Sophie admired Starlight's mental resilience. Nothing she threw her at seemed to even put a dent in the heroine's wall of confidence and optimism. Of course, the Imp didn't realize she first had to puncture the shield of obliviousness that stood in front of it.
No matter the reason, the heroine was truly shining, but perhaps a bit too bright for her own good, seemingly blinded by her own sparkle. Had she been facing anyone else that would have spelled trouble, but Sophie was content to watch her glow and admire her figure.
Her staring would be cut short though as Starlight went on the offensive. The heroine's leg moved swiftly through the air, a flash of light, and the Imp ducked down, narrowly avoiding the blow. She felt her rival's boot whizz through her hair as it passed cleanly between the ropes. The Imp then dove towards Starlight's grounded leg, grabbing it and twisting her entire body in an attempt to bring the heroine down to her level.
The villainess moved in a blur of pink and green, climbing on top of the heroine just as she hit the ground. Her hands shot up to Starlight's wrists and forced them against the mat while her legs coiled around her opponent's, trapping her in a grapevine pin.
Sophie stared down at her prisoner, her face a light shade of pink to match her hair after finally getting this close to her cute rival. "AHA! Now I've got you right where I want you!" That couldn't have been any more true as the Imp let out a few heavy, lustful breaths, the warm air brushing against the impossibly smooth skin on the heroine's cheek.

Re: The Imp vs Starlight - Every Hero Needs a Nemesis
The spinning kick came out smooth, just as she had practiced, her leg slicing through the air with a fine mix of speed and power. But the Imp’s reflexes were sharper than she’d given credit for. Sophie dropped low… very low. The heroine had made a conscious effort to aim her kick mid body to avoid her ducking it but her pink haired opponent kept finding ways to ramp the short jokes into her face. Starlight’s eyes went wide the instant she felt her boot hit nothing but air.
"S-shoot!"
Her voice pitched upward as momentum betrayed her, the heroine caught awkwardly mid-spin as she was forced to follow through with the kick. Before she could fully recover, she felt a sudden tug, Sophie’s hands wrapping around her grounded leg and pulling! The world flipped sideways, and with a startled yelp, Starlight hit the mat, shoulders bouncing once before she ended up flat on her back.
"Ugh-ow!" she grunted, trying to push herself up, only to find Sophie already on her, moving with impish speed clamoring on top of her, pushing her back down to the mat. She instincyiveky reached out to shove the girl only for her wrists to be grabbed. Her arms shook as she wrestled for control, almost certain she was the stronger one between them. Sophie had leverage on her side though, and slowly, she was able to overpower the young heroine and force her arms to the canvas. In seconds the Imp’s smaller frame pressed down as she hooked her legs around Hailey’s own, locking them in tight.
The crowd reacted instantly, cheers, laughter, and a few gasps mixing together with jeers, as Starlight wriggled and squirmed beneath her rival, her cheeks reddening as she found herself well and truly trapped.
She tried to pull her wrists free, only to feel Sophie’s grip tighten. The Imp’s triumphant laughter and teasing declaration rang in her ears, followed by that warm breath brushing against her cheek. Hailey’s eyes flicked aside, flustered for just a split second before she caught herself, thrashing a bit under the other girl.
"You can’t hold me down forever, villain," she proclaimed with proud defiance, her tone slightly playful even while she struggled. "With your arms and legs so-ngh-occupied, you’ve nothing left to fight me with~!" With that, she started trying to twist beneath Sophie, kicking and writhing with spirited energy, not reckless, but persistent, her body arching and shifting as she tried to turn toward her impish opponent, hands flexing and legs straining in defiance of the pin.

Re: The Imp vs Starlight - Every Hero Needs a Nemesis
The heroine's initial struggles were met with laughter as Sophie mocked her futile attempt to escape. "MWAHAHA! Oh I but I can and I will. Now go on and tire yourself out for me, hero~" The last word was dripping with sarcasm, almost disgust, as her grip tightened around Starlight's wrists.
The longer the heroine struggled, the harder it became for Sophie to contain herself. The way her body arched off the mat, the groans that came with each shift, the way her face puckered when she flexed her muscles. Worst of all, the way her slick, sweat-coated body moved against hers. It drove her mad.
Then she heard the heroine's naive claim. "Oh, is that so? I'll have you know..." Sophie dropped her hips, pressing her weight down on Starlight and leaning in to whisper in her ear. "...There are other ways to fight~"
The Imp was lying down on top of the heroine while maintaining the pin. The rivals were now chest to chest, belly to belly... face to face. The villainess's hips began to shift with small, deliberate motions. The exposed skin on their stomachs rubbed together, allowing Sophie to feel the warmth of her foe. The sweat from the exertion and the spotlights bearing down on them allowed Sophie to glide across her foe with ease.
Starlight was in for a rude awakening. She would teach her that a true villain attacked not only the body, but the mind as well, a lesson she was all too happy to impart in this way.

