LAW of the Jungle: Huntress VS. Tiger

Bengal had her choke locked in, but she'd overestimated the strength of the vine. As she sank beneath the surface once more, pressed firmly against her opponent's muscular back, Sylva was able to get her fingers under the thin cord, and tear it to shreds. The two fighters snapped apart, and the Tiger snarled with frustration - though since she was underwater, all that came out was a stream of bubbles.

Luckily for her, the vines weren't the only weapons available in the pool. The announcer had told them to "use the jungle to survive" and Bengal was determined to use every part of it, even if that meant getting her hands dirty. She sank her fingers deep into the muck on the bottom of the pool, pulling up a clump of mud and half-decayed leaves. This time, instead of launching into another spear, she took a page out of Sylva's book, rising up slowly and quietly. She was planning to surface behind the Huntress, then smear the thick mud across her opponent's face, blinding her. If that worked, she would seize Sylva with a Full Nelson hold, racking the Huntress' arms behind her back while she dug her claws into the other woman's neck!

Sylva had managed to escape from the strangle hold that Bengal had placed her in. After that, Sylva took a chance to try and get out of the pool. As she did, she climbed out of it. She took an opportunity to try and catch her breath and refocus. However, that gave Bengal an opportunity to try out her next place.

As Sylva turned around, she saw nothing but brown and green as her face was hit with mud that Bengal dug up.

"Gah!" Sylva gasped out as she felt the mud go into her eyes temporarily blinding her. This made her very vulnerable to attack. As the crowd had a mix of cheers and boos (most likely from Bengal flinging mud in Sylva's face), Sylva could do little to react as Bengal came in seized her in the Full Nelson hold.

Sylva felt her arms pinned behind her back as Bengal got a secured hold on her.

Sylva was blinded by the mud, her attractive face obscured beneath a mask of filth and pond scum. Bengal took full advantage of her opponent's temporary handicap, locking in her submission while the Huntress gasped and thrashed against her. The Tiger had chosen the perfect hold for the current situation; not only did the Full Nelson place a tremendous strain on Sylva's arms and shoulders, it also prevented her from wiping off the glop covering her face.

That said, holding on to her larger foe took every bit of strength that Bengal had. Her own arms were starting to burn from the effort of restraining Sylva. Even though it killed her to admit it, she wasn't sure how much longer she could maintain the hold. She decided to do as much damage as she could, while she still had the Huntress trapped. She started with a few knee strikes between the other woman's legs, trying to soften her up that way. But the water made it difficult to generate any real force, so she went with a different strategy, whipping Sylva's upper body back and forth to disorient her. Then she plowed forward, dashing her opponent's chest against the rocks lining the pool.

"You want to know the difference between you and me, Huntress?" Bengal panted into her opponent's ear. She ground her hips into Sylva's rear as she spoke, cranking the Full Nelson to the absolute limit. "When I see an opportunity to go for the throat...I don't hesitate!" With that, she sank her needlelike teeth into the back of the brunette's neck, right where her trapezius muscle joined her sculpted shoulder! It wasn't exactly the "throat" - the Tiger couldn't reach that from her current position - but a bite in this sensitive area would still cause the Huntress some serious pain!

Sylva was having a bit of a difficult time with the situation. Thanks to Bengal holding her in the full nelson, Sylva would continue to remain blind with all the dirt covering her face. She would attempt to struggle, proving that she could not be easily held down. That said, Sylva would then feel multiple strikes into her leg, making her close to bending one knee.

Now that didn't seem much like a problem. That was until Sylva felt something, or should it be accurate to say several things, sharp sink into the back on her neck. Sylva hissed in pain as she thrashed and squirmed, attempting to get Bengal off her. She tried to lift herself up, and by extension lift Bengal in the process, as she tried to walk backwards and ram her opponent into a nearby wall; assuming that one was indeed there because Sylva still could not see where she was going.

The Huntress thrust backward, trying to force Bengal into a collision with the walls of the pool. But in her blinded, confused state, Sylva had lost track of which direction she was facing. Instead of pushing Bengal toward the edge of the pool, she moved in the opposite direction, headed for the deeper water in the middle. That gave Bengal a few more precious seconds to tear at the back of her foe's neck. The Tiger lashed her head back and forth, gnawing at Sylva's neck with animal ferocity. She hung on as long as she could, until the combination of the rising water and the Huntress' struggles made it impossible to maintain her grip.

Bengal raised her head, blood smeared across her lips and chin like a storybook beast. She took a deep breath, then ducked underwater - but she wasn't just trying to wash off her face. A second later, she surged back upward, lifting Sylva onto her shoulders, like a couple of kids playing chicken fight. The Tiger's intentions were much less innocent, however. She was planning to throw her opponent forward, dropping the Huntress onto the rocks with an Electric Chair Facebuster!

