Victory Conditions: Match is split into 3 rounds, victory can be achieved by scoring a knockout or submission in any of the rounds or at the end of the match via judges verdict

Finally, Kate was getting a match she could once again feel genuinely excited about. Though she did decide to get into the world of wrestling, MMA was her true love, and it carried over to the way she thought, even in the wrestling format, so she loved every chance she had to go into a pure MMA match. This time, however, was extra special as she'd be facing none other than Naomi Van Makros. The sheer fact that she got to face a woman like her in LAW only confirming to Kate that she made the right call by signing in.

Entrance Music:

As she was called on to make her entrance, she would run out on stage, much more energetic than in the last few of her matches as she waved to the crowd while making her way to the octagon, replacing the usual wrestling ring for this fight. As was usual, she'd get checked by a medic right before entering the cage, whereupon she'd get to her corner, skipping from one leg to the other, bearly able to contain her excitement at the thought of getting to test her skills against a woman like Naomi

Kate’s wish had just come true. An MMA match. And with a former champion to boot! It was soon Naomi’s turn to enter the ring and her entrance music blasting for the arena to hear.



Fans, new and old and cheered as she entered the arena. Fists raised high as she was clad with an MMA style attire, mixed in with her new profession in wrestling. Spotting yellow top with her name written in black on it and connected via two straps to a yellow choker. Black shorts with a yellow trim dressed her bottom half.

Black gloves with yellow accents, and ankle braces with the same thing. Which is what Kate also seemed to be wearing to this clash of generations. Naomi was checked by the medic and gave the go ahead to enter the cage. Being back in the octagon brought a sense of nostalgia to her, taking a breath to gather herself and shaking her hands. Then started bouncing on the balls of her feet in anticipation.

And even sending a wink and smile at Kate.

Kate watched her opponent enter the cage and give her a wink, making a slight blush creep up her cheeks. 'Come on girl, not the time to fangirl' she thought to herself, getting distracted in a match like this was a surefire way to make the match short, and not in a good way for her. She needed to focus, getting excited was fine, and to be fair, she couldn't stop herself if she tried, but her head needed to stay in the game.

Just as she gathered herself, both of them were called to the center of the ring where the referee would go over the basic rules, it was a bit silly that it happened every single time even with experienced fighters but at that point, it was just a droaning in the background and an opportunity for last few words before fists started flying. As soon as the referee finished, Kate would reach out to offer a fist bump to Naomi "Let's have a good fight!" She'd say before backing away and getting ready for the bell to start the first round!

Naomi rolled her shoulders as she walked over once called up by the referee. She internally yawned but still paid attention to the rules. It was fair thing to do, she hasn’t been in the octagon for some time. A little rusty maybe but she hasn’t lost her edge whatsoever. She listened to the referee and then looked at Kate. Cute little thing she is. Too bad she’s gonna have to kick her ass.

Naomi then returned the fist bump offered. Smiling at Kate’s words before smirking. “Be warned sweetie, this is MY kingdom.” She winked again before stepping back. Fists raised as she waited for the bell.

Kate smiled at the response she got. "Suppose that makes me a revolutionary then? Well, watch your head, your highness" She joked as she got back to her side of the cage. She'd get one last quick stretch before putting her hands up, giving a last not to signal she was ready before the bell would ring to begin their match.

Kate usually started off aggressively, getting straight into her opponent's space to overwhelm them, keeping constant pressure. With most opponents, it worked off the bat, and then it was a matter of gassing them out and capitalising on mistakes. With an opponent like Naomi though, she knew better than to try that, she needed to see exactly how she rolled first and so she'd get closer, carefully, staying in a long guard before starting the last few paces to get in range for a quick combo of two jabs to the head and a hook to the body!

Kate didn’t seem to take the chance to strike first. A little disappointing but Naomi couldn’t blame her considering the chances of her launching the first strike were able to be countered. Which Naomi could easily do even if she hasn’t been in the octagon all that much. ‘Hmm… let’s test the waters,’ she thought to herself and proceeded to step forward. Cautiously stalking towards the shorter fighter.