Re: The Imp vs Starlight - Every Hero Needs a Nemesis
“Jokes on you, Imp, I am well fed and rested. I can do this… for… uh… for awhile!” Starlight proclaimed confidently after being unsure how to scientifically measure her stamina in this particular situation. Her squirming didn't feel particularly taxing nor did this position really feel that painful. If anything it was just annoying to be restrained under the smaller girl… which she was now seeing that are probably the point. How sinister!
“Is that so?” Starlight scoffed at the notion, truly believing her opponent was just wasting both of their time down on the mat, presumably just to gloat and monologue some more. If anything, it seemed on brand for her time of low grade villainy. When the other girl began to rock against her, she waited for some sort of a transition to happen but no… just the bump of their hips and the grind of their bodies. What was her- oh… that actually felt…nice.
Starlight blinked, her breath quietly passing through her slightly parted lips as she had fallen still for a moment, just letting the pink haired girl on top of her gliding over her. She felt a faint bit of guilty heat rise in her cheeks and suddenly snapped back into the moment. With a renewed vigor, she threw her strength behind her push, trying to struggle one of her arms free. Her legs followed suit, tightening in a flex, firing on all cylinders to try and brute force her way out of the grapevine in a panic.

Re: The Imp vs Starlight - Every Hero Needs a Nemesis
A huge smile spread across the Imp's face, but not the sinister type she had carried through most of the match thus far. This was a sign of pure bliss, hidden just out of view of the heroine as their heads lay next to each other, the villainess breathing softly into Starlight's ear.
The already impossibly wide smile somehow grew even wider as Starlight's resistance faded and the heroine seemingly welcomed the Imp's advances. "That's right, just give in~" Sophie had only dreamed of a moment like this and now that her opponent was in her clutches she didn't intend on letting go. "No one would blame you if y-W-WHOAAA!"
And just like that the Imp was forced to wake from her dream as Starlight's thrashing resumed, more powerful than before, but also more desperate... The young lioness's movements were no longer deliberate as she simply tried to power her way out of the Imp's hold. And it was working. Sophie was forced to lift her body off the heroine to gain the leverage she needed to fight back and maintain the hold.
"W-wait! I said give in!" That leverage meant nothing anymore in the face of Starlight's newfound strength and few short seconds later her right hand would finally leave the mat, the panicked Imp unable to hold her down any longer. Sophie tried to push the hand back down, but in her frantic state had neglected to stop the heroine's left hand which, now unchallenged, shot up with enough force to topple the Imp over.
However, Sophie had never released her grip on Starlight's wrists and there legs were still coiled together. So when she toppled over she dragged the heroine with her, whose thrashing caused the pair to roll until they unceremoniously tumbled out of the ring.
They fell to the floor with a thud, finally separating from each other. The Imp sat up, a little dizzy. "Ugh... Don't think you've escaped me yet, hero!" And with that declaration, the groggy villainess continued her offensive, lunging forward and trying to grab a handful of her opponent's hair in an attempt to pull her into yet another trap.

