The ash, the spazz and the ring - NODQ/fall counts

"She commented. She went to grab both of her legs. She pulled her away from the ropes.



She wanted to make sure she wasn't too close. So. She kicked ash back. To help stun her. She went down on top of her. Hook her arms to her legs. She then uses her hands to put her into an STO camel clutch, aka Speranza's grasp.

"Hmmmm, yeah. You like my submission finisher?" She would taunt her if she pulled this off. She knew she wouldn't. She wants to see if she has the power to push through.

Speranza had escaped Ashley's hold completely, forcing the redhead to fall forward and bring her hands in front of her to avoid faceplanting on the hard floor at ringside. Ashley felt lost for a moment; she was sure to have the dark-haired girl right in her clutches, yet somehow, this one had escaped with great ease... perhaps Ashley got too confident in her move, underestimating her opponent's ability. And instantly paying the price of her mistake.

Before Ashley could even attempt to stand up, Speranza was already over her. The Brit grunted, feeling the girl's body landing on her lower back, hooking her arms over her legs, and pulling tightly from Ashley's chin, trapping The Red Menace into a cruel Camel Clutch.

"Grahh..." A pained cry escaped Ashley's lips as her head was yanked hard, forcing her back to bend past her limits. Testing the redhead's flexibility right on the spot.

"You... -Urk!" she snarled, trying to curse her opponent, but the strain was too much- Ashley shook her body, wiggling her arms in a futile attempt to escape the hold before she sustained much damage.

Speranza got her and got her good. She is trying to keep her in there. Locking in to make her tap out to her submission.

She feels her wiggling her arms to try and free herself. Speranza would go all in to inflict more pain on her to help make sure that she doesn't.

If Ashley is able to let herself be free. Speranza would let her go. Would go back some. Then, when she gets up, run at her with a body splash.

"Grahhh!" Ashley let out a pained groan, still trapped in Speranza's hold. The Brit continued to try and fight back, rapidly moving her arms at her sides until she managed to slid them over Speranza's knees, with her elbows making contact with the canvas once more. However her head was still being pulled by the dark haired gal.

Ashley would attempt to grab Speranza's hands and slowly push them up until the were closer to her mouth. Taking full advantage of the "No DQ" stipulation, Ashley would bite one of Speranza's hands, trying to force her to release the lock.

Speranza felt that Ashley finally escaped with her arms. She, however, keeps her lock on her chin. Trying to inflict damage. The best she can before Ashley does anything.

Ashley then did something dirty to Speranza. She went to go bite her hands. Speranza let her go. She was still on top of Ashley.

She then got bitten again and again. She kept on getting bitten until she got off of Ashley. She doesn't think she got bitten so much in a match.

Ashley's dirty tactics had worked, forcing Speranza to release her or risk losing her hand. The Brit's head flopped to the ground, but Ashley quickly caught herself with both hands before swiftly turning her body around, now facing Speranza. The redhead raised one leg and shot it forward immediately, trying to kick the dark-haired girl on her chest. A hard impact that attempted to knock her down and away from her. Giving Ashley the chance to recover a little before attempting to mount an offense of her own.

If the kick landed successfully and it managed to push Speranza, The Red Menace would then proceed to run in her direction, and as soon as she was close enough, she would drop herself down with one arm up, aiming to slam Speranza in the chest with a short-clothesline.

Ashley kicks Speranza away. She's fine with that. She also wanted some distance. Especially after a failed submission. It's a good time to go after your opponent if they fail. She has done it before.

Speranza thinks since it was her finisher that it will be some time before Ashley gets back up. She was thinking about what to do. She, of course, took this time to rest her body a bit.

All of a sudden she heard running. She went uh oh. Well, in her mind, that is. Ashley went to go for a clothesline when she went up to see what it was.

Still feeling the strain of Speranza's submission move, the Red Menace decides to push through the pain, getting up right away and looking to take advantage of this small window to capitalize.

"Grahhh!" Ashley let out a wild roar, running toward Speranza at full speed. The dark-haired gal was just recovering from the kick, and the moment she turned her head around, she saw the redhead's bicep just mere inches from her, just mere moments before the smacking noise of the Brit's powerful arm slamming hard against her chest filled the arena. A thunderous clothesline-

Ashley's momentum carried her back down to the floor, right after almost beheading the poor gal, whereas Speranza saw herself falling unceremoniously to the canvas in a heap. The redhead took a few moments to catch her breath while resting on her knees, hoping the hit had been strong enough to leave Speranza stunned for a while. Ashley looked over her shoulder, casting a glance at her opponent.

"Huff... how's that?" she teased.

"Very…nice." Speranza responded back. She didn't think Ashley would expect a response. She shouldn't be focusing on that. Not a good idea.

Speranza goes to get up to knee level. She does a wide sweep with her left leg to get up. She's going to get up and stand up.

When she gets up. She goes for a bit of a job. Towards Ashelym, she is going to go for a jumping roundhouse kick to Ashley, and if that works, follow it with an elbow drop.

Ashley's clothesline had connected successfully with Speranza's chest, giving the redhead a faint sense of satisfaction. "Serves you right!" Ashley hyped herself under her breath. Resting with one knee on the mat as she slowly recovered from the effort it took to free herself from Speranza's finisher hold. This match had been quite a challenge so far: An intense back-and-forth where neither girl wanted to give an inch to the other. If Ashley wanted to come out on top, she had to think of a way to wrap things up decisively.

The redhead turned around, glancing toward her opponent just in time to catch Speranza coming at her.

"Damn..." Ashley cursed. The dark-haired gal was already on the move, even after receiving the attack directly. "You just don't quit, do you?" The Red Menace uttered in annoyance, while bracing herself for the impact.

-SMACK- Ashley's forearms absorbed the brunt of the blow; this one carried enough force to push the redhead back to the mat, with her back hitting the canvas. A pained grunt escaped Ashley's lips, but she got on the offense right away. "You are really pissing me off, now!". Ashley rolled to the side right before Speranza's elbow managed to hit her. Dodging the attack entirely. Her opponent would end up slamming her arm onto the ring canvas instead, a not-too pleasant feeling for sure.

"Let's see if you like this!"

Ashley would attempt to go for Speranza's legs before this one could recover. Seizing both of her feet and quickly crossing her legs and rolling Speranza around, Ashley would execute her submission move "Hellbent" returning to Speranza the favor from earlier and then some.