Sylva ventured back into the water, unknowingly, and now felt a lot more pain from Bengal just cutting and biting at her. Surely that was illegal? Well, that would be up for debate, as Sylva felt Bengal biting into her neck. Before she could even say or do anything, she felt herself being forced forward. The next thing that she knew, she collided with some rocks as a result of the facebuster.

Good thing that those rocks weren't really real, or there would be some issues.

The biting was illegal, which is why Bengal had made sure to release her jaws from Sylva's neck just before the referee arrived on the scene. The official could tell that the Tiger had been up to no good, judging by the bruises she'd left behind on the Huntress' tanned skin. But they didn't have enough evidence to accuse the cheater. All they could do was watch with horror as the taller woman was lifted precariously over the rocks, before tilting forward, then plummeting down...

...Only for the "rocks" to break apart beneath her, the flimsy plastic cracking with a noise like a gunshot. It had still been a hard slam, but nowhere near the catastrophic impact Bengal had expected. The Tiger let out a frustrated sigh. How could she have been expected to know the waterfall set wasn't made from actual rock? She was a wrestler, not a damn geologist.

One thing she did know for certain: she was done swimming around in this dirty pool. Her skin was beginning to prune, the ref was watching her like a hawk, and she'd exhausted her options for attack in this area anyway. The jungle no doubt had other surprises to offer her, though. All Bengal had to do was find them. She grabbed a handful of her opponent's long hair, preparing to drag Sylva behind her, back into the brush. The Tiger was taking it for granted that her Facebuster had stunned the other woman. But was that actually true, or had she misjudged the Huntress' resilience?

Sylva did feel the pain from being slammed into the fake rocks. It did leave her dazed, as she felt something pull her by the hair. As she was regaining her senses, she would feel the sharp pain in her neck that came from the nails and teeth of Bengal. That was what set her off. As Bengal would come to realize, not only did she seriously misjudge Sylva's resilience, she downright pissed off Sylva; and that was a rare feat to accomplish considering that Sylva was involved in dirty fights before she joined LAW.

Thanks to the whole scuffle, Sylva was able to see her. She grabbed on Bengal's leg and yanked it, tripping up the Tiger and releasing her. From there, Sylva (if Bengal paid attention) had a very angry look in her eyes as she came in and gut punched the Tiger hard; enough to almost knocked the wind out of her and potentially stun her.

As Bengal started up the bank of the pool, she felt something catch at her leg, halting her progress. At first, she assumed it was a vine or root tangled around her foot. She turned back to free herself, only to see Sylva latched onto her ankle, glaring up at her. The mud covering the Huntress' face had finally been cleaned off, revealing the furious grimace beneath. She'd recovered from her fall much faster than the Tiger had anticipated.

"Damn ankle biter...get the hell off me!" Bengal shrieked. The Indian woman shook her leg with desperate energy, like a wild beast caught in a snare. But Sylva clung on tenaciously, dragging her smaller foe down onto the dirty floor. Bengal skidded and tripped, getting her own faceful of mud to match her opponent's previous look. She sputtered and coughed, reaching both hands up to wipe her face - while leaving her midsection completely unguarded.

WHAP! Sylva's fist drove into Bengal's gut, like a jackhammer cracking apart asphalt. The slap of knuckles on skin echoed through the tree-lined arena, sending up a roar from the crowd. Even the fans who couldn't see the fight from their current position (which was most of them, unfortunately) could tell that something big had just happened. This was a potential turning point in the match. Previously, the Huntress had been on the back foot, struggling to ward off Bengal's clever environmental attacks. But now her prey had run out of tricks, and the brunette woman's superior size and strength were coming to bear. Meanwhile, Bengal herself lay curled in a fetal position, massaging her ribs, and bitterly wishing that she'd stayed in the pool.

Sylva managed to land such a powerful gut-wrenching punch to Bengal's midriff that left her opponent in a fetal position, like a kid cradling from a bad injury. For some reason, she was starting to feel a bit dizzy, but she was going to push on through with this offensive. The Huntress stood proud and strong as she went to pick up Bengal. She was going to throw Bengal over her and onto a table that was disguised as a temple tablet.

If that throw worked, then Sylva was going to work on a finishing move to end things off. She was going to go for a finishing move, as she proceeded to pick up Bengal again. This time, it would be the "Final Rites" finishing move of Sylva's, which involved lifting her opponent up, then spinning her around before bringing her down with a powerbomb.