Re: The Imp vs Starlight - Every Hero Needs a Nemesis
Starlight’s world spun in flashes of motion and color, pink hair, bright lights, and the blur of the Imp’s grin all blending together as the two tumbled in a heap of limbs and chaos. It wasn’t graceful, not even close; this was desperation and adrenaline wrapped up in one messy, rolling struggle that neither seemed willing to lose.
Every time she thought she’d gotten the upper hand, Sophie twisted, rolled, or clung tighter, dragging the heroine right back down into the fray. Starlight fought back on instinct, wriggling, kicking, and trying to plant a knee somewhere that would make the Imp let go, but they only rolled faster, until the canvas disappeared completely from beneath them.
With a jarring thud, both women crashed down to the ringside floor, the thin padding doing little to soften the blow. Starlight gasped sharply as the shock rippled up her back, the impact knocking the wind from her lungs. She arched slightly, one hand clutching at her side while she blinked through the dizziness, hearing the crowd’s sympathetic “oooh!” echoing in her ears.
She barely had time to breathe before Sophie was already lurching toward her again, eyes gleaming, hand darting out like a pink-haired predator. Starlight caught the movement at the last second, and when Sophie lunged, the heroine leaned back on instinct, boots squeaking against the matting.
"Oh no you don’t!" she squeaked out, thrusting one leg forward just as the Imp pounced. Her boot struck squarely against Sophie’s chest, the impact pushing the smaller woman backward. For a fleeting moment, Starlight thought she’d managed to break free-
Until she felt the sudden, sharp tug at her scalp.
Her ponytail jerked violently as Sophie’s hands remained stubbornly tangled in it, the movement pulling Starlight forward again with a startled yelp. "Eee-hey! L-let go!" she cried, both hands shooting up to her head in vain as she twisted in pain.
The two of them tangled again, Starlight half-kicking, half-squirming, her boot still pressed against Sophie’s chest, keeping her as far away as her hair would allow, as she tried to pry her ponytail free.
"Ow—owowow—let go of my hair, you naughty little gremlin!" she yelped, voice cracking somewhere between indignation and panic as the crowd roared with laughter and cheers at the chaos ringside.

Re: The Imp vs Starlight - Every Hero Needs a Nemesis
The Imp moved quick, pouncing on the heroine while she was still on her back. Her hand had shot out, her fingers successfully tangling themselves within Starlight's ponytail, but just as they did her opponent's sparkly boot rammed against her chest, jolting her upward. She held on though, yanking the ponytail as she was knocked back, refusing to let go.
As Starlight tried to push Sophie away she only caused herself more pain. Each kick to the Imp's chest was met with a hard yank that would extract a yelp from the rookie. "Oof! Quit your squirming and just let me hit you!" Neither of them seemed to be making any headway in the struggle, just teetering back and forth, trading small blows.
Tired of the stalemate, and having her chest kicked, Sophie planted her feet down firmly on floor and the next Starlight kicked she would move with it. "I'm not a gremlin!" She yelled as she gave the heroine's ponytail one big tug and threw her body backwards, flopping onto her back and pulling Starlight over her so that their positions were now reversed.
"I'm the Imp!" With an annoyed shout Sophie's feet shot up into the heroine's stomach, lifting her off the ground and sending her up and over as the Imp monkey flipped her rival right into the barricade, finally releasing her hair, but that was the least of the rookies worries right now.
Sophie got up to her feet, looking confident after coming out on top in that interaction, and towered over Starlight. She figured the heroine would be down for a good while after that and decided, like any good villain would, to gloat. She stomped on the girl's stomach and began to rub her heel in, trying to humiliate the young lioness. "Well Sparkles, seems I'm too much for you. Feel free to surrender whenever you'd like~"
The Imp placed her hands on the barricade and used it to push herself up, lifting her other foot off the ground and applying even more pressure to her opponent's stomach. The boos from the crowd hardly registered for her as she was too preoccupied with the intoxicating groans and whimpers of the battered heroine beneath her.

Re: The Imp vs Starlight - Every Hero Needs a Nemesis
Perhaps the worst game of tug rope ever conceived, Starlight engaged in a battle over her ponytail. Driving her boot into the little pink meanie all the while having her neck cranked as she kept hold of her hair. In this battle of resolve though, the heroine was sure her scalp would survive with a few split edges to show for it while her opponent was going to have a much worse time with a bruised chest and stomach.
When Sophie lunged in, the two tumbled again, rolling on the harder mats until Starlight took the top, about to make her pay with a fist across the face. Before she could, however, a heel dug into her sternum and she found herself being catapulted with her hair as the thing dragging her down.
The impact with the barricade rattled every bone in Starlight’s body, the metal groaning as she collided with it, then slumping to the floor on her shoulders, legs dangling over her head before gravity flopped her over and she rolled onto her back. For a brief moment, she lay there dazed, chest rising and falling in shallow, staccato breaths. The ponytail that Sophie had yanked so viciously now spilled loose across the floor, a few strands stuck to the sweat on her cheek.
Her boots shifted weakly against the matting, the young heroine trying to remember which way was up. The crowd was rallying behind her, but their voices felt distant, muffled beneath the ringing in her ears. She barely managed to brace before Sophie’s shadow loomed over her.
Then came the stomp.
Starlight’s body jolted, a sharp gasp tearing from her lips. Her hands instinctively shot to Sophie’s ankle, trying to shove her off, but the villainess twisted her heel cruelly into her midsection, grinding it in with a mocking flourish.
"Nnngh-not even close!" she wheezed, her face scrunching with a mix of pain and indignation.
Her words came out breathy, broken between grunts, but that stubborn glimmer in her eyes refused to die. Even as Sophie balanced on one foot, pressing down harder, Starlight’s hands found their grip again, one on the Imp’s boot, the other braced to the ground. Her knuckles went white as she pushed back, twisting her body just enough to relieve the pressure on her stomach.
"If you think a hero gives up that easy..." she huffed, forcing a shaky smile, "then you haven’t met me yet!"
With a sudden burst of energy, Starlight flexed her core, tightening up to abdomen. With both hands on Sophie’s boot she shoved it to the side, timing it with a kick off the barricade to knock the woman’s leg out from under her as Starlight rolled away, mindful to not be where Sophie was likely to fall. She would get herself some distance before pushing up to her feet, grimacing as she gripped her punished midsection.