But it seemed like that the smaller fighter had the same idea as Kate shot two quick jabs at Naomi. The former champ was glad she being cautious. If it was her back in her old days, she’d have rushed in and brute force it all the way. So the Lioness’s quick ambush tactic almost took her off Gaurd but the seasoned fighter got over the surprise. Even if one jab got through to her stomach, she managed to at least block the attack to her face using her arms as shields, but damn did that girl hit hard and Naomi took a step back. Eyes wide slightly from the jabs.

Ok, she’s good. Naomi then chuckled as she undid her arm shield. “Ok, not bad cutie. Now it’s my turn.”

Stomping her foot forward to move back up, Naomi would send in a few jabs of her own towards Kate. Swiftly launching them but purposely pulled them back before they could land. An intimidation tactic to get a rise out of the Lioness Fighter, wanting to see if this rebel would flinch. Repeating the same intimidation jabs again before she switched it up and spin on her heel for a spinning heel kick to Kate’s stomach.

Somehow, despite all the matches Kate was in, being called cute kept getting her distracted, luckily for her though it did not come at a time where it would have mattered, as Naomi threw a series of punches she never intended to land. It would have worked to get a reaction out of most people, but Kate noticed how she was not closing in for the punches and stayed calm, expecting her to switch up her combo with a hook or an uppercut.

She was wrong there, as instead of that, Naomi spun and slammed her heel into Kate's stomach, causing the girl to groan and lean forward, barely managing to brace for impact in time. "Gonna feel that one later..." She commented but pushed through the pain, hoping to close in while Naomi was still getting back to her stance to grab her behind the neck for a clinch and ram a knee strike into the woman's midsection

Her kick struck true and Naomi couldn’t help but smirk a little as she felt the Imai t of her foot crashing into Kate’s gut. But it seemed Naomi was too complacent as Kate took this opportunity to catch the former champ in a clinch. Trapping her neck and restraining her while the lioness’s knee came crashing again and again into Naomi’s abdomen.

“Ngh… nice retaliation…” she gagsoed out as another knee crashed into her gut.

A chuckle came from her before Naomi went through with a reversal of her own. Taking advantage of this position and then catching Kate’s knee the moment it came in for another knee stab into abdomen, Naomi pulled it towards her. Leaving Kate on one foot and in a show of her own strnegh and a little adrenaline, Naomi pulled back and lifted Kate off her feet… and then slammed her back down into the canvas!

Kate had no intention of slowing down her assault, the more she could damage Naomi's gut now, the harder it would be for the woman to keep up in terms of stamina, and she landed a few decent blows to the woman's core. This, of course, did not go on forever, and sooner enough she found her leg caught and started to be lifted off the mat, to soon get violently reunited with it.

Using the position of her hands behind Naomi's neck, and her leg being picked up under her arm, Kate would boost herself up while Naomi was lifting her, throwing her leg over the woman's shoulder and wrapping it around her neck, effectively making it a powerbomb, but also making herself ready fro impact, and even though the slam took quite a bit of wind out of her, she would force herself through the pain to focus and wrap her legs together behind Naomi's back to lock in a triangle choke!

Looks like that idea of lifting her up in a slam seemed to backfire. Pretty badly for that matter and now Kate had Naomi trapped in a triangle choke. Arm being yanked on while trapped between the lioness’s thighs. Which didn’t really seem all THAT bad when she thought about it. Kate has some FINE legs. The kind Naomi couldn’t help but purr a little even as they were keeping her locked down.

But Naomi pushed past her though the about those fine legs Kate has. Shifting to her knees and drawing on what strength she could, Naomi started to rise. Again! And she was showing off her strength again by lifting the smaller fighter up with her while still trapped! Looks like everyone is having Deja Vu…

And then it was complete with another slam.
