"You're going to do great out there." Empress Melony insisted, trying to encourage her trainee backstage. That trainee being Lucy L. Light: The Smother Moon. The moon and night-themed cutie had never had a singles match before. Any time she fought in LAW Arena prior, it was always alongside her twin sister Lucia. This match was about to be her singles debut!
"I...I dunno..." Lucy muttered in her signature, soft-spoken tone. "What if I'm not strong enough yet? Not fast enough yet, or not skilled enough yet...? What if I-"
Melony interrupted her pupil, by gently grabbing both of her pale hands between her own and raising them up in front of them. "You are MORE than good enough for this. Are you suggesting that all the training I've been granting you has been inadequate?"
"Oh no no no, your majesty! I'm just..." Lucy said in a fluttered, blushing state, before Melony kissed her on the cheek. "Mwah... I'm just teasing sweetheart. But listen. You ARE ready. Now go out there and do your best. I'm SO proud of you."~ Lucy's Entrance Theme
Lucy managed a small smile and nodded, before exiting the backstage area to make her entrance in LAW arena. As her music played, Lucy nervously walked her way down to the ring, sheepishly waving at the crowd as she did so. She then climbed inside the ring and awaited her opponent. Not only was this Lucy's first singles match, it was also her first time fighting in the intergender ring. Lucy didn't have to wait long, as her opponents music began to play, and "The Runt" Rai Kamiya came walking out a few moments later.
This match felt...different. While Rai had been in the league for a few months now, most of his matches had been hentai ones, with him usually forced into wearing a thin speedo and showing off his body to the entire crowd in his repeated defeats. But this match was a bit different. This was his first ever standard wrestling match. As a result, he came down to the ring in a tank top, jeans, pads, and boots, looking like a true wrestler instead of a sexy beach boy for the first time in his career. He had to admit, looking at himself on the titantron...he looked pretty good!
He entered the ring, stretching lightly as he looked over at his opponent, a woman named Lucy, from the match sheet he had seen taped up backstage. She was quite cute, with a unique outfit, and, as Rai could see when she turned, an exceptional booty!
He came out of his corner before the bell rang, friendly grin on his face, offering his hand out to the woman. "Hi there! I'm Rai. Nice to be fighting a fellow blue hair!" He said, opening with an ice breaker to try and ease any tensions the girl might be feeling. He didn't want to be rude after all, especially since, regardless of this, he planned on getting his first victory today!
Lucy nervously waited in the ring, while her opponent made his own entrance to his own entrance theme. And soon enough, both wrestlers were in the ring, sizing each other up. Lucy took note that Rai actually wasn't much bigger than her at all. He was noticeably taller, but Lucy was of course more bottom-heavy. And two of them actually weighed the same overall! Lucy breathed a small sigh of relief. This whole time, she had been afraid that she'd be facing some gigantic, hulking male. But not only was Rai a fellow Young Lion(ess), he was also among the lighter side of the male division. Not that it was any reason to underestimate him of course.
When Rai eyed her big butt, Lucy blushed and instinctively tried to yank her skirt down to cover it, even though it was far too short to do so. But when the young man approached her in a friendly way and offered a handshake, the Smother Moon was able to ease up a tad. "H-Hi. My name is Lucy." Lucy managed, accepting the handshake. "L-Let's...Let's have a good match." After squaring up with her male foe, the bell would ring. Lucy would wait for Rai to attack first, clearly nervous about the idea of making the first move.
Rai nodded. "Right, lets have some fun!" The young blue haired lion said, excited, if also nervous, about the match, Lucy was cute, after all, and had some nice assets to her. Once the bell rang, Rai would come out of his corner, circling around the blue haired woman, feeling awkward about wrestling in pants and a shirt for once. Normally he only wore a speedo to the ring, but this match wasn't a hentai one, so he went for the normal attire.
"Alright, lets go!"
He said, finally stepping in towards her, arms outstretched in a grappling position, looking to lock up with her and start pushing against her!
After the bell rang, Lucy would circle around the ring with Rai. She took a few deep breaths, trying to calm her anxious mind down and sharpen her focus. Her mentor Melony believed in her. She could do this. But she wouldn't have too much time to mentally encourage herself, as Rai soon announced he was ready to go! Lucy was thankful for the heads up. So when Rai motioned to grapple with her in a hand-to-hand push-off, Lucy would accept! She'd lock hands with the male wrestler, pushing against him with all the force she could muster! At this stage of her career and training, Lucy's upper body strength was much better than it was when she first started out. But it was still pretty average for her size overall. That being said, Melony had taught her to really lean into push-offs like this. So that's exactly what she would do, hoping this would give her the edge, as she pitched her power against Rai's own!
