There could be many things Kate could say that irked her about the event she was taking part in, all of them however began and ended at a single person plastered all over the arena, to say Kate would love a chance to smack the so called queen over the head would be an understatement but somone else would be taking that chanceon this night which in all honestly was a sort of relief in itself. Aside from a few people on the open challenge she made, the last few events she has been stuck dealing with people she hated, this time was a breath of fresh air as she'd be finally facing someone she hadn't fought before and in a match much closer to her preference than the last couple.
She was cautious, however, not to get too enthusiastic. Ryuko Yoshida was not only a force to be reckoned with when looking at her long career and accomplishments, but she also had a certain reputation. Kate has certainly learned not to judge people by hearsay, but some level of suspicion tended to be healthy at least to start with, especially when she herself fit so perfectly into the mould of what her opponent disliked.
Regardless of all that, they both had one job: fight and if there ever was one thing Kate knew how to do, it was that, more over, with an opponent of such caliber, they were bound to give the audiance a fight to remamber regardless of how things went and she got the first taste of the comming match when looking at Ryuko's entrance after which she'd check her gloves one more time before entering the arena to the sound of her track!
Rushing onto the stage, Kate would spread her arms wide, taking in the sight of the audience before letting one arm fall at her side and raising the other into a closed fist before lowering it to flex for the audience. As she did so, she'd tilt her head, tap her ear and give a gesture for the crowd to get louder before smiling as they did so and making her way down the ramp, clapping hands with the audience.
Once she'd make her way to the ring, she'd climb the apron, squoting on the outside and grabbing the top rope before jumping straight over the top, climbing the corner to rile up the audience a little more as the cage began to be lowered. After that, she'd step into the centre of the ring, offering a handshake to try and gauge where they stood from the start, but she knew one thing for certain, that cage was getting lifted only after one of them was pinned or submitted, escape was simply not an option for either of the two!
