Theodora’s grip didn’t falter. If anything, she tightened, her arms flexing harder, chest expanding against Erika’s sweat-slick frame. Every breath she forced through her lungs came out hot against Erika’s collarbone, their skin sliding against one another as the Alaskan powerhouse bore down with relentless force.
Erika’s head sagged against her shoulder now, mouth open, her body limp in the crushing embrace. Theodora pressed her forehead deeper into Erika’s chest, shielding herself while cinching the hold even tighter, her thighs braced, her boots grinding into the mat as she poured everything into this final squeeze.
The referee knelt close, eyes flicking between Erika’s face and arms. Carefully, they lifted one of Erika’s arms and let it drop. Thud. The crowd roared. She lifted it again. Thud. A louder roar, the anticipation spiking.
Theodora’s lips curled into a faint, sweat-slick smile as she ground Erika tighter into her chest...
The referee raised Erika’s arm a third time. The arena seemed to hold its breath—whether the limb would fall lifeless a final time, or jerk back to life, was now for Erika to decide.

Re: "The Strongest Embrace Charity Event: Theodora’s Bearhug Match Invitation!"
The crowd was howling with excitement now as the match seemed to come to a climax. The two Amazonian beauties were compressed tightly together, sweat intermingling between pale and ebony skin as Theodora held Erika off the mat, her face practically buried in the other woman's chest. Erika's own head lolled uselessly forward, her face hidden by the tangled blonde locks that fell forward against Theodora's shoulders. This seemed to be it: the Canadian powerhouse seemed to have had the life squeezed out of her.
The audience watched with baited breath as the ref raised Erika's hand a third time.
The audience erupted into cheering as Erika's arm fell a third, and final time.
The bell rang. The referee immediately urged Theodora to release Erika as, around them, the audience burst into thunderous applause and cheers. After what had been an intense, grueling battle, Theodora had won the battle of the bearhugs.

Re: "The Strongest Embrace Charity Event: Theodora’s Bearhug Match Invitation!"
Theodora held the bearhug a heartbeat longer than the referee’s signal before letting Erika’s body ease down. The crowd’s roar hit like a wave, chants of
“Mus-cle Bear! Mus-cle Bear!”
rolling through the arena.
The referee caught Theodora’s wrist and lifted it high; she threw her other arm up too, flexing hard, her sweat-sheened biceps standing out under the lights. Cameras flashed from every angle—proof that the Alaskan powerhouse had conquered Erika Lavoy.
Below her, Erika lay sprawled. Theodora knelt, resting a hand on her opponent’s shoulder for a second—a silent nod of respect—before hooking an arm around her waist and hoisting her clean over her shoulder in a powerful, fluid motion. The audience’s cheers grew even louder at the effortless display of strength.
Theodora stood in the center of the ring, Erika draped across her shoulders, the crowd still roaring from the finish. Catching her breath, she lifted a mic, her voice steady but soft.
“Erika LaVoy,”
she said, glancing up at the cameras,
“you stepped into this bearhug match on short notice—and you gave me a good match and you made me dig deep… and for that, you made me a better woman.”
The crowd erupted in cheers again as Theodora raised her free arm high, flexing once for the fans before carrying Erika backstage.
With Erika secure across her back, Theodora made a slow turn for all four sides of the ring, flexing one arm as the referee raised her hand again. She smiled faintly through the exhaustion, acknowledging the fans who had stayed on their feet from bell to bell. Then, stepping carefully through the ropes, she headed up the ramp—every step firm and deliberate, the battered Alaskan Bear carrying her fallen opponent with the same power she had shown throughout the match.
Backstage, she pushed past the curtain to the quieter hallway. The adrenaline was ebbing now, her muscles heavy and warm. Spotting an empty training bench near the medics’ station, Theodora crouched and eased Erika down onto it as gently as she could.
“Rest up,”
she murmured, brushing a stray lock of blonde hair from Erika’s face before straightening to her full height. Theodora rolled her shoulders, still breathing deep, the victory and the respect for her opponent settling in together as the noise from the arena echoed faintly behind her.

Finally, Erika's eyes fluttered open.
DIm half-light flooded her groggy vision. She groaned, shaking her head left and right. Immediately, she was conscious of a few things. The first was that she was lying on the flat, familiar hardness of a medic bench. The second was that she was no longer in the ring, she was...backstage somewhere? In the infirmary? The third was that her midsection felt like it was on fire, her ribs protesting with each shallow breath she took. And the fourth, and most important, was that Theodora was standing over her, her dark skin glossy with sweat, a smile on her face.
"D'di win?" she slurred with a weak smile, her body slow to react as sensation began to come back to her. She knew it was highly unlikely that she won, of course, but she figured she might as well ask...

Theodora’s smile softened as Erika stirred, blinking awake beneath the low infirmary light. The Alaskan powerhouse folded her arms, her chest still rising and falling from the match, but there was a warmth behind her eyes that replaced the ferocity from earlier.
When Erika’s slurred question reached her ears, Theodora chuckled quietly and leaned closer.
“No,”
she said gently,
“you didn’t win tonight.”
Then, lowering her voice, she added with a faint grin,
“But you earned something better.”
Before Erika could ask what she meant, Theodora bent down and pressed a soft, lingering kiss to her lips — a gesture of respect and gratitude more than triumph. Pulling back, she gave Erika a light pat on the head, her calloused palm tender for once.
“Rest easy, warrior,”
she whispered.
“You did me proud.”
With that, Theodora turned and stepped away, her heavy boots echoing softly down the hall as she left Erika to recover, the faintest smile still touching her face.
