It was an unexpected bout to be sure, but she liked Kali and the match type ought to be quite fun, so Izumi was excited. Not to mention once it was announced the fans really seemed to get interested in it. Nodding to herself as her entrance music start Izumi would head out.

There it was. The bell had rung signalling the start of this bout and at first it seemed as if the two would be getting off to a measured way. But that thought would be thrown out the window in moments as Kali suddenly took off towards Izumi full speed and leapt up going for a cross body!

Eyes widening in shock Izumi's body would react before her mind could catch up, years of muscle memory and training taking over as he leaned back, twisted her hips with one of her legs coming up and then snapping forward. If all went well then Izumi would connect with a powerful kick directly into Kali's stomach as she neared the blue haired wrestler!

Assuming it connected however Izumi would realize what had happened almost immediately. "Oh my goodness! Kali I'm sorry my kung Fu slipped out without meaning too! Are you still able to go?" Izumi asked desperately, scrambling down to Kali's side, knowing very well she could do real damage with the full extent of her Kung Fu which is why she didn't actively use it in wrestling, or tried not too at least, and hence why she was so concerned for her opponent.

The blow contented. It was a good soild kick to her stomach. It knock her back to the ground. It hunted her. This is what wrestling in L.A.W is like.

She got it memorized like Axel in kingdom hearts ( hehe references). Shebsuspied surpsied to see Izumi to come to her and ask her if she okay. She was surpsied by it

"Ya I'm fine. You shouldn't be worried I'm not fragile. You better move before I take advantage." She said. She said.

If izumi didn't move in time Kali would of gone to move and twsit her body to try and give Izumi a body scissors submission.

Izumi's worry for the woman after accidentally unleashing with an attack she didn't mean too overwrote her normal drive to win as she moved to check on the older woman. Thankfully though she seemed ok and assured that Izumi should get back lest she take advantage. Blinking and nodding with a small smile Izumi would back off just before Kali cold start coiling her legs. "Right. My Apologies for underestimating you... Lets start this bout off properly shall we?" Izumi asked as she held her hands outward, offering a test of strength to Kali to kick the match off properly.

Kali accept the test. Locking hands with Izumi. She wasn't sure how strong she was. She doesn't know if she would even win like this.

She would try to make sudden lunges going forward to help make her back. She wanted to try and back her up to the ropes.


If ahe caught her off gaurd or by surpsie each time she does it maybe it will work. Again she has no idea on how to gage izumi strenght.

Izumi still admittedly felt a bit bad about that initial kick to Kali. That was part of why she had decided to properly open this contest with a test of strength, something truly even and deliberate to get going. As she pushed against Kali though Izumi would be slightly surprised at the strength from her opponent, granted they were probably around equal in terms of strength, but Kali was using intermittent bursts of power, pushing Izumi back before she regained the distance, however the constant nature of it was throwing her balance off and making it hard to keep her footing!

After one more push Kali did she decied to give Izumi a big boot attack to her stomach in order to kick her. If she manage to do that she would then try for an axe lick to Izumi head to knock her down

Kali us unsure if she has the speed to full this off but her tactic seemed to be working. It seems Izumi isn't use to this kind of test of strength mind games.

Well it won't work a second time. She probably realized what she doing so if there was anthor test she can't get away it.

Pushing against Kali in the test of strength Izumi had just fully found her footing and was preparing a massive push to knock her opponent backwards.