Re: The Imp vs Starlight - Every Hero Needs a Nemesis
The Imp continued crushing the heroine's stomach, reveling in her pained grunts. However she seemed unable to crush the heroine's spirits as Starlight simply stared up at the villainess and smiled despite her poor position. Sophie couldn't take it anymore... this girl... she was so cool! Even as the Imp tortured her like this, she didn't waver even a little. She was the picture of a true hero! She was... rolling away?!
Before she knew it, Starlight had freed herself and thrown the Imp off balance, causing her to topple over and faceplant onto the hard ringside floor. She quickly pushed herself up to her knees, her hands clutching her face and hiding her flustered look, her chest still stinging from Starlight's earlier kicks. The villainess shouted in the most menacing tone she could muster. "Ugh... you'll pay for that! That was just the beginning of your torment!"
Despite her minor victory however, the heroine was clearly worse for wear, slightly hunched over and clutching her stomach in pain. Some of her hair had fallen out of her ponytail and fallen down the side of her face, framing her beautifully exhausted face.
Sophie pushed herself back up to her feet, preparing her next plan of attack. She wanted to keep her opponent on the defensive, especially since they were now outside the ring. With no rules, the Imp was free to push the heroine to her limits out here. "I'll take that as a challenge, rookie." She pointed confidently at Starlight, hiding her own pain well in an attempt to make the heroine feel hopeless. "I will make you submit to my villainy!"
With that declaration the Imp began to charge at her opponent once more, crouching down just before reaching her and sticking her arm between Starlight's legs. If Starlight didn't act quickly Sophie would raise her arm and hit the heroine with a devastating low blow.

Re: The Imp vs Starlight - Every Hero Needs a Nemesis
Starlight was hunched low, one arm clutching her stomach as her chest rose and fell in uneven rhythm. Every breath still burned from the Imp’s cruel stomps, and yet… there it was again, that little smirk tugging at the corner of her lips. She let Sophie’s words roll over her, those grand declarations of villainy ringing loud and proud. If nothing else, the girl had flair.
"Y-you sure talk big for someone who just kissed the floor," Starlight breathed out, her tone ragged but playfully defiant. She shifted slightly, using the ring apron for balance, her free hand still hovering protectively over her middle. To anyone watching, and especially to Sophie, she looked spent. Her shoulders sagged, her legs trembled, and her expression, though brave, wavered just enough to sell the act.
The Imp grinned, sensing weakness, and took the bait.
As Sophie closed the distance, lowering into a crouch and thrusting her arm forward to strike, Starlight suddenly moved. Her exhaustion melted away in an instant, replaced by that electric burst of energy that had defined her since the bell first rang.
She popped up, gripping the bottom rope behind her, and with a swift, gymnastic motion, pulled herself up high. Her toned legs snapping out to try and capture Sophie’s neck before the Imp could even register the shift.
"Gotcha~!"
With a sharp flex of her thighs, Starlight locked her ankles together, her body hanging from the ropes as her legs coiled around Sophie’s head like a trap snapping shut. It was a risky move, the ropes biting into Starlight’s palms, her core trembling with strain, but she held it, the sweat on her brow mixing with a triumphant grin. It seemed as if the Imp wasn't the only one here capable of laying traps and initiating tricks!
"You’re not the only one who can set snares, villain!" she teased, giving another sharp squeeze for emphasis.
