Re: Steel and Silver - Keiko Yamamura vs Jukiya Oshima (D) - UWFI Rules Match
Jukiya lay sprawled for a moment, her arm bent protectively against her chest like a wounded wing. The tendons screamed every time her fingers so much as twitched. Pain curled up her tricep and settled in her shoulder like molten lead. But the slam had worked, and she was free.
The canvas still trembled from the impact, and beside her, she could hear the strained hiss of Keiko’s breath and the soft thud of her retreating limbs as she rolled away. A weak kick clipped the side of Jukiya’s thigh as her opponent scrambled for space, but it lacked the speed or force to do any real damage. A last-ditch flail from someone winded and hurting. Good.
Jukiya forced herself upright, the motion slow but determined. She shook out her arm just once and winced. The damage was real. The torque on the elbow, the ligaments stretched thin, the ache that had settled deep in the joint. Keiko had come close to earning more than a point with that hold.
“You almost had it, Yamamura-san,” Jukiya muttered, her voice low and icy. “But almost will not be good enough tonight.”
She moved before the pain could take hold again, or before doubt could creep in. A surge of momentum drove her across the mat toward Keiko’s kneeling form. No rest. No recovery. No reprieve. Jukiya bore down and then snapped her good leg forward, aiming a punishing shoot-style soccer kick directly into Keiko’s exposed ribs, just under the arm where the muscles were soft and the lungs ripe for bruising. A kick with this much power was bound to send her lighter foe to the ground reeling, and if she was lucky, force another point loss in the process.

Re: Steel and Silver - Keiko Yamamura vs Jukiya Oshima (D) - UWFI Rules Match
Keiko was in a world of pain at the moment as despite the success of her arm bar submission it had left her in a position for Jukiya to haul her into the air and then slam her down hard for a make shift power bomb that simultaneously drove the air out of her lungs, as well as sent a surge of lingering pain up her back. 'Damn it.' Keiko thought to herself with a wince on her face as she got on one hand and her knees, using her other hand to hold her back while trying to get some air back in.
Looking up at Jukiya as she heard the woman speak while tending to her arm Keiko would try and grin despite the grimace of pain on her face. "Maybe... But now I have a target." Keiko said as she tried to push herself up, the pain in her back spiking again as she did so though, making her wince and falter before she could get all the way to a vertical base.
As a result it left Keiko in a vulnerable state to be taken advantage of as Jukiya suddenly surged forward, and before Keiko could so much as brace herself she was victim to a soccer style punt kick right to the ribs! "GUAH!" Keiko cried out in pain as she took the impact and was thrown backwards as a result, rolling on the mat and coughing in pain, holding her ribs in agony while the timer started before quickly leading to a loss in a point for her!

Re: Steel and Silver - Keiko Yamamura vs Jukiya Oshima (D) - UWFI Rules Match
The young Oshima's heel had driven directly into Keiko’s ribs, and the effect was instant. Jukiya didn’t stop to admire the impact, but the sound of Keiko’s cry confirmed what she already knew. Her opponent crumpled under the force, sprawling back across the canvas, arms instinctively wrapping around her midsection. The air fled her lungs in a single hoarse cry, and her body convulsed with the shock of pain.
Jukiya stood poised above her, chest rising and falling in shallow, sharp breaths, her hurt arm cradled slightly at her side. The rest of her body remained tight and coiled, he fist hovering just inches from her downed opponent's face, prepared to strike again if needed. But she restrained herself from delivering a finishing blow as the referee barked the official announcement: “Yamamura-san, one point deducted due to knockdown!”, before proceeding with the count.
“One!”
Keiko writhed on the canvas, coughing and curling inward.
“Two! Three!”
Jukiya’s jaw clenched, her sweat-drenched bangs casting shadows over her brow. Her feet glided across the mat in short half-steps as she circled her fallen opponent, her gaze following her opponent’s every twitch and writhe with lethal intent.
“Four! Five!”
The crowd buzzed, unsure if this would be it, if Keiko would be able to beat the count after such a brutal blow. With Keiko downed and reeling on the mat, Jukiya had managed to swing the match in her favor with nine points left for her and now only eight for her opponent. But if Keiko didn't get back up to her feet fast, Jukiya could very well win the match right here and now!
“Six! Seven...!”

