Here Comes The New Challengers! (Feat. Lucielle Costa and the Crimson Legacy)

The twins continued with their smug performance.
”Well that’s unfortunate. LAW must have made a mistake. Conducting an interview about top family tag teams and not including us in the conversation. Do you like that Jade?”
“Nope. Not. One. Bit.”
The tone became more menacing as the two women turned to face off with the brother and sister.

Kyo tensed as the two newcomers continued to drift around them, before moving up to face off against them. Up close, he could tell that the two dark-skinned women were quite tall and broadly muscled, with lean, powerful builds that spoke much towards speed and striking force. Their accents sounded vaguely Caribbean-- Kyo guessed Jamaican or Haitian, maybe?-- but they moved with the easy confidence of seasoned wrestlers...though they also had the disingenuous smiles of professional heels.

Kyo stood his ground, and met the gaze of the one woman opposite him; the one who had been referred to as "Jade" was currently sizing up Makie, who was doing her best not to show intimidation as she looked up at her towering foe.

"And you are...who, exactly?" Kyo asked as he readied himself for trouble.

The spunky and playful one began, ”We are Oria,” she motioned to herself, “And Jade Phillips.”
“We are the Trinidad and Tobago Fight Club, the TTFC,” Jade, the more stoic one, piped in.
“Twin wrestlers from a professional football family. We have been athletes since we could walk, and we are here to take LAW by storm.”
“And we’re very good at kicking balls,” Jade giggled in Kyo’s direction. The two sets of siblings now stood close and fully face to face.

Is was abundantly clear, at this point, that the two newcomers were here to pick a fight. Kyo tensed a little, on guard for any sneak attacks, but otherwise he held his ground as he met Oria and Jade in the eye, and folded his arms. Makie did the same, glaring up at Oria and Jade even though they were a head taller than her."

"Well, good for you," Kyo said, "but this is our interview. Please get your own."

"Better yet," Makie quipped, "how about you go get a debut match before you try stealing the spotlight from wrestlers who have been here longer?"

"No we think it's our interview now."
"Oh be nice, Jade. that's a great idea! We should fight another tag team formally. All we've done so far is fight Oscar Orelash and his women. Now who will we debut against?..."
Oria gave an exaggerated pondering pose before the two sisters got chest to chest (or chest to stomach in Makie's case) with their newfound rivals.

And just like that, the TTFC were getting in their faces. Kyo did not flinch as Jade's eyes became level with his. Makie, for her part, couldn't help but turn red with irritation as she was forced to crane her head to look up at Oria. The fact that her face was level with the other girl's (very nice) chest only made her blush even harder.

"If this is a challenge," Kyo told Jade, "then fine. We will happily take you on. Name the time, and the kind of match."

"Assuming you're even interested in a fair fight, that is," Makie quipped.

Jade replied, “Next week on Monday night LAW. Tornado rules. No weapons.”
“Think you can handle that?”
The twins eyed their opponents, faces inches apart. They knew full well that this was as confrontational as one could get in Japanese culture.

Kyo and Makie didn't flinch as the sisters got right in their faces. This up close, they could see just how tall, and powerful, Oria and Jade were. More importantly, they could see how they were both itching for a fight, and how they were both hungry for a victory-- that they planned to make a name for themselves over the broken bodies of the Crimson Legacy.

"We accept," Kyo replied softly.

"Bring it on," Makie added. "We'll face you both in the ring at the same time, if that's what you want. And we'll win."

Lucielle had just stayed a couple steps back and kept quiet, with careful placement that kept her on camera, to make sure that the LAW Universe knew that this segment had come about because of her. With that accomplished, she just let things play out. No attempts at intervention; her wrestler's instincts knew that was how you get the best matches. And the better the match, the better it'll look for her.

Both teams had all but shaken hands at this point, so she'd finally speak up here:

"You've heard it here, folks: The Crimson Legacy versus the Trinidad and Tobago Fight Club. Tornado Tag rules!"

She kept her mic ready for any closing comments.

Seeing that Lucille had generously left the mic extended for them, Makie edged stepped forward with a confident grin as she glared up at both Oria and Jade. ""Just be careful," she said. "You two asked for a tornado tag, but you're about to step into the ring with a hurricane! Oh, and also?" She leaned a little closer to both of the sisters. "Last I checked, Japan is in the top twenty world football rankings. Can Trinidad and Tobago say the same?"

Kyo tensed. He got the feeling that football meant a lot to the two Trinidadian sisters, and felt that Makie might be pushing the envelope too far here...
