Fifth Match - First Annual Queens of the Beach: Astrid Ostberg vs Kaia Ambrosia

Kaia might have been downed, but Astrid could tell that she wasn't out of things yet as she reached up to try and pull apart the hands that were clutching her chin. Astrid wasn't intent on letting up just yet, though. She wanted to see what Kaia was made of, and there was no use in giving her anything less than her very best.

The blonde woman squeezed tighter at Kaia's chin, trying to fight back against her attempts to push her off, although it was a pitched struggle back and forth. To compensate for the looser hold on the Greek's head, Astrid would dig her heels into the mat beneath her to try and anchor herself, while at the same time squeezing harder with her legs, hoping to put some pressure on Kaia's ribs in the process. "You'll have to try harder than that!" she retorted.

Kaia would focus all her attention on trying to break the chin lock that her opponent had her trapped in.As that was the most dangerous part of the camel clutch she was trapped in as her head was forced to pull backwards in an rather painful way. Still the brunette could feel that it was working when the pressure on her head would lessen as she would try to yank them apart with more effort then before.

While she did that she would feel Astrid add more pressure on her ribs to compensate for the looser hold she had on her head.Hearing that she would have to try harder then that got the Greek wrestler to laugh as she replied back ''tell me something I don't know Astrid.However you will release me sooner then later as I am going to break this hold''

As she continued her efforts to disentangle herself from the hold, Kaia would eventually manage to shove Astrid's hands off her head altogether, causing the Norwegian to drop her. However, Astrid still had a hold on Kaia with her legs, and she had no intention of letting go any time soon, even if her opponent had freed herself from the main part of the camel clutch. Astrid placed her hands on her hips, playing to the crowd by beaming a smile of confidence as she transitioned her hold into a bodyscissor.

"Oh, is that so?" Astrid said in response to Kaia's vow that she would break the hold. She would continue to taunt her, if only to see where it led. Hopefully, she could goad Kaia into putting even more of herself into the fight. "Why don't you go ahead and do it, then?"

Kaia was doing all she could to keep her promise as she wanted to escape so she could turn the tables on Astrid.Still it was not going to be easy as she would succeed in freeing herself from the main part of the camel clutch.However now she had to get the blond off her , and that just had gotten more difficult when the Norwegian turned her failed camel clutch into an bodyscisors.So now the other wrestler was on top , and had her trapped as she tried to roll herself onto her side so the blond would fall off her.As the second step was to grasp both of her opponent's legs to try and pry them apart to escape.

Though Astrid tried to press her luck by keeping the hold locked in as long as she could, her fortune couldn't hold out forever, especially not as Kaia was actively trying to free herself. Soon enough the Greek woman managed to throw her weight to the side, causing Astrid to go flying down with her as she was slammed down onto her shoulder. "Whoah-!" she said with a gasp, in her surprise loosening, though not letting go, of her scissor hold. That wouldn't matter much, however, as Kaia's next move would be to get her hands between Astrid's thighs and pry them apart. Already distracted from losing her balance, Astrid couldn't help but be repelled by Kaia's attempt, and she went rolling onto her back as she released the brunette's waist, finally freeing her.

Kaia would do all she could to escape from her opponent's hold as she felt the life be squeezed out of her with those bodyscissors.Still little by little she would be able to pry those legs apart , and would be able to escape the hold .An added bonus was that she would succeed in also causing Astrid to lose her balance as she would be rolling onto her back.With herself now freed from the hold the Greek wrestler would attempt to get up as she rubs her waist as she whisper ''I told you that you could not hold me like that forever''.

As Kaia picked herself to her feet, Astrid would do the same, seeing that the brunette didn't seem to be doing anything to punish her while she was down - or at least, she wasn't at the moment. Brushing herself off, Astrid turned back around to face Kaia with a smile.

"So you did, and you proved it," Astrid said with a nod. "I'm impressed. I'd hope that you would have the skills to back up your talk."

With that said, Astrid was quick to get herself back down into a stance, lowering her body and raising her hands, before she stepped in towards Kaia again, keeping a close eye on the Greek woman in the hopes she might be able to anticipate what she would do.

Kaia was not expecting to be praised or anything , but what she got surprised her.As he was allowed to get to her feet as she heard Astrid telling her she did.Followed by that the blond was impressed a she had hoped that she had the skill to back up her talk.Now their was the words he had bin expecting as she would keep her distance as she relied back ''you will find that you will end up regretting those words soon enough.Especially once I have you pinned beneath me as the referee counts to three''as she circled around the blond.

Astrid rolled her neck from side to side, working out the kinks before she went back to lock eyes with Kaia. She narrowed her gaze, seeing if she could stare the brunette down as she came in close. The two began to circle, moving swiftly like tigers on the hunt. Every moment they were in motion, never letting their eyes off one another. It was only a matter of time before someone would break the tension between them and act.

"Well, considering this is a submission match, I guess I won't regret it," Astrid said with a wink. She didn't mean anything bad by it, but she couldn't resist the opportunity to tease her foe. A moment later, however, Astrid would back up her words with her punches, as she would throw a kick towards Kaia's stomach with as much force as she could manage.

As they circled around the brunette was looking for an opening.However during this the blond would bring to her attention of the mistake she had made with her statement earlier.As she had told Astrid she was going to pin her down for the one,two,three , and had completely forgotten this was an submission match. The embarrassment she felt over this is caused her to turn red as she replied back ''I know that.I was just testing you , and guess what you pass''in an attempt to cover up her mistake when the other wrestler went on the attack as she would try to avoid being hit.
