Divine Stars (Kate & Nate) vs The Won Siblings (Bridget & Cindy)

Standard Tag Match

Another day, another match. This was becoming the norm for the Divine Stars. The duo had been getting in lots of matches. Not only that, but they were taking on actual tag teams now and not just stables. So it seemed they were making progress. Though one thing was still bugging them, where were all the guys? Every team and stable they had fought were composed of two or more girls. Not once had they fought a guy. Where they perhaps all just scared, or perhaps they also desired only to fight girls. Perhaps they could get a manager and get them to set something up. Well, nothing they could do about it now, but keep winning matches.

The two Greek wrestlers would check their uniforms, making sure everything was correct, before doing a few stretches as well. With that out of the way, they would exit the locker room. The blond duo would make their way down the hallway. Here, they would spot some fellow wrestlers and crew members. Kate would give a nod to a few of them and even say hi to some, but Nate would focus ahead.

The Divine Stars eventually reached the staging area. They would now wait just outside the curtains, awaiting their signal. The stadium was buzzing, full of noise, lights, chatter and all sorts of distractions. The lights and the music suddenly turned off without warning, ending all the distractions. Then two spotlights would turn on, being the only source of light. At the center of the spotlight were Nate and Kate, back to back, posing for everyone to see.

The two blonde wrestlers would hold the pose for a moment as their theme song began to play.

“Making their way down to the ring at a combined weight of 296 pounds is Nate and Kate of the Divine Stars!” said the announcer as Kate and Nate made their way down the ramp, as the spotlight continued to follow them.

The duo quickly reached the outside of the ring, where they would climb up the steps. They would then split off, one spotlight following each Divine Star. The duo, at the exact same time, jumped over the top ropes, refusing to go below anything; after all, nothing was above them. Each Divine Star would then climb up a neutral turnbuckle before posing for the crowd, letting them enjoy the cheers and roar of the audience for a few seconds. After a moment had passed, they each jumped off the top turnbuckle and made their way to their corner, now awaiting their opponents.

Time spent outside of the spotlight of any major wrestling promotion did little to stymie the dual egos of those who were once considered to be one of the best tag-teams within Wrestle Angels. The sisters having explored the LAW arena's compound beforehand with snickered critiques of the facility whispered between eachother as if it were a private joke between them, but at the very least acknowledging that the accommodations were more favorable than the underground fighting pits they've been frequenting recently. The thrill of competition within a squared circle being the main draw for them considering they could earn three times as much continuing to apply their numerous skills as right hand henchwomen to whichever crimelord that could afford them. Blood money tended to taint one’s hands though, and therefore the siblings opted to try once again at a more legitimate means of making their way within the world. For now. Now suited in the traditional wrestling attire and having stretched beforehand, the sisters overheard their theme being played as they stepped in unison passed whatever employees and backstage personnel and towards the billowing curtain separating the gorilla position from the spotlight they craved.

"...Now entering the ring, hailing from Beijing, The Sinful Sisters and Duplicitous Taekwondo Masters Of Chi...Weighing in at a combined weight of 276 pounds...The Won Siblings~..."

The Won Siblings~...

Traditional Chinese music was being played throughout the speakers as the arena darkened slightly to highlight the spotlights beaming the symbol of Yin And Yang at the top of the ramp. Each sister standing within one side of the circle with one fist propped against the palm of their other hand, performing a respectful bow before arising with sinister smirks. Audience members voicing their displeasure from the appearance of two of the more notorious heel wrestlers in Wrestler Angel, infamous for their effective yet nevertheless ruthless tactics within the ring. Neither sister paying any mind to the discontented masses as they walked in unison down the ramp way, in perfect sync as they hoisted themselves upon the ring apron and stepped through the ropes. Neglecting to perform any theatricality or pandering to the audience and instead strolling towards the middle of the ring to begin conducting business with their adversaries. "Hmm, so this is the tag-team making waves within this federation. I always did have a weakness for blondes, which is why it's such a shame that our adversaries inevitably end up several shades of crimson by the time we're through..." The sisters ominously declared one before the other.

