as a test to her engineering & coding skills. Dot made it their throne by turning it into the Ryona Livestream, the architect of its style, composition and at least half of the elements at times. The outcome of said livestream: Episode 1 sparked a core rivalry with{redacted}{redacted} that prompted a real change in strategy, but they needed time to think, so kept the course. First things first, she needed money. Another livestream victim was the mission.

At long last, she had her prize:

Standard Match: Alena Stepanova — ONGOING

A very popular and dangerous Russian martial artist challenged her, coming from a family boosted in oil money. In that match, Alena Stepanova shocked both audience members and Spectre in smashing her mouth-mask, leaving her nearly exposed. The fruits of Dot’s adventure at the university uncovered a chemist who had some pretty gnarly concoctions. They took a formula that became their Nocturne fear gas. After rigging it from inside the stage posts, they released it post-match. Things… May has gotten a little out of hand, creating an ongoing news crisis on tv channels, which became the medium of her next livestream. In the follow-up thread: [coming soon] taking place in a leased out nightclub basement, now rigged with the usual combo of Speck engineering wizardry and Dot’s creative genius to give it the new presentation theme. It’ll mark an important change towards her modern look and attitude, where she dons a domino mask to be its more verbal host. A sort of last minute decision.

Afterwards , she did a little experimentation…

Custom Rules Match: Astra Nova — ONGOING

…And developed her formula. In the background she pondered, weighed her masks and workshopped them. Frankly she did not want to keep replacing those masks regularly if they could be broken. Neither did she want to keep slobbering in a cloth whenever ejecting spit. Though getting to finally speak her mind at these lamb-trick-dick-bitches was going to be a real perk. She’s always been loud & proud. A captain of a terroristic troupe AND queen of the screen.

Thus her ongoing story follows this final transformation. The publicity she got gave her epiphany of how exactly she’d climb this neverending ladder of feats and glory. She’d create news headlines and spread her viral terror shamelessly so it begged for an antidote. Then she’ll architect the downfall, curate the angle so the eyes of the world—from fans, haters, civilians, politicians, the police, the fucking church and all inbetween—ALL will watch and yearn for her destruction, night-in and night-out. And then: she’ll snub their hopes, then rob them blind. Win or, dare I say with the biggest improbability, “lose”, she’ll stay on mission. She only needs to keep hunting, keep being awful, and never admit inadequacy. Give them frequent reminders, be a name everyone recoils to, have a signature and a GRAND PLAN.

She started The Spectral Network. What was mainly meant to harbour their growing collection of blackmail material, theft spoils, gadgets and fear gas, expanded to become their powerbase and central surveillance point. Her next big hit was at a research lab subcontractor handling secretive AI. Dot was able to fabricate an entire resume, credentials and talk her way into an internship to map the inside and gather vital information, while Spectre created a virus. The former stole a program called Dodomeki, a security AI specializing through threat detection, predictive policing, camera monitoring, and cyber security defence. Then when they put it on their hardware, Spectre used her virus to infect the AI, allowing them to remodel it juuuust a pinch.

She named it Panic, an ai that’s scared in her presence yet seeks her approval like a needy subject. Its personality otherwise is mocking and sadistic, similar to them but more monotone. Spectre’s emotions thus become its fixation point, shaping its action. Her voice is its highest command, for better or worse. Next, she gave it protocols for defensive actions commanding traps and mechanisms she configures to it. And lastly, she had the program copied onto a usb to spread it where she needs to. She could count on a level of security both here… and abroad. If anything else was needed, just hire them—including thugs. On a grander front, she wanted real locations fixed with screens for broadcast, with traps and security to draw rivals into for future battles. Broadly as well, she needed to expand her data mining and data banks to keep up, so she hides them wherever she can like Escobar hid money, just more urban. Using Panic, they started to expand their territories through deals, finders-keepers, or purple sacraments.

Thus, we end up where I’m done writing this for now. This may get an extension eventually, but you can consider any match with the cape and domino mask to be her sorta “current” arc. Consider anything out of line kinda retconned to fit that lol. The rest of her matches are below. There’s no strict order chronologically, as I’m playing her more loosely nowadays both how she advances story-wise and making booking much less important. Just looking for fun for now, so I hope ye enjoyed my read.

Enemies & Allies

Allies:
  1. Dot — Spectre’s #1 Henchwoman and second in command. A sort of creative genius when it comes to the stage with many small talents at her whim. Spectre finds her supremely impressive after an extended shared history, but principally demands her absolute loyalty and priority. In exchange, she's given faith. A level of deep trust and autonomy with defined borders. Her trust is flawed but strong. Spectre is possessive and sometimes paranoid that she may wonder, sometimes getting jealous when Dot is all over someone else. Nevertheless, the two enshrine solidarity. When Spectre falters, Dot drags her to the winning circle or drops with her. When she wants a timed cue for a cheat, a drop-in, a stage effect or special cue, Dot is a gesture away. And when Spectre wishes for a flawless night, she sends Dot before letting her foot place the punctuation and subsequent pinfall. By all means, Dot is this girl’s prized sword and shield.
Enemies:
  1. Leah "Snow" Becker - A tasty one that Spectre found too adorable to left unbullied. She wants to capture her, as her first attempt: here will show. Now with the ire of the Old Tales faction, she strikes them directly at their hideout. Watch that: here.
  2. Trinette Vailant - A budding nemesis and future slave if she had her way. There is not enough words to describe how much she wants to get on this one's nerves all the time and see that mask break. She considers them to be a witch. Anyways, they started off with a promo: here, which directly leads to their ironwoman match.
  3. Luke Cranston - A mismatch that she's quite happily to turn upside down using an audacious scheme. She quite likes his look, but that fades away when he talks, which is somehow uniquely aggravating. Nonetheless, that only fuels her want to kick his ass. They first had a promo: here, then a match at Turning Point PPV here.
  4. Audrey Trovita - Sort of just her bully victim. She knocked her really loopy from what she's calling a "bug" in the script, so likes to stomp on her when she can. First had a match with her: here, then did her first ryona livestream: here.
  5. Alena Stepanova - The beautiful audacious Russian that almost demasked her in their match: here. Then, in the upcoming thread [placeholder] Spectre dons her domino mask as a temporary fix to the solution. She breaches national headlines for the first time, marking a new phase in her grand plan.
  6. Bill - Other than dishing her a lot of pain, there's something about tipping over Hercules that she finds personally addicting. This is also her second match of the Madison Gambit Supercard, where she attempts to make him surrender before even exchanging fists: here.
  7. Katherine Hart - Representative of a very tall mountain and an extremely strong candidate to create just the show she wants. They first made their grand appearance: here, marking Spectre's first appearance in her current form. After ruining Kat's charity promo, they later had a match at the Madison Gambit Supercard: here.
  8. Astra Nova - Another nemesis rival themed as her antidote. Her first match with the great Interstellar Heroine: here, laid the foundation for their war to come.
  9. Sayori Aimoto - Just finds her cute, which is casus belli talk for a golden ticket to her livestream. Will she get it? Find out: here.