Re: Steel and Silver - Keiko Yamamura vs Jukiya Oshima (D) - UWFI Rules Match
'Damn... that really hurt a lot.' Keiko thought to herself, holding her ribs in pain and wincing a bit as she tried to desperately focus on regaining her oxygen. A deceptively difficult task despite how natural it should have been. But doing such a feat was much harder when you were dealing with what felt like a bowling ball sized intention into your rib cage. Unfortunately however Keiko really didn't have the luxury of waiting as long as she'd like to rest and get air back in her lungs, there was a count down going that she was on the wrong side of.
"Eight!"
At this point Keiko would press both palms down on the mat and push herself up, getting her feet under her before popping back up to her feet, faster than the ref could get out the next count, albeit she was still holding her ribs and wobbled a bit as she got her balance... But she was up. "Sorry to disappoint Oshima San... but I won't lose so easily." Keiko said while taking in a few shallow breathes, trying to return the flow of air in her system to normal ass she began to pace around her opponent, slowly raising her fists up in preparation for the two to clash again.

Re: Steel and Silver - Keiko Yamamura vs Jukiya Oshima (D) - UWFI Rules Match
Jukiya’s eyes tracked Keiko’s every motion, sharp and unblinking. She saw everything, the way the woman’s ribs rose unevenly, the way her arm instinctively tucked in to shield that side, the tremor in her stance that betrayed the pain she tried to mask. Keiko was upright again, barely, but on her feet enough to keep the match alive.
A slow breath left Jukiya’s nose, misting faintly in the arena’s cold air. Her posture lowered, knees bending just enough for her frame to coil like a spring. Sweat clung to the curve of her jaw, tracing down the side of her neck.
“Very well… then we’ll do this the hard way.” The words rolled out in a low, cutting murmur, carrying both acknowledgment and threat.
Then, without warning, she stepped in, closing the space in a flash. Her lead hand darted forward, gauging the distance between herself and her opponent. And as that instinct came, Jukiya’s body twisted sharply, her hips driving through as she aimed a brutal low roundhouse toward Keiko’s tenderized ribs, a strike meant to capitalize on the devastating blow Jukiya had landed just moments ago.

Re: Steel and Silver - Keiko Yamamura vs Jukiya Oshima (D) - UWFI Rules Match
Managing to get back up to her feet and lift her fists up in preparation for the bout to resume once again. Keiko's ribs were honestly hurting quite a bit from Jukiya's kicks, her ribs especially where making it difficult to breathe but she couldn't give up. Not this easily.
Unfortunately though time to recover was limited and there would be a neon sign pointing to them for her opponent to target. But... that could play to Keiko's advantage as well if she could react in time.
Lifting her fists in preparation Keiko would near her opponent and watch as Jukiya neared her. Watching carefully as the woman darted in, bracing herself as Jukiya then swung her leg outwards in a low round house to her ribs!
Only this time Keiko would react in time, lowering her hands to catch the offending leg, barely, but enough as she leveled a cold glare at Jukiya. "My turn." Keiko said as she dived to the side, twisting and pulling Jukiya's leg with her to drive her foe's knee into the mat with a dragon screw!
If successful then Keiko wouldn't release her opponent's leg, getting up slightly and pulling her legs up to wrap them around Jukiya's own, looking to twisting and squeeze Jukiya's leg for a tight knee bar submission!

Re: Steel and Silver - Keiko Yamamura vs Jukiya Oshima (D) - UWFI Rules Match
The kick never found its mark. Instead of the satisfying crack of shin against ribs, Jukiya felt her leg seized mid-swing, Keiko’s arms locking around it with a suddenness that made her stomach lurch. Her eyes widened just as her opponent’s body twisted sharply to the side, dragging her off balance and sending her crashing to the mat. The shock of her own momentum met the cruel snap of Keiko’s dragon screw, and her knee was driven hard into the canvas, a bolt of pain shooting up through her thigh and rattling in her hip.
But Keiko was relentless. Before Jukiya could even brace herself, her foe coiled around her leg, thighs cinching down like steel bands. The knee was stretched, pulled, and twisted into a position it had no business being in, and the sudden pressure left Jukiya’s entire body trembling. "Wha-AAAARGH!" The pain was immediate, sharp, and overwhelming. Her lips curled back as a ragged groan slipped free, not controlled or disciplined but raw and involuntary, torn straight out of her lungs.
Instinct made her hands shoot toward the ropes, and her fingertips brushed against them, a hair’s breadth from escape. The hope shattered as quickly as it had come, though, as the reminder pierced through the haze of pain: there were no rope breaks. No reprieve. No way out but her own struggle. Her palm fell back against the canvas, slapping once in frustration, sweat running down her temple as her chest rose and fell with ragged breaths.
"Oshima-san! Do you give up?" the referee barked, crouched low beside her.
Jukiya’s answer tore out between gritted teeth, her voice breaking as she pounded her fist into the mat, not in surrender, but in sheer defiance. "N-N-NO!" she wailed.
The stakes had never felt heavier. Her leg screamed beneath Keiko’s hold, every second stretching closer to disaster. If she couldn’t find a way out now, the match would end here, whether by her knee shattering under the strain or the unforgivable act of surrender. Her mind scrambled through every counter she knew, every shred of training drilled into her, while her body fought with all it had just to hold on a little longer...

