Mature Battles: Faith Waterson vs Misaki Toyoda

Standard Match: Winner to be determined by pinfall, submission or knockout.

Faith took a deep, steadying breath backstage as she sat on a bench, cross legged in mediation. Mentally readying herself for her upcoming match against one Misaki Toyoda. Now while she may have only started her professional wrestling career recently she had always kept up with it due to her friendship with one Aella Midori. Naturally she was fully aware of who Misaki Toyoda was and the woman's importance to the world of professional women's wrestling. Nicknamed the Ace of Beserk and for good reason, the woman practically embodied the definition of Ace.

Physically impeccable, well rounded across the board in her skill set and a mind set that any champion could be enviable of. Naturally Faith was a little apprehensive being pitted against such a woman but she couldn't allow herself to be distracted by that. Yes she was older than most women with her level of experience, but she was still an Olympian, and she had taken to wrestling like a fish to water, she could do this, she knew she could, and she wasn't going to falter.

Snapping her eyes open Faith would uncross her legs and hop off the bench. It was time, and she was going to show just what she could do. Heading out of the locker room and down the halls Faith would take calming breaths the whole way until she approached the entrance curtain, waiting for her que as her new entrance music began to play.

Coming out from the curtain to cheers Faith would smile brightly out at the crowd, raising her arms above her head and posing a bit for the fans who were definitely enjoying it. Granted her tight singlet showing off every curve of hers definitely probably helped. Strutting forward after posing for a moment Faith would soon break forward onto her hands, starting to flip and cart wheel her way towards the ring, building momentum as she did so to flip right onto the ring apron!

Holding onto the ropes and looking out among the crowd after doing so and drinking in the cheers of adoration for that impressive little gymnastic display Faith would then lean back and over the ropes and into the ring. Once on her feet she would approach her corner and lean against it, her face slowly sobering up as she focused on the entrance ramp. Knowing that soon her opponent would come down... and that her biggest test since coming to LAW would begin.

Misaki Toyoda was slated to have a match tonight against a woman named Faith Waterson. From what she had heard, she was a pretty talented wrestler despite being much older and also a relative beginner. Other than that, she didn't know much about her, though Misaki knew that she would learn more about her once they met in the ring.

Putting on her updated wrestling outfit, which was purple in color instead of pink, Misaki would then make her entrance, her music playing from the loudspeakers and the crowd cheering as she made her way to the ramp. Misaki waved her hands to the audience as she jogged down to the ring where she would be facing her opponent tonight.

Upon reaching the ring, Misaki posed for the crowd a little, winking at a nearby camera before she slipped under the ropes and entered the ring. She waved her hands some more, smiling radiantly for them before she put her focus on Faith. She certainly looked mature and definitely good looking for someone her age. She smiled at her before she approached her.

"Hello there," Misaki said, holding out her hand, offering Faith a handshake as a sign of good sportsmanship. "Let's have a good match, shall we?"

Faith set her shoulders back in anticipation for her opponent as the Ace of Beserk would soon come from the entrance curtain, smiling dashingly out at the crowd as the woman began to make her way down. Even more than before. Misaki oozed confidence, poise and strength itself. Without doubt this would be her biggest challenge and Faith was looking to meet it.

Watching as Misaki approached and greeted her amicably while also offering a handshake Faith would smile brilliantly right back, glad to see that she was willing to be a good sport right off the bat.

"Hello! It's an honor to meet you Misaki, and trust me, I look forward to making this as great a match as possible." Faith said while giving the woman's hand a firm shake before letting go and stepping backwards, raising her hand up and bending her knees slightly in preparation for whenever the bell would ring.

It was good that she got to face a friendly one instead of the underhanded and cutthroat one, though Misaki knew that she wasn't going to hold back just because her opponent for tonight was friendly. Shaking hands with Faith, Misaki nodded and smiled. "Please give your all. Let's give everyone something to remember." She winked at the older woman before she stepped back, readying herself for the match.

Misaki did some light stretches as she waited for the match to begin, showing off her body for all to see. She was aware of how skimpy her wrestling outfit was, and she wasn't some shy maiden who was afraid of showing off her skin, but this was something that she was proud of. All eyes were on her tonight, and she would do her best to not disappoint them.

Soon, it was time for the match to begin. Taking her position, Misaki assumed a stance, hands held up and legs parted slightly as she looked at Faith. Once the bell was rung, she would shimmy to the side slightly, taking a moment to study her opponent before she surged forth, looking to start grappling with her in a collar-and-elbow tie-up.

Faith would nod readily at Misaki with a smile on her face. "Absolutely! Thats what I intended to do from the start!" Faith said with a nod putting her fists up in preparation. It was funny, even though Faith was older she was a comparative rookie to Misaki, and in a way she felt as if she needed to impress the younger beauty given her reputation and that's exactly what Faith would do.

As soon as the bell rang Faith would step forward and meet Misaki head on, locking up with her in a collar elbow tie up, pushing and jockeying against her for a moment before the older woman would suddenly drop one of Misaki's hands, turning sharply and grabbing Misaki's other with both hands, dropping down and twisting as she did so, hoping to pull Misaki over her with a arm drag! If successful at doing so then Faith would sit up, holding Misaki's arm to one side before then trying to wrap her arm around the woman's head, squeezing her tightly to try for a headlock!

Now that the match had started, Misaki locked up with Faith in the collar-and-elbow tie-up, but then, Faith freed one of her hands before she grabbed Misaki's hand with both of them. After that, she dropped down and dragged Misaki with her, bringing her down with an arm drag. Of course, Misaki wasn't going to be caught off-guard by this as she braced herself for the impact before she instinctively brought her free arm up, blocking Faith's attempt to put her into a headlock.

After that, she would straighten herself up before she attempted to yank herself away from her opponent, freeing herself. From there, Misaki would get back on her feet, huffing slightly as she readied herself for what Faith might do next.

Faith was at least successful in breaking the lock up and then pulling Misaki down to the mat with a arm drag. Unfortunately however what she wasn't successful in was locking the woman's head in a headlock. Instead Misaki used her free hand before they even fell all the way to free herself and pull away at the last second!

'Damn it.' Faith thought to herself, pushing herself up slightly before tucking in and rolling forward across the mat to try and close the distance and pop up to her feet right in front of a hopefully just risen Misaki, swinging her arm up in the same instant to try and strike at the woman with a shotei uppercut to the jaw!

Straightening herself up, Misaki saw Faith trying to throw a shotei uppercut to her jaw, and she reacted accordingly, catching the other woman's arm before it could hit its mark. From there, she would try to hold onto Faith's hand before she attempted to give it a twist, looking to put her opponent into a wrist lock. She would hold onto Faith's wrist with both hands as she put her in the wrist lock, and she planned to transition it by twisting her arm, locking her into a hammerlock, bringing the other woman's arm to her back.

Swinging her arm up at Misaki with a shotei uppercut Faith intended to try and start this match off hot! Only for the attempted blow to be caught by the woman! 'No!' Faith thought to herself before the ace of berserk then twisted her wrist and then further twisted Faith's arm behind her back! "Gah!" Faith cried out in pain, her face twisting up in response before she gritted her teeth, refusing to be done in by this hold!

"Haghhhh!" Faith cried out as she ducked down, untwisting her wrist and arm from her opponent's hold, showing off her impressive flexibility before dropping down and twisting her body while grabbing and pulling on Misaki's wrist with her other hand, trying to pull the brunette over her with a arm drag!
