“Only in your dreams!" Nerissa retorted.
The Native American woman remained motionless as Cora approached her again. Even after a series of setbacks, she remained a fighter with strong nerves, and so she just watched this black-haired woman.
When Cora said she wanted to see if she could change Nerissa's character, she openly grinned. And even when this annoying woman reached out to stroke Nerissa's hip, she didn't react to this. She had a reason for this, she wanted to check something out.
“Good luck with that...” she replied, shaking her head slightly, being sure that Cora was doing absolutely useless work.
Why was she so sure? Because when Cora touched her hip, Nerissa felt absolutely nothing. These touches were alien to her, no pleasure at all. So the Native American woman was glad that Cora didn't try to do anything else, instead walking around Nerissa in the direction of the cafe exit.
Nerissa didn't even turn around. The next time they meet, she'll kick that black-haired woman's ass and never see her again. No more, no less. Therefore, she didn't even see the need to say anything else. Exactly until Cora said goodbye to her.
Rissa…
Hearing this, Nerissa's eyes flew open as if she had been doused with ice water. Was it just a coincidence? Until today, only one person had ever called her that. The woman, who turned Nerissa's life upside down. The woman, who brought confusion to her soul that she had never experienced before. So why did Cora called her that way? Because of this, Nerissa froze for a few seconds, and then abruptly turned around.
“You...”
But it was too late because by that time Cora had already left the cafe. It was only now that Nerissa noticed how fast her breathing had become. Somewhere in the pit of her stomach a strange sensation appeared like a burning fire. A blush appeared on the cheeks of the Native American woman.
To take her mind off that woman, she decided to focus on her career. But after what had just happened, a gentle, passionate voice continuously sounded in her head, repeating the affectionate form of her name.
“I need... a restroom...” she muttered to herself, barely moving her lips.
Ignoring the people around her, she left the cafe. The feeling in her lower abdomen was getting worse, so she hurried to the restroom. She'll think about the match and everything else later. Right now, she needed to release the tension as soon as possible in the only sure way. When her thoughts return to this woman, she simply has no other options.
