Personality: A cocky, smug, easy to rile up pile of show-off, Kaguya certainly is a milder reflection of the villains and ne'er-do-wells she so enjoys seeing in movies. Although exaggerated for the ring, there are quite a few shades of her natural disposition on display as she puts on airs and eggs on opponents by taunting from a winning position. There are positive qualities to this cinephile, such as a good eye for managing conflicts in a group... Even if rather dispassionately. Being a romantic!... That's quite clingy. Or passion for her interests... That she gets almost aggressive about when shown a lack of understanding.
Has a soft spot for particularly bright-eyed babyface wrestlers, often tuning up her arrogance and releasing moves early, but just to give them one extra chance to make a beautiful comeback. No such luxury is granted to Face-leaning Tweeners, however. "What's with this wave of gray morality, a good villain only gets to shine when faced against some purity, I tell ya!" The way she goes about working the crowd against her depends a bit on her opponent.
If she fights someone decently weaker, she'll outright bully the opponent, focusing on letting them think they found an out of her offense only to abruptly cut that path off, such as letting go of a submission and starting a different one as they near the ropes, or pretend to turn around to gloat, only to strikeright as they try to turn the tides.
Against someone close to her level, she'll find the opportunity to pull a dirty trick or two in the middle of the match, preferably either right as the opponent is gaining momentum, or when she's near victory and doesn't need to anymore, to maximize the negative reaction.
Against stronger opponents, trash talk mode is turned to 11, if she wins, her arrogance comes off as impressive and fitting. If she loses, it's a good show of a damnable villain falling to hubris.
Quite proud of her sensual side as well, Kaguya does not shy away from turning up the spice in or out of the ring, though she tries to keep it from affecting the expected age rating of the viewership when possible, she tries to be professional after all.
History: Daughter of a 3rd generation of Chinese migrants from her father's side, she kept her father's surname, but her name was chosen by her mother. Kaguya was brought up on her paternal grandfather's collection of action movies, and great-grandma's theater experience further strengthened the young girl's love of storytelling. However, instead of emulating the heroes, she found herself drawn to the villainous figures that opposed them. The arrogance, the power, the ability to draw the scene to themselves, THAT stirred her towards her choices to study acting. Now in her last year of university, she decided she'd practice her ability to work a crowd not on the stage, but on the ring, as she was a bit of a fan of wrestling after an underclassman introduced it to her. Between the chance to put her athleticism to the test, nothing quite like a fight to put her improvisation to the test... And meeting some cute, fit gals while at it isn't a bad deal at all. Thanks to a few connections and a whole lot of charisma, it didn't take long for her to manage to enter tryout for LAW, where her talent shone through, getting a contract signed.
At first, it was more of a hobby or practice on the way to the silver screen, but the atmosphere and experience in the ring has her rethinking her priorities, deciding to focus more on the wrestling world. A title would be fun to pursue, but more than that, she wants to get a whole crowd prepare not to cheer for her opponent, but against her one day.
Initially planned to use the nickname "bad dragon", but was quickly made aware of the disaster that would turn out to be.
Overall skill level
Kaguya has a lot of experience with martial arts and acrobatics from childhood, as her mother is a stunt double and helped her train as a bonding activity, so she is quite good at avoiding damage and has a decent grasp of how to handle fights. However, as a dedicated wrestler, she is mostly relying on raw talent to pull off moves more expected of the sport, but she has a good knack for submissions, especially ones that require agility and speed to get in position before the opponent reacts, rather than pure power, which she admits she might be a bit below average in.