The Divine Stars watched as their opponents made their entrance. They heard an Eastern-style music that began to play. They then heard the boos coming from the crowd. It seemed the audience wasn't pleased with their opponents, giving them boos. That meant they were likely a heel team and would fight dirty, good information to have. The two asian opponents then entered the ring, no performance, just straight business, before giving a few words. This meant they probably didn't showboat or anything. This was probably going to be a very tough match, but nothing that the Gods couldn't handle.

"You hear that? They think they have already won the match. Typical mortal overconfidence." said Kate as she gave a smirk and dismissed the comments made by their opponents. "Perhaps we should teach them a lesson." said Nate as she nodded his head in approval. "So, you two ready to take on some Divine opponents? Let's see if you have the skill to back up those words." said Kate as she pointed to the Asian duo.

The ruthless efficiency with which the Eastern sisters conduct their underworld dealings was showcased through their minimalist entrance and lack of theatricality. Catering to the mindless masses being of precisely zero importance to them, especially when their concentration was better spent on devising methods of dismantling whomever their adversaries were. A tactic that earned them the ire of specific fanbases whenever they made celebrated babyfaces yield in submissions or be kayoed into a delirious unconsciousness. Curious glances were nevertheless directed towards their supposedly celestial opponents rebuking the Won Sibling's words. "...*giggle*...Oh, this is unexpected. They fancy themselves as actual Divine beings lording over us mere mortals. And they accuse us of possessing overly inflated egos. How hypocritical...Well I'll give them props for the dedication in adhering to the act, I suppose. I'm still confused as to whether they're brother and sister or not. A conundrum saved for after we've beaten them, perhaps..." The sisters mirthfully amusing themselves as the twins backpedaled to their corner with Cindy opting to begin the match and approach the center of the ring whenever the match officially commenced.

Kate and Nate would roll their eyes at the comments being made by the twins. Not only were they mocking them, but they weren't even directly talking to them. Well, that was just more of a reason to teach them a lesson and give them a brutal beatdown. "A shame that will never happen." said Kate in response to the twins. "Don't bother wasting your breath on them, Kate; they aren't even worth that much. By the time this is over, they won't even remember what happened tonight." said Nate in response to his tag partner.

"Well then, why don't I start us off." said Kate in an eager tone. With that, Nate would nod his head and make his way to his corner. Kate, on the other hand, would move up, making her way to the center of the ring. She would see that the blue twin had decided to start the match with her. "Let's see if your bite can match your bark." stated the blonde wrestler.

DING DING DING

The sound of the bell would signal the start of the match. Kate would extend her arms forward, entering a grappling stance as she would start to circle around her opponent, attempting to see if she could flank her. After a moment or two, she would then move in, trying to go for the typical tie-up down at the start of a match.

Given their affinity for mischievous banter and notorious reputation as opportunistic criminal delinquents, acknowledging whenever the twins were being quite genuine and truthful would be a difficult task for practically anyone. But the Won Siblings were indeed being quite genuine when expressing their mutual befuddlement as to what exactly was the relationship was between the supposed celestial contenders standing before them. The sisters considering it to be most perplexing since there is absolutely zero confusion as to the relationship between they themselves, but for now they quashed the debate in favor of concentrating on the task at hand. Cindy quite literally taking Kate's words in stride as the match commenced with the bell ringing in the background as the pair circled eachother. "I'd prefer not to bite, if you must know. Not when there's so many other tasks I can perform with my mouth that will leave a far more pleasurable memory~..." Cindy teased with a sinister smirk and her own stance taken when accepting the lock-up with Kate, a huffed exertion taken in stiffening her posture against her adversary before the lock-up would be interrupted by a hip strike into Kate's midsection. Attempting a side headlock takedown upon the fallen Kate now being tucked between the tightened bicep and snuggled sideboob of the Azure-haired sibling...
