Niko continued to groan and wince in pain as her ribs were crushed with brutal force by her opponent's thighs, making her feel as if her ribs would cave in any moment. Worse yet her prying and pulling at Lei's legs were futile, not doing anything to weaken the force of the submission. 'Damn it... what do I do?' Niko thought before gasping as she felt her body lifted into the air before being dropped back down hard onto her shoulder!

"Agh!" Niko cried out as she was lifted up again and continued to be slammed! "Gah!" Niko cried out before her eyes widened slightly. 'Wait... I can use this.' Niko thought to herself and as Lei went to lift her up again Niko would use the higher positioning to turn and twist her body with everything she had just as they began to go back down. Hoping the combination of the sudden twist along with the downward momentum would be enough to free herself from Lei's legs!

Lei thought she had this little spar locked up. She knew how damn strong her own legs were, and while Niko was enduring them better than most of her disciples back home, the pinkette was still clearly on the verge of cracking. The grip of Lei's thighs was tight, and the pounding of Niko into the sand was hard and repetitive. It should just be a matter of when.

But then as Lei was slamming Niko down for the umpteenth time, the Lightweight suddenly jerked her body between the brunette's legs. The shift caused just enough of a disruption in Lei's grip that when her legs hit the ground, they were jarred open, and Niko was able to slip out. "Well damn," Lei said as she did a kip-up back to her feet. "I thought I had you done for! Not bad at all."

Despite the painful squeeze she was in from Tiki's thighs Niko was able to grit her teeth and twist sharply at the last second, managing to free herself from her opponent's legs at just the right moment to get out and back onto the sand! Gasping in relief at this Niko would take a couple of big breaths as she rolled across the sand before pushing herself up and looked at Lei with a smile on her face at hearing what the woman said. "Hehe... I'm a lot tougher than I look you know." Niko said as she then got back to her feet fully, lifting her hands up and starting to circle Lei, deciding now would be the time to take a more defensive position against someone like Lei.

"Hmm, clearly," Lei said after Niko professed her durability. "Though I've heard that Tiki is a rough mentor. I guess if you're with her long enough, eventually you have to be able to take a beating."

"You're not wrong," Tiki said. "Before I started training her, we had a match where I fought with my arms literally tied behind my back and still had her screaming a submission in under 30 seconds. Nowadays. . . she's getting close to the point where she can beat me at my full power. Isn't that right, Niko? Play your cards right, and the match against Hilda will just be practice for when you go after Annie Clark's belt and take on a big time powerhouse!"

"Haven't been around long enough to really know much about your title scene, but good luck with that," said Lei. Then she smirked at Niko, "Well I'd say you've had enough time to rest. You gonna come do something? Or am I gonna have to get over there and kick your butt?"

Niko chuckled a bit at what Lei said before nodding light heartedly at what Tiki then said after the fact. "Hehe thanks Tiki I owe it all to you. And Lei the important part is that you're looking at someone who may be a champion soon and if you don't see it already then I'll show it to you now so yeah lets get back to it!" Niko said confidently as she rushed back in at Lei, jumping up as she neared and seemingly going for a hip attack. However Niko had made this jump a bit prematurely with the intention to throw Lei off, aiming to land at Lei's side just out of range of her. As she did this Niko would in turn immediately twist on her foot, lifting her leg to try and go for a roundhouse kick aimed at Lei's ribs!

One of the biggest weaknesses that Lei would come to find in her fighting style at LAW is that as somebody trained in an ancient Chinese martial art, she stands highly unprepared for the sheer unorthodoxy with which some wrestlers fight in these modern times. To wit, Lei had never fought an opponent who threw her ass back to attack like Niko was now. Well, she'd had a dream about a caveman who fought like that once, but that's besides the point.

Due to Lei's inexperience in handling this sort of attack, she wasn't able to judge the distance accurately enough to realize that Niko wasn't even going to hit her with the ass attack at all. So when Niko landed and the Roundhouse Kick came, Lei only had time to pull her leg up and block. When their legs collided, Lei had managed to protect her ribs, but was left hopping back with a throbbing shin. "Damn. . ." she muttered.

"Jeez, Niko. When did you become a kicker?" Tiki asked, noticed the pop behind her student's attack.

Managing to successfully catch Lei off guard Niko smiled as her kick landed and had the older woman wincing in pain as well as earning a compliment from her own teacher. "Will explain later!" Niko huffed out, not wasting any time as she pushed forward after Lei as the woman hopped back. Lifting her leg up she would make it seem as if she were going for a straight kick at her opponent's gut, only to push it back down and twist, sweeping her leg around and aimed at Lei's legs, regardless of the success of this Niko would jump up after the spin, popping her leg out for a even more powerful kick aimed at Lei's abdomen! Or if her sweep had managed to knock Lei down to the sand then Niko would use the jump up and following descent to raise her leg then bring it down for a axe kick at Lei's chest!

I wonder if she found a specialist to help improve her kicking or striking, Tiki thought after Niko kept mum about her sudden improvement in kicking ability. After all, for as much faith as she had in the shortstack, Tiki still wouldn't have picked Niko to come out on top of Lei in a kick clash. The veteran hoped she was right. After all, she had advised Niko to seek out more sources of learning other than just Tiki herself when they first started together.

On Lei's end, she was left on the back foot since she was the only one between the two of them trying to recover from a stinging shin right now. So the kung fu master was forced to defend against Niko's continued aggression. Lei planted her pained leg into the sand, bracing herself to stand strong against the kick at her stomach and counter. But Niko caught her with a feint twice in a row now as the brunette was instead sent tumbling to her back by a sweep, followed by an Axe Kick crashing down onto her chest. "AURGH!" Lei cried out as Niko took a massive advantage, positioned well to pay the kung fu master back for her earlier offensive.

Niko smiled softly as her foot drove down into her opponent's stomach, pushing nearly all the air out of the woman in the process and putting the advantage firmly in Niko's court as she looked down at Lei. Admittedly it was nice being able to show both her and Tiki what she had learned and could truly do. However Niko had to remind herself that she had to stay focused and not give Lei a chance to regain her bearings and get back up. As such Niko would leap up, aiming to come down hard on her foe's face with a massive hip drop on Lei's chest! Upon the successful landing she would then show Lei exactly where her specialties lie, reaching down to grab Lei by the head and pull her up into a sitting position before pressing the woman's face into her breasts for a extra tight boob smother!

Lei had gotten enough of a rundown on Niko beforehand from Tiki that the kung fu master knew that if the shortstack started whipping out her butt or breasts, then she was going for the kill. Or at the very least something devastating. So when Lei saw Niko above her, leading with her ass as she descended, the shifu knew that she couldn't let this connect. Furthermore, she also reasoned that a counter probably shouldn't try to directly challenge the descending derriere.

Lei would shoot her legs up, bending them around Niko's butt to catch her around the waist, and then slam her into the sand. However, Lei remembered that she had already attacked from a position like this before, and while she had gotten good damage out of it, Niko had figured out how to beat it, and would likely only escape faster if Lei tried it again. So instead, the kung fu master would try to reposition her legs from around Niko's body to around her arm, so she could put the pinkette in an Armbar.