Re: Steel and Silver - Keiko Yamamura vs Jukiya Oshima (D) - UWFI Rules Match
Keiko gambled a bit with that grab and submission counter, if she was even a little too late or miscalculated where her hands were even a bit then Jukiya would almost surely have connected with a devastating kick to the head.
Thankfully however the grab was successful and as Keiko fell down to the mat she would manage to snap her legs around the woman's leg, twisting it to the side while scissoring the limb between her own to try and damage her foe's leg as much as possible, maybe even force a submission from her.
However rather predictably the woman was being stubborn as hell and refused to do so, even after realizing that rope breaks wouldn't save her like in a normal match. Gritting her teeth and sitting up a bit Keiko would try and lock her eyes with Jukiya's own.
"Oshima San! Give up! Don't make me hurt you!" Keiko said practically imploring the woman, her hold accidentally loosening slightly as she made the effort to sit up, her kindness taking hold for the moment as she tried to make sure she wouldn't hurt the woman.

Re: Steel and Silver - Keiko Yamamura vs Jukiya Oshima (D) - UWFI Rules Match
Jukiya’s teeth dug into her lip hard enough to taste iron, the dragon screw and subsequent lock already making her knee burn like fire. Every twist from Keiko’s thighs made her nerves scream louder, white-hot bolts tearing through her leg. She could feel the muscle shuddering under the strain, her breaths ragged and shallow. Then, through the haze, she felt the pressure fading. Keiko’s thighs, which just moments ago were cinched like vices, loosened ever so slightly as her opponent leaned up, their eyes meeting.
The momentary slack was all she needed. With a guttural cry, she twisted her trapped leg, dragging her free knee upward with desperate force, jamming it between their bodies to pry open the hold. Her joint screamed as she ripped herself from the scissor, her leg dragging free with a wet rasp of skin against canvas. She immediately clutched her knee with one hand, the limb trembling as though it might give out then and there. The referee’s hand signal came into her periphery, and the announcement rang through the arena: a point deduction. The submission attempt had cost her, and they were now standing at 8 points each. The referee immediately started the ten count as Jukiya lay clutching her knee. With only seconds to spare, she used the ropes to work her way back up to her feet, a noticeable limp now present in her leg.
“Fool. You had me… and you let yourself succumb to weakness.” The words dripped out like an accusation. “Next time, don’t hesitate. For I will not be showing you the same mercy.” Jukiya muttered, now fully back on her feet. She leaned back against the ropes, weary and damaged, but nevertheless ready to fight as the referee signaled for the match to continue!

Re: Steel and Silver - Keiko Yamamura vs Jukiya Oshima (D) - UWFI Rules Match
Keiko's inherent kindness kept her from mercilessly ripping her opponent's leg off at the joint and in a bid to try and plead with Jukiya to see reason and submit she had inadvertently allowed the woman a slim opportunity to escape.
A chance that Jukiya took and ran with, no matter how painful it evidently was given the scream of effort she gave as she moved to escape the hold, managing to successfully pry her leg away as she rolled, Keiko standing back up as well, panting softly, a look of concern still twinging on her face until Jukiya spoke up again.
"But I-" Keiko started to stay before looking at the expression on her opponent's face and realizing anything she said contrary would not reach the woman's ears so instead sh e just sighed while putting her fists up, trying to ignore the way that Jukiya struggled up to her feet and clung to the ropes like a life line.
"Duly noted. Next time I'll let you self amputate in response." Keiko said dryly to the woman before, once being given the signal to begin again she would dart forward. Speed would definitely be on her side now and she intended to make the most of it. Rearing her leg back as she approached Keiko would swing her leg out as if going for a sweeping kick aimed at Jukiya's hurt leg.
Instead however she would pull her leg in close, sliding around into a spin as she threw her elbow out to go for a back elbow strike into Jukiya's stomach instead! Should the blow connect and force her opponent to bend over then Keiko would reach up with both hands, aiming to grab hold of Jukiya by the head and pull forward, trying to send her down to the mat with a snapmare!
